“Always With You is the bittersweet and poignant love story of a woman trapped between temptation and the ties that bind.” ~Tracey Garvis Graves, New York Times bestselling author of On the Island and Covet. With Cathy’s health food café thriving, a loyal circle of friends, and a heartbreaking divorce behind her, she has finally found contentment along the summer shores of the Russian River in the … shores of the Russian River in the California Wine Country of 1977.
Cathy still keeps men at arm’s length, safe from the temptation of love and all of its painful consequences. But when an old high school friend, Pam, brings her family for a short stay, Cathy’s stone walls begin to crumble when she meets Jamie. Jamie, whose compassion and warmth slowly break down her defenses. Jamie, whose devotion to his four-year-old daughter melts Cathy’s heart and makes her desperate for a family of her own. Jamie… who is married to Pam.
Cathy never imagined that she would fall in love with a married man.
Jamie never imagined he would do anything to compromise his honor.
But a love powerful enough to transcend time, place, and even death, forces them to question the values they hold dear. Always With You is a profound and bittersweet tale that asks: What would you do if love was the last thing you were looking for, but exactly what you find? And how do you make a choice when every road leads to a broken heart?

I enjoyed reading this book until the end. I think they could have ended it better but her meeting someone new or Jamie coming back to her. That was not my idea of a happy ending.
Great book with some twists and turns. It kept me up too late at night!
The characters kept hold of me, I had to read more, skip the tv, give me My book!
Quirky, funny, entertaining, and oh so close to home.
Normal time for casual readers is 7hr, i had eaten it up in 2.5 hr. It really is that much of a page turner.
Everone has to have family members like these chatacters are, you will regret not reafomg it. It …
I think this will always be my favorite love story. It stays with you long after you finish the last page!
Good story, I don’t read a lot of romance but, for some reason this book grabbed me and I read it very quickly. Loved the ending.
Would have been better if temptation was resisted throughout.
unrealistic
Star crossed lovers w/ real life issues. This makes the reader weight duty vs. following your heart. If you like Nicholas Sparks’ reads, you’ll enjoy this one.
The story line had an interesting premise. The characters written with a set personality and in a way never evolved. Two high school friends connect by one moving her family into the others house while her husband is looking for a job in wine country in California. Sparks fly with husband and lady of the House. Too many almosts. Totally not …
These two women acted like they were in high school. The plot line was all over the place – the chapters redundant. I thought upon the reading the beginning it may be about an older woman. The ending was abrupt as if the author got tired of writing.
A nice story showing the inside workings of owning a little restaurant and B&B.
It was a story of reconnecting with old friends and how it doesn’t always work how you want it to. But, riveting..had to keepreading to see what happened.
I really loved this book. How will it end was always on my mind. And the ending was very special.
Loved this many emotional ups and downs
Cried like a baby when I read this. I so wished the ending was different
Loved this book. It’s a little different than most.
Keep tissues close , you will need them . I love this book .
A little slow but enjoyable.
A very feel good book.
Interesting story, but it was too sappy for me.
Exhausting … Dialogue that goes on and on ..too much verbage
