Selene Taylor is the first to admit her dating life is a disaster. She has a weakness for the wrong men—bad boys with bodies to drool over and attitudes like they’re God’s gift to women. But her professional life? It’s right where she wants it.Until her company is bought out by a man from her past, and she finds herself with a sexy new boss.Ronan Maddox doesn’t just play the game. He wins. He’s an … the game. He wins. He’s an adrenaline junkie who lives for the thrill of the chase. But he flirts with more than danger when he discovers one of his new employees is the one woman who still haunts his dreams.
Another bad boy is the last thing Selene needs, and Ronan’s reputation is well-earned. But as soon as he sees her, he knows what he wants, and he’ll stop at nothing until she’s his.
Selene is a risk, but risks are what Ronan lives for.

Selene and Ronan had a one night stand and years later Ronan takes over the company that Selene works for and they still have chemistry. I loved watching their story unfold and the challenges they had of being boss and employer. It was another great read/listen from Claire. Stephanie and James did a good job with the narration.
Bonus Audio of Always Ever After continuing Kylie and Braxton’s from Always Have book one in the series. I really enjoyed this bonus novella.
Claire Kingsley “Always Will” follows the book “Always Have” and focuses on Selene. This is an office romance, and a little bit of a second chance romance. Ronan was a guy from her past who is now her new boss. He was quite the character and made me laugh so much. He is very blunt and forward and says exactly what he wants. He has a traumatic past involving a car accident that leaves him chasing an adrenaline high, anything to make him feel alive. He gets Selene involved in skydiving. I like that it was something he got her into but was something they could enjoy. Their chemistry was on fire. Ronan has to decide if he is too afraid from his past to be in a relationship or if being with her means he finally found something that makes him feel alive that does not have the threat to kill him.
I wasn’t sure how to feel about Selene after book 1 of the series; yet after Always Will, I absolutely love her. We get to see another side of her that you didn’t know existed. She was a sassy and driven individual who could never seem to find the right guy. And just when Selene finally thinks she has found a nice and good guy to date…….we meet Ronan: her new boss and a previous one-night stand, who throws everything for a loop. They didn’t leave that night on the best of terms, so seeing each other again was quite the shock. They obviously still had an attraction for one another, but she has a no dating co-workers policy. But that wasn’t going to stop Ronan. Loved the aggressive flirtation from Ronan to Selene, as I enjoyed seeing her get all flustered. She needed to let loose and live a little, and Ronan was able to break through those walls and help her do that.
I liked this book. I felt it was a great sequel to the first book, Always Have, yet was a complete standalone. I liked the characters and their first (second?) meeting. I liked Selene’s need to find a man that challenged her and set her heart on fire, rather than settling for a man who “on paper is perfect.” Selene was a great addition to the book; and I was really invested in her HEA. This book did her justice. Ronan was a great alpha bad boy and (maybe) an adrenaline junkie. The reader’s introduction to this character is perfect for his personality traits. The writing was great, filled with action, romance, and provocative situations. The book was also incredibly funny in the great: you know that characters are perfect for each other way. The way Claire Kingsley writes her characters, she adds a great amount of respect for the readers and for the characters themselves (Selene and Ronan have a lot of respect for each other and I find that refreshing and rare in books). I loved the Ronan’s dedication to pursue of the Selene and his need to have her. I liked his “take no prisoners” attitude; it was done with gusto but respect. There was 30 chapters and an epilogue; with dual narration, and no spelling/grammar errors. The epilogue was amazing and really ended the story perfectly.
Now here we have Selene, the twin sister of my favorite hero, Braxton. Selene is happy for her brother, and her best friend Kylie, but it also reminds her of how lonely she feels. She’s left wondering if she will ever find love. Enters Ronan, a previous hook up and now her boss–complications much?! Saying that sparks fly between the two of them is an understatement. With Ronan’s cocky mouth and Selene’s sassy mouth, I’m surprised my Kindle didn’t burst into flames!! Selene’s intelligence and beautiful brain really impressed me. This is yet another good book by one of my favorite contemporary romance authors!
