Julie Legg thought she would marry hot country singer Paul Hoffman until every news outlet in the country reported on his numerous infidelities. In the span of a few weeks, she became the center of the latest scandal. As she tries to pick up the pieces of her heart and lick her wounds, she meets Ian Porter, newest sexiest man alive, Golden Globe and Emmy Award winning actor, and perfect guy with … with a knight in a shining armor syndrome. Loving him should be easy—except Julie is confused by her feelings for her best friend, Ryan Marley, Oscar-worthy actor, who needs her in his spiraling downfall.
Julie: He’s the newest Sexiest Man Alive. I’m the most cheated-on woman in Hollywood, and my life is a PR nightmare. It can’t work.
Ian: All I want is a chance to show her that I am what she needs. I’ve waited for years, and I won’t give up, even if it means being tangled in all her drama. Some women are worth the wait.
This book contains explicit mature content and language and is intended for adults ages 18+.
Warning: The perfect guy comes with a pinch of kink, and the heroine could be seen as difficult and lost. Swearing is a must and being a mess is a prerogative — midlife crisis in progress.

WOW, this was a wild ride through Hollywood.
The debut novel by Gabrielle G. is a rollercoaster of emotions, heartbreaks and unpredictable situations. I would also describe it as chaotic actions that are followed by more drama and more heartbreaks
You’re transported into a world of the rich and famous, whose lifes are really strange and complicated. Not only because they are constantly followed by reporters and fans, their life being a public knowledge, but also their insecurities who they can trust or who only wants a piece of the good famous cake
Julie, oh Julie…this women is so annoying sometimes, that you want to strangle her constantly She is the one who got hurt badly at the beginning and tries to find her way back to herself.
The only problem is, she doesn’t really know what she wants .
This constant back and forth, back and forth, can really make you scream .
Then we’ve two very different men in her life. One of them is her best friend and one that waited a long time to have a chance to be more than friend. A really complicated triangle “friendship” which brings even more problems to the already very painful situation.
In short, I loved this book and enjoyed it very much
I recommend this book to all the romance with drama, passionate “love” and big HEA lovers.
Always and Only. What can I say about this book… I loved that it was a story touching on something different like addiction which made the story more genuine. Right amount of grit and emotion without making it boring and sexy scenes I loved how Julie managed to find someone special in the midst of having already suffered heartache and a lot of self doubt about herself. Ian is the handsome Hollywood bachelor that thought he was immune to finding someone he could love the way he loved them after again being heartbroken. True love never runs smooth
Omg how many times can my heart break while reading a book?? I didn’t actually count but it was A LOT! I actually feared for the life of my kindle on several occasions. This story was filled with so many laughs, tears and steam there was no way I could put it down. I am totally reading this series out of order because I read book 3-Often & Suddenly first but honestly it doesn’t make a difference. I love the way the characters are introduced and how they intertwine with each other. Now onto book 2 because I need more of these people and sleep is overrated.
4 STARS
What an awesome debut novel from Gabrielle G.! I really enjoyed that the characters were in the over 30 age spectrum. It’s nice to relate to characters in my age group.
The main character, Julie (Jules) is a hot mess due to hitting a low point in her personal life and it doesn’t help that she’s receiving media attention at the same time. I found Jules getting on my nerves throughout the book and I just kept thinking “Get over yourself.” This by no means is a negative factor to the book, but a testament to Gabrielle G.’s writing skill.
Luckily, Jules has her best friend Ryan, who is also part of the Hollywood Industry to help her get out of her funk. This is how she meets Ian, another Hollywood Star, whom she shares overwhelming chemistry with.
All characters are real and flawed, no matter that they should be older and wiser. When it comes to love and friendship, nothing is truly uncomplicated.
Always & Only by Gabrielle G. is a definite MUST read that will join the ranks of the BIBLIO-ELITE!!!
This debut novel of Gabrielle G.’s had me on an emotional rollercoaster from the very beginning.
Poor Julie Legg is the victim of her boyfriend Paul Hoffman’s constant cheating and finally enough is enough. After this last scandal, she’s dejected, humiliated and just needs her best friend, Ryan Marley, to help ease her out of her misery. Only, it’s Ian Porter who comes to her door to pick her up, and she’s keenly aware of their immediate attraction.
Ian was a perfect gentleman in this book. He’s wanted Julie for years now, but just hasn’t had his chance to be with her. Their relationship almost seems doomed before it ever starts. It’s like they just can’t seem to get on the same wavelength.
He discourages her from desperate pity sex, even after she literally begged him that first night. He was super patient with her during the course of this book, at times, with startling surprise. Julie had some flighty and unjustifiable emotional breakdowns, which were frustrating and maddening to say the least. There were times I just wanted Ian to say “this bitch isn’t worth it” and walk away because she put the poor guy through Hell.
Julie wasn’t your typical protagonist, but that’s actually what I liked about this story because it’s super realistic in that we don’t choose who we love and despite how irrational, selfish and ridiculous our emotions are sometimes, we are all worthy of love. And that was Ian with Julie. He forgave her over and over again for her insecure and quirky ways even when she didn’t deserve it. And trust me when I say, she had many moments where she needed to get her head out of her ass! I felt like Ian beat himself up over things that weren’t really his fault, despite how Julie felt on the matter. He was her knight in shining armor for sure, even when this damsel in distress needed a hard reality check.
Ryan was the best friend that tended to flirt with that line and there were times I was sure Julie and Ryan were going to end up together and thought, in fact, that maybe they should… But again, the heart wants what the heart wants. Ryan and Julie’s relationship was both complex and simple in the most beautiful of ways. I felt bad for Ryan in several moments of this book, but also wanted to smack him silly too as he spiraled out of control, wallowing in his own drama. I won’t divulge everything, you’ll just have to read it for yourself 😉
Then there’s Ian’s family, which spun another story all together.
All in all, this was a great read with a fresh take. It was dramatic, sexy and funny! I loved the multiple characters and their stories, and I really liked that the characters were older. I enjoyed this book thoroughly and will definitely be reading book 2- Never and Forever!
Julie Legg has just gotten out of a devastating relationship with a famous country singing star. Not only does she have to get over this. She also has to figure out what she wants. Her best friend Ryan Marley who has his own issues or Ian Porter the heart throb who just so happens to be Ryan’s best friend! One of the many reason I loved this book was because I could relate to it! The character yes maybe be famous but they are in their 40’s! It’s rare a Hollywood romance novel has characters this age. The second reason I loved this book was it didn’t sugar coat how Julie went thru her break up. Break ups are hard, they leave you with issues that the next person has to help you overcome. That’s the hard part trusting someone enough to help you overcome them. That’s real! That’s what this book had! The beaus in this novel were redeeming! Also very hot and steamy! “Do you know how difficult it was to see another man treating you with disrespect? Can you understand how much I’ve wanted you all along?” Ian Porter Can Julie make her decision before Ian gets tired of waiting for her? Pick up this 5 novel and find out!

First off I’d like to say congrats to Gabrielle G for delivering such a strong debut novel. It refreshing to see characters that aren’t the normal 20-30 year olds that I’m used to reading about.
The characters were well developed and I loved Ian and his superhero, knight in shining armour persona. Jules was infuriating but relatable. Her relationship with Ryan is super realistic and I loved how they were together.
A story about love, friendship, betrayal, trust and communication. It was a great read. In all honesty, the whole people grow wiser with age is a load of bs. Lol. These 40 year olds are no better at relationship than the average 20 year old. Lol
I highly recommend Gabrielle’s debut novel to all. This is only the beginning for this author, I look forward to what else she gives us! Great job hun!
**ARC REVIEW**
Congrats to Gabrielle on her debut novel. Loved it!
So many times I wanted to strangle Jules!!! I loved how Gabrielle wrote all the characters, I suppose when you have reactions to characters it’s a really good element.
Jules is distraught after getting the worst news in her personal life. She has her best friend Ryan to lean on. She tries her best to put a brave face and move forward. In the meantime, she meets Ryan’s good friend Ian a handsome Hollywood star.
Ian has always had a thing for Jules but knowing she was in a relationship he respectively backed off. Now is his chance to get Jules back into the dating game and make her realize he is the one for her.
A triangle friendship full of lust, betrayal and the biggest lack of trust. This book has a little of everything you will wanna strangle Jules but like anything else, She needs to come to terms with herself in order to move on…
