AMORE: Part #1
As soon as I read the prologue I knew I was going to love this. No one has ever written a story like this and that fascinated me. Sassy Juliette meets Mafia boss Raf. The one thing that comes to mind when you’re reading about Raf is how much you swoon over him.
He wants Juliette but only on his terms she either agree or not, he doesn’t give her a lot of choices it’s either his way or no way. He can be an overbearing asshole which does not sit well with Juliette she constantly fights with him especially when he’s being a moody bossy asshole.
I love Juliette? Here she is fucking the Mafia boss, and instead of doing what’s she is told she gives him attitude and sass back. She’s a stubborn ass girl with balls the size of any man.

AMORE: Part #2
With how the first story ended I was expecting a lot more.
Julietta is pushed back into Rafael’s life not by choice but by blackmail.
Enter Marcus Tandem who said he has a connection that can offer her protection.
The Jokers’s Wrath MC, oh how I have missed these boys.
Maddox, Mack, Krypt, Tyke these names make me so happy, so you know with these boys on her side shit is going to get handled.
I like the first part but I wasn’t blown away with this.
When you mix mafia with bikers you expect more fireworks.
Amore Part 1 ~ 4.5 Stars ~
~ 4.5 Stars ~
So let’s be honest here. When I signed up to review Amore, I had no idea that it was going to be part one. In fact, none of us did. Would that have changed my mind? Absolutely not. In fact, after reading it, I’m actually glad that Bella wrote it the way she did. It looks like there’s so much more to Julietta and Rafael and I can’t wait for the rest of it.
Julietta (Julie) is a single, beautiful young woman who has been raised in a mixed family that is dominated by Italian blood. She’s smart and fun and has a fierce loyalty to her family and friends. On an average night out at a night club with her best friend, Julie is having a blast. Sure, they are in a club own by the mafia and instead of being afraid, they make light of it. Little did she know that her fun time just caught the attention of Rafael Lencioni, the mafia Boss, and her life is about to be forever changed.
Rafael Lencioni has a lot of responsibilities as the Boss. He is expected to hold a certain status and that means there are different expectations for him and how he lives. It isn’t uncommon to have a woman on his arm. So when Julietta captures his attention, it doesn’t seem like anything different. He plans to pursue her like he has anyone else. But there just seems to be something completely different about her. Something that pulls her to him and won’t let him go. Something that stirs up feelings in him that he is not prepared for and definitely does want. Will he be able to keep all this in check or will Julietta get to him unlike anyone else?
Here’s the thing. I’m leaving this a bit vague. This story is a different take on a mafia romance. It’s from a perspective that we don’t normally get a side to. It wasn’t until the Author’s Note at the beginning that I really understood what kind of journey that I might be going on and I couldn’t have been more excited. There are loads of plot twists in this story. Just when you think you have everything figured out, something else happens and it shakes you up. I was always trying to figure out what was going on and loved it when I was actually wrong and surprised. It made it so much better. I’m so glad Bella Jewel decided to give us this particular story. I’m really starting to think there isn’t anything she can write.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story. If you are looking for a mafia romance with so many plot twists and a unique take on mafia romance, then get this book now. You won’t be disappointed!
Amore Part 2 ~ 4.5 Stars ~
~ 4.5 Stars ~
Well, here we are again. The second part to Amore. The first part left us in a pretty big cliffhanger so I was certainly dying to get my hands on this one so I knew what was going to happen. I don’t want to give any spoilers from Part 1 so this review might just be a little vague.
When we first meet this couple, Julietta happens to run into Rafael at his club. While she knows the club that she is at is owned by an Italian Mafia Boss, she has no idea that the man she meets and can’t take her eyes off of is actually the BOSS. Their relationship after that is a whirlwind. It is easy to tell that the two of them love each other but Rafael’s most important rule is for Julietta to never fall in love with him. She does and things spiral. Then we get hit with a major cliffy.
OK, now that I recapped that slightly, Part 2 picks up about 9 months after Julietta tells Rafael that she loves him. They have not been together and Julietta’s life has turned into pure chaos. She now has a new reason for living and her priorities have shifted. Unfortunately someone is ready to double cross Rafael and is using Julietta as a pawn in order to get what they want. I don’t want to say much more beyond that. There are certainly some twists that you won’t see coming and a great surprise from some characters of another series that Bella writes about that has me itching now to go back and read all about them again.
I just love Julietta. She’s so strong. Especially in this book. She really shows just how strong she is and how much her love and protection will actually go. Even when she is facing the toughest situations, she remains strong and never lets the fight go out of her.
Rafael. Oh Rafael. In this book we get to see just how much he actually cares for Julietta. We still get a bit of the demanding alpha that he’s always been but you can tell that Julietta has gotten under his skin and tore down the walls built around his heart. The struggle he has throughout this book is tough and heartbreaking but it’s great to see how much love he can actually have.
“You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, Julietta. You could be a hundred pounds heavier than you were when you left me and I’d still think that.”
I also enjoyed how much of a role that Celia, Julietta’s best friend, and Vincent, Rafael’s brother played in it. You can tell that there is something between the two of them and I loved Celia’s fight that she had in him. I hope we get their story!
Overall, I really enjoyed Rafael and Julietta’s story. If you looking for a different side on a Mafia romance that is full of twists and turns, then this is the series for you.
