Love is in the air this Christmas!
This book of four Christmas novellas is a must read this Christmas season. With second chances, and budding romances, these four Christmas stories make a perfect read as you snuggle up with a cup of coffee and a blanket this holiday season.
I received a copy of this book from the author, but was not required to give a review. This is my honest opinion of this book.
“This is the best Christmas ever. I’m so grateful for our love—our evergreen love.”
What could be better than an Amish story about a Christmas wedding? How about four different stories that center around Amish Christmas weddings? In this new book, four beloved authors tease us with questions such as: Is it possible for two former sweethearts to experience a renewed love the second time around? Will a confirmed bachelor be willing to provide a home for a rebellious ten year-old boy and accept advice from a new teacher? Can two former friends mend their friendship or will a budding romance separate them for good? Should a widower open his heart to a new love and a new life?
Each of these novellas is about 100 pages long so this collection is perfect when you’re yearning to read but don’t have a lot of time. Grab a cup of hot chocolate, prop up your feet, and lose yourself in these stories that show us that love can occur at any age and that Christmas romance is so very magical! An Amish Christmas Wedding is an enjoyable book that proves once again the love, admiration, and understanding that Amy Clipston, Kelly Irvin, Kathleen Fuller, and Vannetta Chapman have for the Amish way of life.
I received a copy of this book but was under no obligation to write a favorable review. These are my own thoughts.
A collection of Christmas novellas by four well know authors captured this reader and left her with the holiday spirit . Each novella either ended with a Christmas Wedding or proposal. I’m not usually much for short stories but An Amish Christmas Wedding proved I had the wrong attitude and changed my mind about them. I loved the eye catching cover and I found that I had a good reading experience with this book.
Evergreen Love by Amy Clipston

Plans for the younger couple includes the estranged man and woman and draws them together whether they want to be or not. Holiday of Hope by Kelly Irvin

Mary Wengerd and Jakob Mullet had been best friends through out their school years. They tried dating each other but after five months broke up only to see their friendship become a thing of the past. Fate brings them back together once more a year later and they both discover they have romantic feelings about each other. When it didn’t work for them the first time they both are hesitant to start dating again for fear that it wouldn’t work this time either. Why then are they drawn to one another and constantly want to be together. Is it possible it could only be because of the Christmas holiday or is this God’s will working on both of them?
A Christmas Prayer by Vannetta Chapman
This Christmas novella is about an older Amish man and woman and a white Lab dog. The couple become friends when Micah Miller starts a business and Rachel wants to be part of it. Rachel is fifty eight and never been married. Micah is sixty , a widower who lives with his family. Rachel lives a lonely life and Micah feels ready to go on with his life after being a widower for ten years. Sometimes Rachel feels like a school girl when she’s around Micah but at other times she’s confused about her feelings for him. The two are good friends but could there possibly be a future for this older couple? Could God have plans for more than friendship for Micah and Rachel? Where does the lab fit into all of this? He plays an important part in this Christmassy story. You won’t want miss this novella!
This collection of Christmas novellas is for readers of Amish Fiction . Also readers of Christian Fiction and clean read will be comfortable reading this book. I highly recommend it and gave it five Stars.
I borrowed a Kindle ebook copy from the Hoopla Library. A review was not requested. All opinions expressed here in this review are my own.
This is a wonderful collection of Amish Christmas stories. Evergreen Love is my favorite story. Ryan and Lorene haven’t seen much of either other since their engagement was broken. This is a sweet second chance romance. Holiday of Hope is not only a sweet romance but a start of a new family when Henry starts to raise his deceased best friend’s son with the help of the new school teacher. Wreathed in Joy is a nice Christmas story of former best friends’ chance at romance. I loved A Christmas Prayer which portrays a sweet romance between an older couple. I enjoyed reading all of these stories. I received a free copy of this ebook from the publisher through Netgalley. This is my honest and voluntarily given review.
An Amish Christmas Wedding: Four Stories is a wonderfully festive novella collection with heartwarming stories written by authors Amy Clipston, Kelly Irvin, Kathleen Fuller, and Vannetta Chapman. Set during the autumn and winter seasons in four different Amish communities across the United States, the novellas in this book feature meaningful Christmas love stories that sparkle with faith, hope, and second chances.
As they share the wonder of Christmas and the themes of family, friendships, sweet traditions, and new beginnings, these novellas are truly engaging and enjoyable. The stories in this collection include genuinely likable characters who endeavor to bless others as they also pursue purpose, forgiveness, healing, contentment, and hope. There is a pleasant progression from one novella to the next as the four special stories all affirm the gift of family, the importance of friendships, the beauty of simple joys, the value of faith, and the blessing of fresh starts.
I thoroughly enjoyed each of the charming stories included in this book. The plot of each novella easily captured my attention, and I experienced authentic emotional connections to the characters within each story. Their concerns, desires, grace, and patience uplifted and encouraged me story after story.
An Amish Christmas Wedding is a tender-hearted story collection full of Christmas cheer. The novellas it contains are wholly edifying, worthwhile, and thoughtful. I eagerly recommend this book to all readers.
*I was given a copy of this book by the author(s)/publisher. A review was not required. The review I have written is voluntary and contains opinions that are entirely my own.
This book has 4 delightful Christmas stories by authors Amy Clipston, Kelly Irvin, Kathleen Fuller, and Vannetta Chapman. Christmas is a special time of year and each story comes from a very different event in the lives of the characters. Great way to start the Christmas reading season.
This is a group of four Amish romance novellas that are from four of my favorite authors. These are each based around Christmas and weddings. I did not want to put this book down. As soon as I finished one novella I started the next one. Each novella had great characters. It is always fun to see how each writer shows a slightly different view of how each Amish community is viewed. If you enjoy reading about Christmas and Amish you will love these stories. I received a copy of this book from the author for a fair and honest opinion that I gave of my own free will.
I enjoy reading the novella anthologies that seem very popular with Amish fiction/romance. Why do you ask? One I get to revisit some of my favorite characters or towns briefly and learn more about side characters. Two I find new to me authors or series that I might not normally gravitate towards. Three I can read a story a night and fall asleep happy.
I tend to suggest these novella anthologies to readers who want to dip their toes into the Amish genre. This selection of novellas will be on my heavily suggested list. Each story is full of love and Christmas cheer. How can you go wrong?
Don’t ask me to pick a favorite as that would not be right. Each story was heartwarming and written well. A perfect book to put you in the Christmas cheer.
I received a complimentary copy from the publisher, Zondervan Fiction, through NetGalley. Any opinions expressed in the above review are entirely my own.
Four best selling authors each bring us a short delightful novella set during the Christmas season. Christmas is a magical time when people find love and hope. These four couples do not disappoint. They find love, grace, forgiveness, and happiness. Each of these stories stand alone but carry the same themes. I love Christmas time so I was delighted with these stories. The characters were easy to follow and fall in love with. The story lines were believable. I highly recommend grabbing a hot beverage and putting your feet up. I received a copy through Netgalley. A review was not required.
An Amish Christmas Wedding
By: Amy Clipston, Kelly Irvin, Kathleen Fuller, and Vannetta Chapman
A collection of four wonderful Amish fiction stories by four wonderful authors. These stories are all about Christmas weddings. They are not related and can be read alone. I loved them all and each stories full of love, joy, and miracle. Evergreen Love by Amy Clipston, Holiday of Hope by Kelly Irvin, Wreathed in Joy by Kathleen Fuller, and A Christmas Prayer by Vannetta Chapman. All these stories are short and had me turning the pages and trying to read faster. I was not disappointed. At times I was laughing and other times i had tears in my eyes. A wonderful book filled with Christmas spirit.
I was given a complimentary copy of this book, but was not told that I had to give a positive review. All opinions are my own.
How I enjoyed this “feel good” book about Amish couples’ lives with their challenges, dreams, disappointments, hopes, friendships, and prayers.

Four short Novellas all about weddings. Each one is well written and very enjoyable. great book to get you ready for some Christmas reading. Each book is written by different well known authors. I loved them all.
The stories in this collection are so sweet. I love the book cover.
I have read books by three out of the four authors. I am so honoured to read a story by Vannetta Chapman.
The food in this book made me hungry.
I wanted to live in an Amish community so I can eat along with them. Isn’t it funny when your imagination goes wild while reading a book?
What do you say to a wedding set around Christmas?
Christmas is my favourite season in a year apart from birthdays. Reading this novel made me realise that we are few months close to Christmas!
Whenever I pick up an Amish Christian Fiction novel, I am sure of an adventure to the lives and minds of the characters in the plot. Only a good book does that to you.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Zondervan through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own.
Four short stories that will have you quickly turning the pages, you can read one, but they are that good that you will be moving on to the next one.
The stories are not connected, they contain good life lessons, the first one we had a young man who seems like he can’t really commit, but keep reading maybe this couple or former couple needs to talk.
The second, this young boy has been through so much, more than anyone should, especially a child. He did make me chuckle with some of his antics, but I felt he was crying for help! Can this ten-year old ever find a real home?
Can best friends find their way to love, Kathleen Fuller gives us a couple who have been childhood friends, and then took it a step further with disastrous results. Can they become friends again, or more?
Finding friends and family, and is it possible love? That is what the last story in the book by Vannetta Chapman offers us, as a widower and older single Amish couple try to find their way to a relationship. A sweet read, with feeling of loss and held together with the love of an older dog.
You don’t want to miss this one, and like M & M’s you won’t be able to stop after just one!
I received this book through Net Galley and the Publisher Zondervan, and was not required to give a positive review.
An Amish Christmas Wedding is a collection of four easy-to-read, heartwarming, inspiring stories written by four talented authors. These stories showcase four Amish couples—Lorene and Ryan, Leesa and Henry, Mary and Jakob, Rachel and Micah—who find or rekindle love at Christmas time. The well-crafted, relatable (even if you’re not Amish) characters face struggles including broken hearts, secrets, grief, doubts, age, and loneliness on their way to finding second chances and sweet romance. As you would expect, the faith element is strong in each story with emphasis on finding and accepting God’s purpose and plan.
I enjoyed all the stories, but my favorite is Kelly Irvin’s A Holiday of Hope. It is “the story of a widower, an orphan, and a reluctant teacher” who must each come to grips with issues in their own lives which compromise their relationship.
I highly recommend this book especially for lovers of Amish fiction and anthologies.
I received a complimentary copy of this book from Zondervan through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in the review are completely by own.
I love the combination of several stories from great authors and this book was no exception. Amy Clipston, Kelly Irvin, Kathleen Fuller and Vannetta Chapman showed us a glimpse of several different couples and how their relationships develop, have problems that are similar to those outside the faith but who choose to let GOD work in their lives to show them the ways in which they should progress. It also shows how important family is to the Amish community. In the outside community many people are all alone but in the faithful community of the Amish they make sure to take care of those in their world. They know those that are alone and those without any family left and include them into the celebrations and togetherness they share. If only the outside world could be so giving.
This is definitely a Christmas or Holiday book that needs to be read and shared. Would make a great gift for someone in the family or a good friend.
Christmas time is approaching and the perfect thing to get you in the mood is a great Christmas story. These four stories keep the commercialization out of the stories as we look at Christmas from an Amish point of view. There are stories full of reality and hardships that have the reader wishing the characters the best.
Evergreen Love – Lorene had resigned herself to the fact that her young love did not work out and she will remain single the rest of her life. But when her once love enters back into the scene, will they be able to be in the same room again? Their feelings are complicated but will they be able to work it out again? I quickly was thrown into the believable story and cheering them on!
Holiday of Hope – When a single man suddenly is the caretaker of a young boy, he has his hands full. Teacher Leesa Yoder has taken on the challenge to help her student as well. Can they help the young boy who has faced so many difficulties early on in life to begin to thrive again? I really enjoyed a story that was not a typical Amish storyline and addressed hardships from several points of view.
Wreathed in Joy – Two best friends decide to give dating a chance. Will it work out? The sudden pressure for a romantic relationship didn’t work for Mary and Jakob. Can they become friends again or has too much damage been done to their relationship? I had a hard time putting the story down to find out.
A Christmas Prayer – Lastly, romance is not only for the young. I loved to see how the budding relationship between Micah and Rachel developed right on the pages of the story. To see the love for each other stretch beyond his desires was remarkable. He seemed to know exactly what she needed in every situation as he was attuned to her.
I would have a very time choosing a favorite of the four books. Since they are short stories, the authors had to do their best to introduce the characters, help the reader relate, and express the problem in a very short amount of time. I felt as if all four did this is remarkable ways. I was invested in the storyline of each story and wanted to know how it would end. The fact that it centered around Christmas was an added bonus!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own and I was not required to leave a positive review.
Four wonderful Amish wedding stories by four talented authors. Each was a heartwarming Christmas themed story. They were delightful reads and each told interesting, attention holding tales. They were very enjoyable and light reads that brought out delightful characters and Christian reading themes.
You will definitely enjoy these stories of love, forgiveness and Christmas weddings!
I received an ebook copy through NetGalley. All thoughts are my own.
