It starts with a stolen kiss under an English sky, and it ends with a walk down the aisle. It starts with the President sending his best friend to woo me on his behalf, and it ends with my heart split in two. It starts with buried secrets and dangerous desires…and ends with the three of us bound together with a hateful love sharper than any barbed wire.
My name is Greer Galloway, and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States.
This is the story of an American Queen.more
American Queen by Sierra Simone
:
Great Neptune this is by far the hottest book I’ve ever read in my life!
Greer, Ash, and Embry holy guacamole these three (MMF)
Simone’s writing is flawless. The flow, the details, the imagery, the angst; everything was perfect. Absolutely beautiful.
I just can’t say much else without spoiling parts of the plot.
This is book 1 of 3 and there is one helluva cliffhanger (the next 2 are published so you won’t have to wait)

I don’t read a lot of MF romances anymore, but this one came highly recommended and all I can say is wow. This book was amazing, and I can’t wait to read the next book in this series. It’s super sexy, intriguing, and I couldn’t stop reading. And the writing is phenomenal.
[SPOILER] It ended up being MMF, which was SO what I was hoping for, haha.
I fell helplessly in love with Greer, Embry and Ash – even though I don’t often read ‘menage’ or ‘love triangle’ books. This whole trilogy is a GEM.
Read from start to finish in a day because I couldn’t put it down. It is manty melting, ovaries exploding, sob your eyes out in one book.
Seriously all the feels and so hot you will wear out our partner or your toys.
MMF menage, friends to lovers, forbidden, intrigue and part of a series.
I’m one of those gals that waits until a series is complete until I read them. Jana Aston was bugging me for the longest time to “just read it already”! Well, I finally did, and I understand the hype that surrounds the first book in this series. I’m also glad I waited, because hello cliffhanger!! Also, why can’t our President be a hot, charming bi-sexual dominant beast instead of a bloated orange idiot? Maybe I’d be more interested in politics. Anyway, on to Prince!
I can’t remember the last time I was so captivated by a book. This entire trilogy is utterly fantastic. I am so grateful to Sierra Simone for writing it!
Hot. Hot. Man I have been procrastinating New Camelot Trilogy for the longest time. But than it was screaming my name so I gave in and dove in it. Just simply amazing and wow. Sierra Simone Ash, Emry & Greer were absolute delight to watch. Especially the Climax was the best. The whole time the story kept me on the edge. I can’t wait to read more about them in American Prince. Definitely worth more than 5*****
Blew my mind. Wow! Simone has some of the most beautiful, lyrical prose I’ve ever read.
I binged this trilogy over a 2 week period. I was so entranced by the characters of Ash, Greer and Embry and their love triangle. The way Sierra writes these characters was so captivating. Every time I turned the page I just kept wanting more. The use of multiple POV throughout the story is great because you get to see inside all of the characters heads and hearts. I loved how she used the legend of King Arthur to tell the story and give it a modern twist. I liked the use of the political arena as the backdrop to the story. It provided intrigue and thrills. I was emotionally invested in these characters and this story from the first word in book 1 until the final word in book 3. I was really rooting for these characters to get their HEA. After you read American Queen, you’ll immediately want to read American Prince and American King. You won’t be able to put these books down once you get started.
Hmm, this is a weird one. It was hot AF but also kind of boring in places. Greer was on my ever-lasting nerve and I didn’t really care for her character all that much. I liked Ash & Embry alright too but even they got on my nerves.
Parts of this story continued to drag and dragg and draggggg so I skimmed some of it. Will I continue the series? Yes, but not right away.
I am totally late to the game on this series, but I have to say I am VERY excited that I can just move into the next book in the series. This is the first book by Sierra Simone that I have read and holy hotness what have I been waiting for?? This isn’t your typical rich alpha males fall in loves with young naive girl. It’s got mystery and intrigue and HOT HOT HOT sex, but I like that the story line is different and spans years with an age gap. Looking forward to see where book 2 takes me
THISSS BOOOOK. I haven’t truly DEVOURED a book the way I did with this one in awhile, and I was thinking about it for days after I finished. In all honesty, if you’re reading this review, stop and go buy the book instead. ‘American Queen’ is the definition of a smart romance. It’s an intelligent book filled with engaging and equally intelligent characters. The plot is crafted to perfection, and the Arthurian basis mixed with modern politics is a truly unique angle that the author works to its full advantage. It also explores sexuality and dominant/submissive relationships in a way that’s not only passionate but positive, which was something I truly admired and applaud Sierra Simone for capturing. All in all, a truly fantastic read! I can’t wait to get my hands on the next two books.
Not your traditional hero or heroine but the storyline is very engrossing. Could not put it down… went on to read the other books in the series.
This Love Triangle is HOT AF . The little Princess , The little Prince and The King ..
Embry I dont know if I feel sorry for him or if I want to slap him. He could of had him all to himself but he chose not too WHY dammit.
Greer pined for Ash but gave herself to someone to get over him. Now she in love with two men who also love each other.
Ash He loves so openly but married someone to give the world what they want to see. Now hes given himself to two people who could crush him in more ways than one.
Abilene THAT 2 FACED BITCH I FUCKING HATE HER THAT IS ALL BURN IN HELL
“I knew I was destained to be his. There’s no place he can go that I won’t follow, no sacrifice he can demand of me that I won’t give, no part of myself that I won’t offer willingly and completely to him.”
“Its the three of us. Ash stern and powerful, Embary haunted and pale, and me, with bite marks on the inside of my thigh and a hammering heart.”
“Just because you want to forget who you are doesn’t mean the rest of us can forget you.”
“I want a man or woman to claim me as their equal partner in every way- until we’er alone. The I want them to crawl to them.”
“Who needs a ring when I have bite marks? Who needs vows when you’ve literally bled for one another..”
“We will follow you. Be brave and go first, and we’ll follow you.”
WTF, this was an amazing book. I realize that this book isn’t for everyone. It’s erotica with an ongoing plot. The sexy to times get rough and a little brutal at times. A love triangle taken to the next level. My heart aches for Greer and Embry (VP) the most. I can’t wait to get until Ash’s story. This does end on a cliffhanger, but the next book is out (pretty sure the series is complete at this point). There were a couple things that had questioning the authors thought process, but there were times where I wanted to applaud her for the reality of what happens in the bedroom. It’s not always pleasurable, sometimes there is pain first.
Wow. This book is scorching hot and filled with secrets and I loved every second of it! Nobody does erotic romance quite like Sierra Simone. She has an almost magical quality to her writing that totally sweeps the reader away in to the world of the book. I loved the storyline. It was a good quick pace and easy to follow the time jumps. The characters stole my heart and left it aching and wondering what happens next. I can’t wait to read the rest of this series!
I know I am behind and obviously a bit of an idiot for not starting this sooner. I cannot believe I waited 2 whole years to read this while it sat on my kindle. This book is my TOP PICK read for this month and I can’t wait to further this tale with American Prince.
The kink, the passion, the lust and the emotion have all left me breathless. I have fallen madly and hopelessly in love with Greer, Ash and Embry. The tabooness falling over the top because of the political and societal morality aesthetics.
American Queen will caress your heart and soul and leave you panting in it’s wake. If you’re an idiot like me and haven’t read this trilogy, I urge you DO IT NOW!! Download it and start it today!!
I love books that make you question things. To me, this book is all about having the strength to be painfully honest with oneself, even when what you want goes against cultural norms. On its face, Sierra Simone’s book is a modern, kinky reinvention of the love triangle of King Arthur – Guinevere – Lancelot. However, she takes that premise and flies with it in language that is so beautiful and literary, it spoke to the logophole in me!!!! A fantastic read!
The New Camelot series tackled the legend of King Arthur in a cleverly crafted literary piece, with contemporary characters, in a kinky relationship, who revolved in parallel social circles and positions, had the same nemeses, all them cleverly named.
I devoured the words like I was starved, tasted bitter with the sweet, savored the nourishment and swallowed the juices, choked on ugly tears and swallowed happy ones.
I loved this series
