I may be twenty-seven years old, yet every year going home for Christmas is something I eagerly look forward to. I can never wait to get back and see my dad, Heart, my stepmom and my younger brother and sisters, as well as the proxy cousins, uncles and aunts who I grew up with. The Satan’s Devils MC has been my family for all of my life. This year, though, I’m dreading it, knowing there are so … are so many people who’ll be disappointed in me if the truth comes out.
They’d know something was wrong if I didn’t go home.
They’ll know something’s wrong as I fear I won’t be able to hide it.
Xander’s been my rock since the night my world imploded. For three months he’s barely left my side, and he’s promised he won’t stop now. Maybe with him I can pretend everything is fine.
One thing for certain, I mustn’t let my MC family into my secret. If they knew what had happened, they’d blame me for certain. Worse, they’d want to take matters into their own hands.
I can do this. I can join in the celebrations and pretend that there’s nothing wrong. Can’t I?

I was super excited to see that Satan’s Devils MC was getting a second generation series! I really enjoyed the first round of novels pertaining to the Satan’s Devils MC’s and was super thrilled to see we would get more stories from characters we love. I suppose you could read this as a standalone easily enough but I think it would be great to get to know the whole MC family before jumping into the next generation of stories.
This one was a super emotional read. I would probably say a small trigger warning is necessary for those that have sensitivities to violence and women getting abused. It was done so with class though so I think if you can read past it and not have anxiety you will see that it makes this story what it is as far as wrenching those emotions alive as you read. I won’t go into much more details other than Amy is a woman that I just wanted to scoop up and hug away her pain. The supporting characters are just as fabulous to read and I am hoping that there isn’t much of a wait to get the next story in the series. The cute addition of being around a lovely time of year that emotes so much joy and happiness for many was just a shiny bonus. Oh but that Santa hat y’all… love it super cute twist without being cheesy or something I only would want to read once a year. Can’t wait to see what is next!
Amy Santa: A Satan’s devils MC by Manda Mellett
Amy grew up in a motorcycle club family. One particular person stood by her growing up. Then she got to an age where it wasn’t socially acceptable to hang out of a teen. So One of the members showed her any nuts or savory way where he stood with her. Fast forward 10 years, she is as a career, has a life outside of the club. But she also had a trauma in this 10 years that left her with fear and worry. She’s afraid to head back to the club she grew up in. And she’s worried that her family will find out what had happened to her.
I was really impressed by how Manda Mellett described her trauma through another character. It was well worded and made you feel as though you were right there when it happened. The way that Zander explained Amy’s tragic event to a room full of angry bikers made you feel as if your a fly on the wall feeling all that anger and pain.
This book had a wide range of emotions all the way through. Being anger, fear, worry, heartbreak, pain, eventually love.
This book really impressed me and I am looking into reading the rest of the series.
Amy grew up on the Satan’s Devils Motorcycle club compound. Drew found himself part of the club when his sister married a member. Despite their ten-year age difference, Amy and Drew became good friends. When Amy was 7 and Drew was 17, Amy became accompanied him to museums and ice cream shops. When he was 19, Drew instilled a love of horses into a 9-year-old Amy. At 14, Amy found it hard to accept that a 24-year-old Drew was going out on dates. At 17, Amy wanted to be the one Drew wanted to date. Amy’s father was having no part of that and made sure Drew made it clear that he was not interested in Amy to halt her endless flirting. At 18, a heart-broken Amy left home to pursue college and career in another city.
When Amy comes home at the age of 27, so much has changed. Life has taught her many lessons and she is still recovering from having her trust shattered. Coming home from Christmas and having to face her family is hard. While she knows her father, or any club brother for that matter, would help her deal with her problem, she feels ashamed and doesn’t want to get them involved. What she doesn’t count on is the boy she loved growing up now being the man in charge the Satan’s Devils…or that this man would ask her for the one thing she is having a hard time finding again, trust. Can Amy trust Drew? Can she find herself again? Or is she broken beyond repair?
From what I can tell, this story is the furthering of stories previously written about this motorcycle club. I found myself falling in love with the characters and wanting to know more of their back story. I was rooting for Amy and Drew, while hoping that Amy would see herself as a survivor and allow herself to heal and find happiness again. This was a good read that made me crave more of this world. I will definitely be looking into the other books in this series!
Amy’s Santa: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #1 by Manda Mellett
Five Stars
Amy’s Santa is the first book in Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation Series by Manda Mellett. I have to say this new generation series is even better than the original. This story grabbed my attention from the start and I couldn’t put it down until the last. Amy coming home after being away so long, and bringing a new man with her really stirs things up at the club. Drew is now the President and he doesn’t know how to take Xander. This story is packed with all the feels. I’m really glad that we get glimpses of the older members. I can’t wait to read more of the Satin’s Devils new generation. Excellent read!
Amy’s Santa: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #1 by Manda Mellet was a book I couldn’t put down. I was stuck at home sick while the husband was out of town and I normally have a problem focusing on reading when I’m home alone, but not this time. Not sure if it’s due to knowing the characters and a lot of them I have known most of if not all of their lives or because the story grabbed me from the beginning. I’m leaning towards a bit of both.
Holy cow, Amy is all grown up now and has a life of her own outside of Tuscon. Overall life has been good for her until just recently. Her story broke my heart and brought out the protective Mama in me, luckily she has great support from her friends and family even if she hasn’t been exactly forthcoming with everything.
The more books I read about the Satan’s Devil’s the more in love with everyone I fall. So looking forward to this next generation and their stories.
Amy’s Santa ( Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #1) by Manda Mellett
4 Stars!!!!
I have to say that I was not let down. This is yet another great book from this author and the series. I really like the writer’s style and story line. I found myself lost in the story and felt as though I was right in the story with the characters.
I really like the complexity of Amy and Wizard’s(Drew) relationship. Although I felt Xander’s pain I totally like how the author was able to handle that and build the drama that really made the story. I like how the author brings in the past to shape the future. I found that I could relate to Amy’s character as I have some similarities in my life. I will definitely be reading more from this author in the future and hopefully this series.
I give Amy’s Santa: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #1 by Manda Mellett, 4 stars.
If you have read the Satan’s Devils books, you will be familiar with Amy and Drew. While Amy has been away at college and then starting a career for herself, she had a dark tragedy happen that almost broke her. But she proves how strong she really is and is still going, with the help of a very good friend. Now it’s time to go back to her family for Christmas. But she doesn’t want her family to know. Then she sees Drew again and cannot seem to keep her eyes off him.
Drew has proven himself and with lots of hard work and dedication, excels in computer sciences and becomes the new president of the club. That is all he as thought about until now. But seeming Amy again, he thinks maybe it’s time to have a woman by his side. Yet she has come with another man. Not to mention the haunted look in her eyes. Can he win her away?
This book is quite a bit darker to me than the other Devil’s books. If you are sensitive to sexual violence, you may not want to read this. That having been said, it is such a good book and I could not put it down. We again meet the characters we have come to love to well. Besides the love and attraction between Drew and Amy, this book is about love and family, and what they will do for another of their own.
If you are a fan of hot MC romance, this book is for you.
Amy’s Santa is the first book in the Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation series. You can read this story as a standalone, however you’ll feel more connected to the characters if you’ve read books in the previous Satan’s Devils series.
If you are sensitive to descriptions of violence in general, and/or violence against women, you’ll want to read with caution.
I always love to see what this author is going to do with the characters. She tells a great story with real-to-life elements, which make you feel like you are immersed in their experience. I won’t give away the story too much. I’ll say that I felt for Amy. It’s devastating when your trust is violated. I also felt bad for Xander. I mean, I get it, but also……sad. On a lighter note, the Santa hat cracked me up.
Overall, this was a great read. There were light and dark elements that kept the story balanced and entertaining. I’m not big on holiday themed books, but this one was an excellent choice.
Amy’s Santa: Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation # 1 by Manda Mellett is a suspenseful / romantic book. From the first page I was hooked and didn’t put it down until the very last page. It takes you on so many twists and turns that you aren’t really sure what’s coming next. I fell in love with both Drew and Amy from the start who are the main characters. Amy is coming home for Christmas like she does every year but this year is harder. When she’s trying to hide something from her MC family and isn’t sure she can pull it off. But can she keep it to herself? How will her future look after all this? I highly recommend reading this book.
Amy’s Santa is the first book in Manda Mellett’s Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation!!! Finally!!! We have been waiting for it for such a long time AND Manda did not disappoint! There were so many ‘children’ she could have started with and I am so happy she started with Amy and Drew aka Wizard. We met Amy in Heart’s story (she is his daughter) and Drew in Mouse’s story (his sister Mariana is Mouse’s Old Lady). I assume you could read this story as a standalone but I strongly recommend to read the other series before as you will get so much more out of it as you will know the background to the other characters that play a big role in the story!
Manda has given us a story that fits well with her MC series and I am looking forward to the rest of the second generation stories. You would think that she’d reach the bottom of the well when it comes to her Satan’s Devils but heck no, her imagination keeps on giving and what is there not to love about brotherhood and loyalty and action and love and steam and … Thank you dear writer and please keep them coming!
Amy’s Santa by Manda Mellett a five-star read that you need to read. This is the first novel in the Satan’s Devils MC second generation series, and this is a great story about Amy, and she will surprise you as you read her story. This has some great characters as always, we get to catch up with some that we have met previously if you read the first series (but if you haven’t read that series it doesn’t matter as they are well done so you don’t miss anything), and will get to see Amy and Drew face fate, Amy has a terrific story, not a nice one, but one that will show her how strong she truly is. Xander played a great role in this story as well, and it was a nice twist with him added. Overall a great start to the next generation of character stories.
Amy’s Santa is the first book in the 2nd Generation of Satan’s Devils MC. I first started reading Manda Mellett’s amazing MC books near the end of the first generation series and have read all of the Colorado Chapter books so far and I think these books just keep getting better and better. Each book is new and innovative and the stories are fresh and not repetitive at all as can happen when you write about the same group of people.
I loved that in this 2nd generation, all the old (in more ways than one) characters are still around creating mischief even though their bodies aren’t quite what they used to be.
In this book we get the story of Amy, daughter of heart, and Drew (now Wizard) who has taken over from Drummer as Prez. This is certainly no hearts and flowers romance novel. The subject matter is quite dark in parts and there are also scenes which are quite gruesome. As ever with Manda Mellett’s MC books there are some hot and steamy sexy times going on too.
One thing I loved was how the author got the name for this book. That certainly was a scene to remember.
Having finished this book, I can’t wait to get my next fix of the Satan’s Devils MC.
This story has some of our favorite characters from Mellet’s other series visiting for the “event of the century!” The beginning of Amy’s Santa shows us the love that Amy and Drew have for each other, regardless of their age difference. Only time will tell if that difference keeps them apart.
This story has motorcycle clubs, love, violence, family and BDSM situations. The story is easy to read and action packed. Mellet does a good job with the characters and their reactions to the situations that happen.
No need to read the other series first but just know, after reading any of Mellet’s MC’s books will get you wanting to read all of them!
Amy grew up around the Satan’s Devils MC and has been away from them for many years now. Christmas seems to be the only time Amy will visit but this year she is dreading the return. She is afraid of what people may or may not pick up on, as well as what they might think of the company she is bringing. But she knows she has to do this, because not showing up would be far worse in their protective eyes. As the story evolves you see Amy’s true colors start to shine through as she starts to gain back the confidence she tragically lost.
I thought this book would end up being just another MC book, but I was kept on my toes as the story went through some crazy plot twists and turns. The common theme of family and brotherhood was definitely present through this whole story which was heartwarming to read. However, readers should take heed to the author’s note about the story being dark in places and may contain triggers. While this could be a testament to the author’s descriptive abilities, there was one chapter that I found difficult to stomach while reading.
This is almost bittersweet to read. I enjoy the new guys at the helm and the whole second gen thing. Equally I am sad reading about how old and decrepit the original guys are. I am thinking they are only 50-60ish (I know they lived hard) but hearing about their creaky/sore bums, backs and legs from riding a couple hours? They just don’t seem that old. Especially since Drew is almost 40. I struggled wrapping my head around this. I did enjoy how relaxed the original guys were. Joking and laughing around and causing trouble for the new Prez.
Amy’s story is something I didn’t expect. She was so sweet and nurturing while growing up. Hence becoming a nurse but she has a darker side that is just different. Tragedy happens then she needs to return to the compound for Christmas festivities and face Drew and the family.
Wizard formerly Drew was Amy’s best friend growing up. Once a crush was developed Wiz had to put a stop to it since he is ten yrs older. That stop changed everything between them.
I did love seeing the clubhouse at Christmas time. Everyone being there. All the joking and back slapping. Seemed like old times. This is a fun enjoyable story with a touch of dark and danger.
Note: This story is dark in places and may contain triggers
Amy’s Santa (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #1) by Manda Mellett is the first book in the Satan’s Devils Second Generation series. I have read the first generation as well as her Colorado chapter books. I can honestly say that I love these books. I did put the disclaimer that Manda Mellett put in her teaser about the book and characters. This story is about Amy and Drew. They were apart of the first generation series but they were young. I was hoping there was a story going to be told about these two. Without giving too much away Amy loved coming home for the holidays but this year was different. Amy has a secret that she does not want her Satan Devil’s family to find out about. Will Amy’s secret stay safe or will her family find out about it? What does the future hold for her? Will Drew be apart of her future? It is well worth reading this story to find out the answers to these questions and more.
Amy’s Santa was a great 5 star read and book one in Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation series. This is Drew and Amy’s story and I was pulled in right from the beginning.
We start out when they are kids and go through the years until they are both adults. Amy is 18 and ready to leave for nursing school. After she saw Drew with a sweet butt she was determined to get away.
Years pass and Amy has her degree and a great job in Phoenix, she visits here and there. When Amy returns for Christmas she has a secret that she is keeping from her family. She has experienced something tragic that has caused her distrust of people. What will happen when her family finds out her secret? When she sees Drew old feelings come back, could she possibly finally get what she has always wanted?
Overall I really enjoyed this read and I really loved the characters. We get multiple POV’s which I love so I can see what others are thinking. My emotions were all over the place. I did also have some LOL moments as well. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series. 1-click and get started today on this great MC read.
I’m a little upset that I did not read the first generation book first. My favorite romance novels are those about MC’s. At first I wasn’t too sure how the novel started, but the more I got into the book I actually liked the background story given first, it was fitting and kind of set your mindset for the read. It great to see a young lady return to her home after moving away. I think I’m going to go back and read the first generation book now, even though I’ve read the spoiler for Amy already! Worth the read!
Amy’s Santa (Satan’s Devils MC Second Generation #1) by Manda Mellett
5 stars
What a surprise this series was! I was anxious when I heard about the second generation as I was dying to know who would be first, and I’m so glad it was Amy!
This was just a bit different than the previous series stories, but also its the first book so it has to set the scene too. Lets just say I’m used to more “tricks” and groveling, but this worked for these 2.
I cannot wait to see where this goes and how it all plays out.
Does this author ever sleep?!
Yes Yes Yes! I feel like I have been waiting ages to dive into another Manda Mellett read and when I got my hands on this read I didn’t want it to end! She has done it again and this time with a spin-off from the Satan’s Devils MC bringing us the Second generation! This book was brilliant from start to finish! While these books are part of a series they can be read as a stand-alone but believe me you won’t want to read them separately you will definitely regret not reading them all. This book has romance, passion, action, adventure & suspense, and it really will hold you captive and engaged right until the very end! It will have you smiling, have you mad and angry but more than not it will have you rooting for characters you have come to love!
I loved everything about this read. It brings you along on Amy’s journey as she faces many things. This book does include some trigger content for our characters but Manda Mellett always writes them in a respectful way. This book has a lot of emotions for us as the reader but also the journey Amy takes bring emotions with it.
I absolutely loved her relationship and connection to Drew a.k.a Wizard throughout the whole read, you could tell what they had was real even from when they were younger, they really were both made for each other and to see that relationship have its ups and downs was hard you just wished and hoped they would get a HEA.
I loved revisiting & reading about all the other characters from previous books, it tied it all together perfectly. Another thing I loved about this read was that it was written in dual POV’s I really seem to connect more with the story and the characters as it gives me a better insight into the characters an what they are really thinking and feeling! But ultimately it makes me love them more! I cant wait to see what else comes from this series and this author you will never be disappointed when reading a book by Manda Mellett!
