AmaraHe took me.Kept me as his own– his plaything, his woman to toy with and torture whenever he felt like it.I’ve been trapped within these four walls for over a year. The slowest most agonizing year of my life. I begged for him to kill me, yet he wouldn’t. You know why? Because he had too much fun with me. That’s what he said. It’s what he always said– how much he enjoyed it all. There came a … enjoyed it all.
There came a point when I thought it would never end . . . but it did.
Dante
My cousin Eduardo pulled her from the clutches of a monster. I don’t call him that lightly. In our business we’ve seen many who are animals in suits. However, this man . . . he is among the most vile.
I knew the moment she walked through my father’s estate how she fancied my cousin. He even mentioned to me how she flirted with him a couple times before she was taken.
I knew the woman had been through hell, and yet I didn’t care.
I saw the spark in her eye when she looked at my cousin, and I hated him for it.
A mere glance, and I craved her more than any drug.
She doesn’t know it, but she will be mine.

This is the 12th book in this amazing series, and what a tale this is! Amara has been kidnapped and tortured for a year while her family search for her. When she is rescued by Dante and Eduardo there is a bond which develops between her and Dante, and which grows from strength to strength, while he will protect her by any means necessary. This is a beautifully written story which is an emotional roller coaster throughout and kept me on tenterhooks. This story is raw and gritty and an all-round powerful tale. I cannot wait to read more from this author and I highly recommend her work for all MC lovers.
At nine months pregnant Amara couldn’t believe she was finally rescued from the psycho who had kidnapped her. Over a year ago she had endured abuse of being tortured, beaten and raped. Now she had to decide whether to keep the baby or give it up for adoption.
Dante had helped rescue Amara. He knew she was the one. The strong beautiful woman with flaming red hair had stolen his hear. He only hoped in time that she would feel the same way.
Thank you Booksprout and the author for a complimentary copy in exchange for my honest opinion.
Honestly I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Amara’s story. I’ll be honest I didnt like her in the least in the previous books so I never thought I would feel for her or empathize with her character but I did. This story just goes to show what a great storyteller Elizabeth Knox is. I cant wait for more from her.

Fantastic Story…

Sometimes you can’t help who you fall for and he’ll definitely fell off a cliff.
But now he’ll need all the luck he can muster if he has any hope to win her over and he doesn’t plan on losing even if she drives him completely insane by the end.
Amara is a strong woman who’s been kidnapped, tortured and still hanging on until one day she gets rescued. Drama, action, suspense, steam and really good.
The story I’ve been waiting for-Amara, who’s been missing for a year, has been found. The condition she’s in, well, it’s a heartbreaker. She’s always been strong, and wants her family to see her that way so she needs time to heal. Her attraction to Dante Lopez cannot be denied, and we are introduced to Dante’s familia in Mexico. Intense story, with some healing closure.

An outstanding story about strength, perseverance, growth, and of course unconditional love. This book has the perfect amount of darkness, suspense, intrigue, and sweetness. Can’t wait to see what comes next from Ms. Elizabeth Knox.
Amara was so flipping fantastic. Liz did so so so good with her story. If you have read previous Reapers stories, you will know who Amara is. No one really knows who she is under the facade she keeps up. It has been a year since she has been kidnapped, and she thinks she will never be saved. When Eduardo finds out where she is m, he enlist Dante’s help and the rest of the guys to save her. Dante doesn’t know who she is, but the first time he sees her, there is a pull he feels. He will do whatever it takes to protect her. You do not want to miss out on this one. There will be some surprises that will pop up. See how one man gives help and kindness to a woman who doesn’t think she deserves it. Will she open up her heart or will everything that happened be too much for her?
This a great continuation of the Reapers MC. I love it , it gets better with each story of the series.
She’s been thur hell on earth and held by the devil himself. She doesn’t think she’ll live to ever get away and return to her family. He is a true sociopath. She’s been with him, as his prisoner for over a year and has endured torture that no one should.
He’s asked to help find her after his family member was killed trying to help her. When he first see’s her he thinks she is beautiful, even covered in filth. He decides that she is going to be his, no matter what , and goes about showing her he means business. He has to prove that he can both protect her and let her breath at the same time.
They find that they love each other and are working on being there for each other. They have a deep love that a lot of people don’t understand or see. They are the same.
Amara is book 12 in the amazing Reapers MC series written by the talented author Elizabeth Knox. I was looking forward to read Amara’s story and I’ve to say that the author did an outstanding job, you will not be disappointed. Join Amara and Dante in a journey of self discovering, sacrifices, secrets, family and love! NO Spoilers here!! This book is filled with action, drama, suspense, great suffering, revenge, passion, sexy cartel members, strong family values and a happy ending. Can’t wait for more in this series!

This is Book 12 of the “Reapers MC” series and Elizabeth Knox continued to draw me right into this series! This was a book that was well worth the read with the strongly developed characters and a plot that flowed smoothly from page to page! I was so invested as the journey between Amara and Dante unfolded that I ended up reading this book in one sitting!
I have been awaiting Amara’s book since the events that took place in Dixon’s book. I can honestly say that my waiting has been rewarded with the awesomeness of Amara and Dante’s story. Their story is full of emotions. Seeing Amara at her weakest definitely shows that she’s every woman thrown into these situations. I’m excited to see what Elizabeth has up her sleeve next.
Amara by Elizabeth Knox was one of the best books I have read this year. This is the twelfth book in the Reapers MC series. This book had me laughing, crying, angry, wanting to hurt someone. I had all the feels. This book has drama, heat, angst, action, suspense, romance, MC, revenge, secrets. The book is well written and has very likeable characters. I did not want to put the book down. I can’t wait for the next book in this series. I highly recommend this book.
Loved it, not what I expected at all, so much better.
Amara taken tortured and violated for a year, finally gets rescued.
You will cry, and rant over her pain. The B***** is what some call her because of how strong she is and doesn’t let her emotions rule her. Now though she has changed she has become stronger by surviving the horror of her captivity.
Join Amara on this quest of living again, no just surviving.

I’ve been so anxious for Amara’s story. I wondered if true justice could ever be done for her and I have to say I’m COMPLETELY THRILLED with the way Elizabeth Knox told Amara’s story. She has been through h*ll and back and when she was taken it only got worse. She was finally rescued thanks to Eduardo and Dante and that’s when every single thing I’ve wanted for Amara began. This book is loaded with excitement, tragedy, angst, action, loyalty and love. It’s a beautiful journey for Amara and Dante and another incredible read in this Reaper family.
Finally got to read Amara’s book. When they finally find her she’s in bad physical shape. Dante is becoming attached to her and she is relying on him for help. Lots of emotions at play in this book. HEA.
I loved Amara’s story. My heart broke for her and everything she had been through over the year she has been missing. She had to make a tough decision and I think she handled it very well given the circumstances. With the new changes to the Reapers I can’t wait to see what happens next!
If you’re of the mindset that everyone deserves a second chance, then you might want to avoid the first part of my review. Let me begin by telling you what I’ve thought about Amara in the previous books: I HATED HER! Seriously, hated this chick. If she fell off the book planet—the book planet would rejoice. It’s almost like she exists to bring misery into other people’s world because she’s selfish and self absorbed. The world owes her nothing and yet, she doesn’t deserve to be redeemed or anywhere close to being relatable. Fret not, she’s still not truly relatable. However, there’s something different this time around.
*SPOILER ALERT*
Amara falls in love.
Shocking. Well, they say there’s always someone out there for you. I wasn’t sure if Lucifer would’ve been good enough for this chick. She’s not evil in that sense, but she’s selfish and self absorbed. Amara has hurt people and really not thought too much about it. If she has, well it’s more of an afterthought.
Fret not, little Ms. Amara has been brought to her knees literally and otherwise. She’s been treated like the trash you’ve expected her to be. However, I will say that just because she’s rotten in some ways—-she doesn’t deserve half of the hell given to her at the hands of Lucien. In order for her to find love, and a man strong enough to handle her butt, she needed to go down this path. Strange, but true.
However, Amara and Dante’s story opens up a completely new (“old”) world that I can’t wait to read about in the future. Woohoo!! Overall, I loved the story telling. I’m not sure I really like Amara, but that’s okay. Dante more than makes up for his “lady love.” If you want a fantastic read, what are you waiting for reader? Buy and enjoy the book!! Plus, you get to see Amara’s family all together (sort of) and it’s kind of interesting in a dysfunctional “Married With Children” kind of way. Plus, this book quotes Pablo Escobar. Hello? Who has the guts to do that? I’ll tell you—Elizabeth Knox!! Yes, I bought the book as well!
There is so much more to Amara then any of us realized and we finally get her story. After being kidnapped a year ago she lost all hope in getting out but now that she is free will she be able to readjust and finally be happy??
