I’ve been many things.I’ve been a son and a stepbrother. An Army captain and a Vice President. But only with him am I a prince. His little prince.Only with Maxen and Greer does my world make sense, only between them can I find peace from the demons that haunt me. But men like me aren’t made to be happy. We don’t deserve it. And I should have known a love as sharp as ours could cut both ways.My … ours could cut both ways.
My name is Embry Moore and I serve at the pleasure of the President of the United States…for now.
This is the story of an American Prince.
This is the second book in the American Queen Trilogy

What did I just read? This story will definitely have you on the edge, gripped up until the end. You’ll wonder WHAT?!?! Holy sh@t! Did that just happen? I need book 3 NOW!!! As sexy, and heart tugging this journey is, it’s equally as angsty and plot twisting that you won’t be able to put it down. I highly recommend this trilogy!
Holy heck this series has completely grabbed me and I feel obsessed with Embry, Ash, and Greer! I have devoured books 1 and 2 of this series in 2 days and running for book 3, American King, right now! This series although hot and steamy, is full of emotions and pull you right in to feeling the hurts and desires of the characters!!! If you not not read the New Camelot Trilogy, then you are definitely missing out on one heck of a series!
The New Camelot series only gets better in American Prince! The M/M romance makes me gush and spoiler alert…there’s even more steaminess to feed your MMF obsession!
This story picks up from the ending of American Queen and the capture of the First Lady, Greer! I loved this story so much because of the romance between Ash and Embry. I revel in the flashbacks to the start of Ash and Embry’s first meeting in the war and how their desire for one another grows into the love they share in the present.
As like any other president in office, problems arise and secrets are brought to the surface to be revealed in the public eye. However, Embry’s got a few that need to remain hidden.
I am so in love with this trio’s love story and a part of me wants to hold off on reading American King, but I know I can’t. I need to feed my mind with everything Embry, Ash and Greer!!!
This trilogy is captivating and wonderful. I highly recommend this modern adaptation of the Camelot legend.
OMG.. I thought I loved American Queen, but American Prince surprised me. I loved every single word from Emry’s POV. Sierra has definitely brought me over to the dark side and there is no turning back from there. Now to continue on to American King! Thank you again for another wonderful story and characters.
OMG!!! This series is incredible and I am sorry that I waited so long to finally read it. It plays out like a movie in my head as I am reading, which to me is the sign of a very well written book. I love the dynamic between Ash, Embry and Greer, I always thought Ash was my favourite ,but after gaining some insight into Embry in this book, I might be #TeamEmbry. I can’t wait to see how this all plays out in book 3.
Enjoyed this book the hero a “tortured being” of his own making; couldn’t wait to read the final book “American King”
This book breaks my Heart I just dont know why Embry just doesn’t give into Ash. Ash loves him. I mean deeply in love with him. So sad he listens to Merlin and denies himself happiness. Ash would leave everything for Greer and Embry these 3 are meant to be together. Morgan I want to kill her for her doing ok maybe not kill but Im hurt for Ash and for Lyr raised never knowing who his parents are even though it is hard to tell. Merlin aahhh I think hes Ashes Dad and the secrets are pissing me off..Abilene the hate I have for her I hope she gets hers
“I’ve never thought about hurting people the way. I think about hurting you”
“It means I’m the man right now, and you’re the woman. And since this is a waltz, pretend you have a ball gown and you just found out your husband is sleeping with the nanny.”
“My monster has no concern, my monster has no compassion. He has only need.”
“I can sleep anytime. Getting to see you safe in my arms.. I needed that more than I needed a few hours of sleep.”
Another cliffhanger ending, but oh, that ending. I don’t normally do angsty or dark, but this series is just sucking me in. I keep thinking this is the time I finally get caught reading at work. The secrets, lies, revelations, twists, and turns. Primarily thru Embry’s eyes, we do get chapters from Greer’s POV. The book picks up where American Queen left off.
This story. This amazing, all consuming, epic, poetic, raw story is tearing my heart out! The secrets and the betrayals are killing me. Every word is tearing me open. The pain the characters are going through I can physically feel inside me. Everything about this book is perfect. The heat is scorching my kindle. The danger has me holding my breath. I can’t wait to see how Sierra Simone plays this story out! I am loving it so hard!
It’s so cool when a retelling can feel so original, and SS’s modern and kinky take on the “Camelot” legend is incredibly unique and satisfying.
This is only the second time I’ve read a book with MM. The first time I didn’t enjoy it because the relationship didn’t feel real to me, however, the love and pain that Ash and Embry feel for/cause to each other is intense and I believed/enjoyed the sex more because of it. Although the sex scenes are an integral part of these books, the plot is so fantastically crafted and woven, that if you are not into reading graphic sex you can still enjoy them (in my opinion.) I love Sierra’s voice
10 Royally Screwed Up & Phenomenal Stars!!!!!!!
Holy shit! I just don’t know how I’m going to write this review since my mind is completely blown right now but Jesus Christ, that ending was just unbelievable..unexpected..unforgettable..unimaginable..unreal..just all the words using the ‘un’ prefix in the dictionary! When a book leaves me blabbering like an incoherent idiot, that’s how you know it was a fanfuckingtastic book.
Sierra Simone cranked up the heat in Embry’s book. Good Lord, were him and Ash scorching hot together, like so hot that I thought my Kindle would melt right along with them.
But Embry, my poor sweet and tortured Embry… he was the real hero in this book. All he has ever done is make sacrifices for Ash, which Ash never wanted him to do in the first place, but Embry loved him so much that there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t be willing to sacrifice because he knew Ash was meant to be something great.
“Why is it always me who’s asked to give give give until I have nothing left?”
Embry was constantly beating himself up, thinking he was always the bad guy, always selfish and hurting Ash, but really he wasn’t any of those things. He was selfless and his love for both Ash and Greer has no bounds. The things he was willing to do and the lengths he was prepared to go were limitless, just as long as he could keep protecting the two people he loved most…and we find out right at the very end, the very last couple of pages, exactly what he was protecting Ash from which was absolutely shocking. Ugh, now I have to get through the rest of spring and then summer for American King to be released in the fall. This is going to be a long and torturous wait.
CAN’T WAIT TO FINISH!!
Aaannnnnddddd the plot thickens. My heart aches for all the missed connections and sacrifices the characters have. This love triangle is complicated and all encompassing. The story continues and I can’t wait for Ash’s POV.
I’m broken. I’m dying. This book tore my heart in two and I don’t know if I’ll ever be okay.
I loved Emery’s story. I loved his selflessness, the way he loved Greer and Ash with everything he was and the way he would do anything to protect them. I loved his selfishness, the way he fought for what he wanted even as he gave in. And I’m absolutely dying inside with just that tiny little glimpse of what Ash was truly feeling. I don’t know how I’m going to make it through American King without being completely gutted. But here I go. Wish me luck.
Blown away, mind blown, gutted…just a few of the feels going on right now after finishing this. Part 2 in the New Camelot Trilogy lets you know lots of history, what happens after American Queen, and leaves you desperate to find out how this story concludes. I’m between tears and a racing heart, and I am ecstatic that as soon as I finish writing this, I can jump into to the last book. Sierra Simone is a goddess with words and feels and everything else in between.
Sierra you did it! OMG I feel like I was on a rollercoaster ride of emotions since I read American queen and now American Prince… from Ember side of story, I can feel the love, heartache, jealousy, lust, anger, secret, selfish… selfless, sacrifice..hidden…. i dont even have a word to describe how complex it is.. I love the way the story goes, seductive, enchanting, details and yet its very vivid real how much they love and passion each other…
Oh, man! What an addictive story!!
Getting Embry’s POV of his past with Ash and their present ongoing story with Greer was fabulous. His and Ash’s relationship is just as sexy and heart pounding as what they share with Greer. Damn! This was HOT!!
OH. MY. GOODNESS. ME!! What a scorcher of a read!!! Yet again Sierra Simone has slayed me with this, and I thought I was blown away with American Queen – you need to read this!!!!
I can’t believe I have to wait for another book to come out before I know how this trilogy ends – its gonna kill me!!!
When you start reading a trilogy, you can generally get a gist of how and in which direction the story is going to go – erm, no, not with this – this ended up going in a completely different direction to what I thought it would, making it all that more of an exciting read for me!! This was so much more than what I was expecting!!
American Prince is told mostly from Embrey’s POV (American Queen was from Greer’s POV), and the story is set both in the present and also in the past, as we learn just what happened between Embrey and Ash whilst they were soldiers, what happened with Embrey and Greer when they met, and how all three fight to be together now. These characters are amazing and complex, and my heart literally hurt for them. They have all been through so much, as yet still have so much more to battle through.
Such a brutal and beautiful story of love, lies, secrets, passions, sacrifice, heartbreak, dominance and submission – a completely unconventional story, a triad, a beautiful and brutal read, full of emotions – I felt like I had been through a grinder at the end of such an epic story!! Completely and utterly captivating, stunning, gut wrenching, tear jerking and so erotically hot it will melt your panties straight off!! The love scenes are scorching, but be warned these scenes contain BDSM, M/F, M/M, M/F/M and they will blow your mind!!
I simply cannot wait for the last book in this series!! These books have made Sierra a one-click author for me – you will be captivated by her unique story telling talents!!!
What can I say…Sierra Simone…You did it again! The first chapter alone gave me Goosebumps! You thought American Queen was epic, wait until you read American Prince. I love how the Author pulls you out of your Reality bubble to escape to another World all its own in this Love Triangle. The book was/ is better than the first and Embry brings you to his world through his eyes and it’s such an emotional Rollercoaster Ride that you do not want to get off! Every Up Climb brings you down to a Plunge then right back up again and then a Real Sharp Turn that takes your Breathe away! It is like that throughout this second installment of this Trilogy I Ever Experienced in a series! It makes you want to embrace the love, passion and the emotional torture that Embry brings to life in this book! The Sex scenes in here are so Hot and leaves you Breathless & Bothered….you just need to walk away for some much needed air (giggling) and then run back to see what happens next.
Sierra Simone….You out did yourself in this book and I love & hate you right now! I am so emotionally drain and a Blubbering mess, plus I cannot Breathe!!! And I cannot wait for the third & final book of this series!!….
American Prince is by far My Favorite of the two!! A Must Read!!
