I was given the opportunity to read an Advanced Reader Copy of Laura Bradford’s story, “The Christmas Program,” which is part of The Amish Christmas Miracles, a collection of 14 different Amish Christmas stories written by 14 different authors, to be released on November 10th, 2020. The Christmas Program is a sweet, inspirational, and heart-warming short Christmas story about connecting with others, tradition, and love. I absolutely love this story and am excited to eventually read the other 13 stories!
I was given the opportunity of reading an advanced copy of Ashley Emma’s, The Amish Author’s Christmas, and I did enjoy the book! A very tender, heartwarming story of faith, family and community.
An Unexpected Christmas Gift, By Jennifer Spredemann.
Jennifer Spredemann is one of 14 authors collaborating on this delightful book
of Christmas stories. Janie, a young Amish woman, receives a box of chocolates, having no idea who sent them. Determined, Janie sets out to solve the mystery, by sending a thank you note from the packages return address. The note is delivered to Robert, a young pilot & former Amish man.
Writing back & forth, trying to solve the mystery, Robert & Janie begin a friendship that eventually sweetens into a budding romance. Janie knows she can’t marry a non-Amish man, but is Robert willing to give up his dream job as an airline pilot? Could he return, or even want to return to his past Amish faith?
I thoroughly enjoyed MS. Spredemann’s story & how she threads God’s love throughout it. The characters are warm, lovable & amusing, especially Janie’s
humerous father!
I most definitely recommend this story & can’t wait to read the entire book. All the authors are amazing writers & do not disappoint.
I received an advanced copy of an Unexpected Christmas Gift, but all thought & opinions are totally my own.

Wonderful Authors!
I just finished reading A Gift Worth Waiting For, by Tracy Fredrychowski. This was one of 14 stories in Amish Christmas Miracles Collection.
Ms. Fredrychowski wrote a sweet story of loss, working through the anger, questioning God, acceptance & finally opening up the heart to a life God is leading towards.
This author is relatively new to me, but I am very anxious to read
more of her work, that I’ve heard amazing things about! I was given an advanced copy of this story, but all opinions are my own.
All authors of this book are wonderful & I highly recommended this book!
Review Contains Spoilers: No
Susan Lantz Simpson takes her readers on a warmhearted, comforting ride that will leave them craving fudge, a crackling fire, and the simplicity of the Amish way of life. There is no better time in this unsettled world, to curl up with a heartwarming Amish romance. I was given a preview of Susan’s story to read in exchange for an honest review.
I just finished an ARC of The Christmas Fudge Miracle by Susan Lantz Simpson that is featured in Amish Christmas Miracles, and what a day brightener it was. BethAnn Byler is sent (actually set up) by the Christmas Cookbook cronies, as she calls them, to get a favorite fudge recipe from the son of one of their group who has passed away. Except she goes about it all wrong, angering the son, and he refuses to give it to her. The story that follows is both poignant and humorous. Based on The Christmas Fudge Miracle, I preordered the book and can’t wait to read the rest of the stories!
This is a review for “The Amish Author’s Christmas” by Ashley Emma. Ivy was an author who was running out of time for her next book. If she didn’t get a book written soon her publisher would drop her. She decided to visit an Amish community, live with a family, and write about them.
I have read an early copy of Jennifer Spredemann’s story ‘An Unexpected Christmas Gift’, one of the stories included in the Amish Christmas Miracles Collection’ releasing November 10, 2020

I have read an early copy of Jennifer Spredemann’s story ‘An Unexpected Christmas Gift’, one of the stories included in the Amish Christmas Miracles Collection’ releasing November 10, 2020. This book is a compilation/anthology of 14 different stories by 14 authors. Some are new to me and some are old faves! I am now anxious to read the rest of the stories!
This was such a sweet story of an older Amish woman who thought perhaps she was beyond the normal marriageable age. Through a mysterious gift she finds that God’s mercy and His hand have a most incredible way of guiding her in the direction her life should take. Without giving away the story, I will say that this book was a sweet reminder of God’s attention to our personal lives and that His hand is in all things.
I really enjoyed the message that was shared in this book and the story was fresh and new. I really loved the story.
I had the pleasure of reading another story in this book written by Jennifer Beckstrand. This story was entitled Peanut Butter Christmas.
It was featuring the 8 year old Petersheim brothers, Alfie and Benji, a delightful set of twins that have been wonderful matchmakers. They are full of fun, mischief and all about adventures! The author is known for her wit and humorous reads that are very enjoyable, as was the case with this story. This story is very enjoyable and filled with Christmas Spirit.
I also read the story Christmas to Treasure by Rachel J. Good. I loved this story of a marriage of convenience. It seemed like a story that would actually happen as people try to help one another in different life situations. I enjoyed that there were conflicts and life was certainly not perfect as Rose might have hoped for as she was married to the man she had loved and lost to another woman and the memories of her seemed to linger. This was a very heartwarming story and was sweet and left you with good feelings!
I think you will love this compilation. Just so enjoyable.
I received an ebook copy from the author. All thoughts are my own.
I am sure this collection of stories will delight any readers of Amish fiction. The stories are very fun to read!
I received this from the authors. All thoughts are my own.
I was given the opportunity to read an advanced copy of Laura Bradford’s story, The Christmas Program, and it was lovely. I’ve read all of Laura’s Amish books and even in this short story she taught me something new about the Amish community. It doesn’t hurt that I’m a Christmas junkie, but this was a lovely little tale about the annual Christmas program held in an Amish schoolhouse. There’s also a little romance and some sweet scenes with one of the school children. It also made me long for Christmas cookies!! In only a few pages I felt a connection to the characters and enjoyed the path the story took. I can’t wait to read the east of the stories in this collection!!
I was given the opportunity of reading an advanced copy of Tracy Fredrychowski’s story ‘A Gift Worth Waiting For’, one of the stories included in the Amish Christmas Miracles Collection’ releasing November 10, 2020.
The story is a very touching story of love after a great loss and trusting in something bigger that yourself. You never know what is waiting right around the corner, even in the midst of tragedy.
I was given the opportunity of reading an advanced copy of Jennifer Spredemann’s story ‘An Unexpected Christmas Gift’, one of the stories included in the Amish Christmas Miracles Collection’ releasing November 10, 2020.
This was my first short story from this author.
A lovely story, I had to keep reading to find out what was going to happen. I loved the way it was written with spiritual messages in between the lines. Bring you back to a simpler time. Thank you for this opportunity to read a wonderful story. I am looking forward to reading more from this author
A CHRISTMAS TO TREASURE by RACHEL J. GOOD
I had the please of reading A CHRISTMAS TO TREASURE, a novella by Rachel J. Good. What a wonderful story, it will have your emotions on a roller coaster ride. I didn’t want to put it down.
This is the story of Joshua and Rose and Joshua’s children . Rose has always had feelings for Joshua and when his sister asks Rose if she will consider marrying Joshua to help raise his children, she does agree. She understands that this will be a marriage in name only as Joshua’s wife only passed away a short time before. She hopes that one day he will feel for her like she feels for him.
Life is a bit hard on Rose, she works real hard to be a good wife to Joshua, he sometimes hurts her feelings and she works hard to be a good Mamm to his children. His oldest daughter Hannah resents Rose for coming in to be the new Mamm.. Rose is kind, compassionate and patient to all of the children. Life is hard and though Rose is saddened, she never shows it.
Christmas time arrives and a near tragedy happens and life changes for the better for Joshua, Rose and the children. A truly wonderful read !!!!
I just read A Gift Worth Waiting – Tracy Fredrychowski, it is truly a gift worth waiting for! I just read it this afternoon an d could not put it down. The characters are so relatable and real. So much packed into a short story, I just loved this beautiful story!
I was given an ARC of Laura Bradford’s A Christmas Program that will be included in the collection.
I found myself inspired by the wonderful real-life characters (a teacher and the brother of one of her student’s) that make up the story as they work together to help a young Amish girl overcome her shyness to take part in the annual Christmas Program.
I found myself wanting to continue the story to know what happens next!
I happily received an ARC copy of Laura Bradford’s story The Christmas Program. Once again Laura Bradford captures and touched my heart when reading The Christmas Program!
I absolutely loved the characters and adored the sweet student Emily. You will all enjoy this wonderful story.
I have only read The Amish Author’s Christmas from this set, and was given a copy of the book for an honest review. I love Amish stories, and this one was no exception. The premise of this story was different than most Amish romances in that Ivy finagles her way into staying with an Amish family for a few days, which turns into a few weeks including Christmas. The family’s son, Isaiah, becomes attracted to Ivy, and there is an HEA, but this book contains so much more. Ivy does not have any family left, so being part of Isaiah’s family at Christmastime is very special to her. Also, living with an Amish family provides an opportunity for Ivy to examine her own relationship with God and figure out what is lacking. It’s a good story, and a fun book to read.
I received this book as an Arc from the author. I’m writing a review because I honestly loved it! I’ve read several books about the Amish religion. I thought these 14 stories were interesting and informative. They are uplifting and I’m sure they will be a great inspiration for a great Holiday season. It’s a nice relaxing read. Highly recommended!
I read Ashley Emma’s story, An Amish Author, as an ARC. This was a great story! Ivy is an orphan living in NY, and is an author. Her agent tells her her latest book stinks, and she needs to get away and find something new to write. Ivy decides to visit an Amish community. She finds Isaiah and his family. She tells them that she wants to try being Amish. Little does she know how meeting this family is going to change her life!!! I don’t want to give anything away, so all I can say is, if the rest of the stories is as good as this one, this book is a must read!! I know I want a copy!
I had the opportunity to read Christmas To Treasure by Rachel J. Good.
Joshua lost his wife and now he is raising his children all by himself. Joshua and Rose decide to get married. Rose can be a mother to the children and help him take care of the house. Hannah Joshua’s oldest daughter isn’t very happy about the marriage or having Rose as her new mother.
No matter how hard the days are or the situation is Rose doesn’t give up. She keeps fighting even when Joshua keeps hurting her feelings.
I really loved this novella. I didn’t want to put it down, I didn’t even want it to end.
This review is for the novella A Christmas to Treasure by Rachel J. Good. I really enjoyed this story! I could feel Rose’s emotions throughout this entire novella.
As Joshua and Rose decided to marry, it was clear that Rose was going to have some challenges related to Joshua’s oldest daughter, Hannah. I was so impressed by the way Rose related to Hannah and was understanding of the way Hannah was acting, even as Hannah behaved very poorly.
Rose worked hard to be a caring wife and mother and it was hard to see her feelings hurt by Joshua’s actions. Even though, as the reader, I could see why Joshua was behaving as he did, I still felt the pain in my heart as Rose began to feel that there was no hope of ever being loved by him.
I didn’t want to set this novella down. I really liked the way everything began to turn around for these two characters. I would have loved to have seen an epilogue on the end of this story, maybe six months in the future, so that I could see how things were going with these two and if that baby cradle was going to be put to use anytime soon!
I received a complimentary copy of this book. All opinions are my own.
