To Samantha Christensen, Lucas Hunter was always the guy—the sexy, smart and unattainable man she pined for throughout college. To Lucas, she was a treasured friend, a younger sister he felt the need to protect. She had a choice—to wait and hope, or to settle.
When they meet again years later, Lucas looks at Samantha and sees a woman he wants—even though she’s not free to take. As they renew … they renew their friendship he finds he’s falling hard, and can’t accept any less than all of her.
Samantha realizes there’s hope with Lucas. Will she finally have a chance to be happy with the man she’s always loved, or will obligations and insecurities stand in their way?
Can Samantha and Lucas convince each other that they belong together? That it was Always You?

I am a sucker for second chance romances, and Always You delivered a wonderful and memorable story!
Lucas and Sam… They had met shortly before Sam started college, where Lucas worked as a student advisor. Years later, her unrequited crush was moving across the country and she had to move on. And she did, ending up with a jerk of a husband and …
It was my first read by this author and I already know that it won’t be my last one! I really loved and enjoyed this one. At times I really had to get my emotions in check ‘cuz I just wanted to smack someone upside the head when reading; you’ll have to read it to know what I mean! Will definitely have a look at the other books in this …
What a great find!!!! I got this as a free book, and all I can say is wow!!! I love this type of story. Samantha and Lucas have stolen my heart. I’m sure people may say it is taboo the way that Samantha and Lucas flirted and fell for each other while she was still married, but once they read the story they will give Samantha a high five. The story …
You’re my favorite part of every day.
Never would I have guessed that this was Stephanie’s debut novel. I was hooked! I love that this is the story of Joe from No Vacancy’s parents… yeah I read out of order but it was totally fine.
Lucas is a true Superman to his girls, and Samantha is a sweetheart who doesn’t see what she is actually worth …
Always you is a charming second chance, friends to lovers story. Sam is going off to college so her friend introduces Sam to her cousin, Lucas. Lucas is an upperclassman at the same school. When she asks him to watch out for Sam, he agrees. Lucas is handsome, charismatic, and thoughtful and Sam has an instant crush on him. Lucas thinks she is …
I really loved Sam and Lucas. I still can’t get over Stephanie Rose’s writing. This woman is dangerously talented. And it was her first ever book, right? Damn, that’s crazy. Okay, I need the next one!
Sweet second chance story. Lucas Hunter is dreamy and swoon-worthy. Samantha Christiansen is beautiful inside and out with a cute little girl that deserves better than what life has handed her. I love the maturity of the characters, the no-nonsense drama and the easy flow of the story. Always You is a charming, enjoyable read.
A very sweet second chances romance. I really liked Sam, Lucas and Bella. Such wonderful characters with so much heart and love. I had some trouble connecting with Sam and Lucas. I felt I was missing more build up to their relationship. Some more wooing and courting but maybe that’s just me. Sam was one strong kick ass woman who doesn’t talk crap …
So much to say about Always You by Stephanie Rose! When I discovered it was Stephanie’s debut book, to say I was blown away would be putting it mildly. There is so much truth to this story – and I love the realness of it. I don’t think I’ve ever been so excited to message an author and gush over a book in my life.
4.5 stars .. You must meet #TheAnchor

“But I meant what I said. I got a second chance with you, and I want ‘more’ with you know. I want it so much.”
What a lovely debut novel, about second chances and finding your true love.
I’m guessing a lot of us have a Lucas Hunter in our live, I know I do. Someone we always crushed on, who we always harbored a secret desire for, but never …
