College parties, beer, and one-night stands—that was my life. Now, I hunt criminals. Drinking and women are still included, though I can’t seem to forget the underage girl who almost gave me her virginity. I stopped it before it happened and kicked her out. Years later, we’re reunited. She’s no longer underage but still equally off-limits. After ignoring her relentless advances, she wears me … relentless advances, she wears me down. I only have so much willpower when she’s around, which is all the damn time now that we’re roommates. Just when my restraint starts to crumble, my poor choices finally catch up with me, putting us both in danger.
There’s no easy way to explain why I betrayed her, but I’ll do whatever it takes to keep her safe—even if it means breaking her heart.
ALWAYS MINE is book 1 in the Liam & Maddie duet and must be read first.

This was a great series
It was a easy read, but some of the situations were too contrived.
5 STARS
Gah! I love this series SO much! Liam and Maddie are my favourite couple in the roommate series. From the beginning I have been anticipating their story and boy did Kennedy Fox deliver!
Maddie is FIERCE. She may be the youngest of the sisters but she is by far the strongest. I loved her bad ass, take charge, I know exactly what I want and deserve nothing less attitude! She set her sights on Liam from the time she was 19 but he has kept her at arms length due to her age but she never gave up, and now 2 years later she is determined to make him hers.
Liam stole my heart. Everything that man does for Maddie makes my heart flip! His protective, bossy nature I loved!
The banter and the playful jabs at each other I absolutely adored. My heart was swooning one minute and I was laughing out loud the next. Not too mention the suspense, angst and twists and turns! I was on the edge of my seat the whole time!
There are so many incredible things to say about this book, this duet and this entire series. But you HAVE to experience it to truly get it and urge any romance readers out there that adore a slow burn, angsty read to pick this up ASAP. You will not be disappointed. This one ended on a mother of a cliffhanger so be ready to dive into book 2 immediately once it’s finished.
Have too read the entire series. Great reads
I b would recommend this book, but be advised that this is a sequel. Book one ends I n a cliffhanger and is not mentioned when you download book one. The characters are fun, the drama is constant and you get drawn in to the story. There are a few books about the characters that preceedbthis book. So you may want to begin the series with book one.
This was a romantic steamybook read it you will enjoy it. I did. I would probably read it again.
Great story
never finished it .didn’t like the story. sorry
This one got me! My heart physically ached for Maddie in this book. Even when knowing things aren’t always what they seem doesn’t stop the bone deep ache from betrayal. Such a moving book, can’t wait for the ending!
A Disappointing Opening for the Youngest Corrigan Sister…
Unlike the first two duets, which immediately tugged at your heart strings and tore at your soul. “Always Mine”, the first of Kennedy Fox’s third and final Roommates Series duets will set fire to a different set of emotions. Mainly anger, disappointment, and sadness over the many, many naive and selfish mistakes youngest Corrigan sister, Maddie, and relationship allergic bounty hunter roommate Liam, make. Not only with each other, but on their own. And in an odd way, it made this first book of Liam and Maddie’s story difficult to connect with, and for me, difficult to get through without taking long breaks.
I am typically a fast reader and average between three and five books per week. And in general don’t mind a methodical, yet scintillating pace. However this one is not so much a slow burn, as it is a long and emotionally torturous trail. Mainly because of it’s endless, uncomfortable back and forth where you are catapulted between Liam’s endless misguided assumptions and self doubt and Maddie’s obsessive, bordering on self destructive behavior and pursuit of Liam. And if you’re like me, and not a fan of embarking on a mindless series of casual flings for the sake hiding from people and of avoiding reality. Well, getting through the first two thirds of this first book will be tough.
The way Liam deals with the events in his life is careless, bordering on reckless and emotionally abusive at times. The way Maddie pursues Liam, beyond over the top, bordering on obsessive, narcissistic, and self absorbed. The two of them together, honestly, comes across for most of this first book, more like a train wreck than an angsty, unrequited, longing filled love story. Because let’s be honest, there’s a fine line between fighting for love and being obsessively misguided. And this book teeters wildly on that line more times than it should.
As with the first book of Mason and Sophie’s duet, this one too picks up in the last three or so chapters. However, it was honestly the hardest book out of the five so far in this series overall to get through. Hopefully book two of this duet will make up for it and Maddie and Liam’s story will, in the end, tug at my heart they way the other duets have.
Okay guys. I didn’t think I could love a story more than the first duet in this world. But they did it. They did it and I’m dying for the next part.
We finally get it. Liams story guys. I know. I have been waiting for it as long as you have and it was completely worth the wait.
You see into the characters so much in this book. I feel like KF went the extra mile to dive us deep with these two, and it completely adds another level to the reading.
Also, I know I’m babbling I’ve been battling a migraine for a week, and I STILL read this entire book in one sitting. Then I had to get my thoughts down because that ending about killed me.
I am still a bit raged over half the stuff in this book and swooning over the other half. So ya know, typical KF fashion. prepare yourselves and dive it!
I’ve been waiting for this duet since we were first introduced to Liam and Maddie and Kennedy Fox did not disappoint. Holy crap! My emotions are all over the place and I’m trying to form coherent sentences right now, but I just can’t. They are known for their epic cliffy’s with these duets and let me just say… mind.blown!
I loved the back and forth and seeing glimpses into different parts of the same scene from their POV. I am dying for Always Yours!!
I have been patiently waiting for these two since I found out about them in the other books. Maddie and Liam are two amazing characters that I had to read about. Kennedy Fox did not disappoint at all. Hold on to your seats because you go on quite the ride with these two. Rollercoaster of emotions, ups and downs, fighting that I absolutely loved. But what really happens between these two will blow everything out of the water. Liam ends up in Vegas and ends up getting into some trouble. To get out of the trouble and keep all of his family including Maddie safe he has to do something off the wall for him. Something no one believes he would do. But it doesn’t change how he feels. But in the end will it be enough? And the ending to this one really I about fell off the chair I was seating on. I wanted to throw my phone across the phone. So unfair. Just wow. I cant wait to read the next one to see what happens with Liam and Maddie. Will these two get the happy ever after?
3.5 Stars
{I received this as an ARC in exchange for an Honest Review}
I have been so excited for Maddie and Liam’s story since they first appeared in “Baby Mine”. They defiantly have some amazing chemistry that has been shown though out the four previse books in this series and this one as well. I loved Liam and Maddie. They have a good back and forth and I love that Maddie teases Liam all the time. They are so good together but the don’t get together for awhile. Liam does so much stuff that keeps them apart. He pushed her away then gets in some trouble. A lot happens that keeps them apart. This book was just not what I was expecting. It took me over a week to finish it. I found myself reading a couple of chapters then putting it down again. It was good but it was kind of predictable. I was surprised now and then over some things. I think I was just expecting more angst and that slow burning love feeling and I just didn’t get it. I hate that I didn’t love this book as much as I thought I would. I am looking forward to book two. They way this one ended was good. If you like sexy romantic suspense books than you will like this.
I have been anticipating Liam Evans & Madelyn “Maddie” Corrigan’s 4.5 story & it totally took me on one heck of a roller coaster of a ride. After getting snippets in prior books in the series you cannot help but want to know more about their story.
Liam and Maddie has is an intense connection that can be cut with a knife and in turn their relationship is filled that with banter and many frustrating moments. Maddie is constantly pushing his buttons and he can only take so much. Liam is a guy afraid of committing to anyone. No matter how much Maddie insists more…being older and her being a Corrigan sister makes her off limits.
Holy smokes my mind is spinning! Liam is in a predicament that is spiraling out of control and it will cost him everything. I am at a lost and afraid of the outcome. I hesitated reading the last few chapter because I did not want to know how it would end but wanted to know at the same time.
Bonus is seeing moments of the other couples in the series and how far they have come. The tight bond between the Corrigan sisters and how much they can be overprotective with one another.
Kennedy Fox knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat while throwing feels at you at all angles. I soooooo need more and answers stat!
OMG!!!!!!!! Maddie and Liam started with a bang!!! I couldn’t wait for their story and I’m not disappointed at all!!! Maddie always made it very clear to Liam that she wants him. But deep down he wanted her too but was hesitant about relationships because of his upbringing. Maddie banters were so freaking entertaining. I think she’s my favorite Corrigan sister. And who knew about these two history?!?! This was a great surprise and I loved it!!!! It took Maddie LOTS of work to wear down Liam; the boy was made of steel, lol. Then BOOM everything comes crashing down and I have no idea how the outcome of this one would be. I can’t wait to read this conclusion because boy there’s lots of things that needs to be resolved.
What a way to start the new year, with the first part of duet I’ve been waiting for since about forever ago! The chemistry between Liam and Maddie has been undeniable since we met them in the first book of the series (Baby Mine). I loved the fact they’re also good friends, as evidenced by the banter and interactions they share. Not gonna lie about how I got frustrated with Liam at times, some of the antics he pulled were a reason they didn’t get together, but what’s the fun in waiting to see how long it would take for our couple to finally find their way if there’s not some type of roadblocks that take place? Can’t wait to see how their romance will turn out!
The roommate duet everyone has been dying to read! Kennedy Fox does it again. Definitely a must read of 2020!
5 When One Night Changes Their Entire Life Stars!!!
For reasons that you’ll understand when you read this book, this review needs to be short and sweet because there’s so many things that could be given away with just a slip of the tongue.
This is Liam, Hunter and Mason’s best friend, and Maddie’s, the younger sister of Lennon and Sophie, story. These two have been dancing around each other in the previous books and now we know EXACTLY what happened and why there’s so much tension between them….and it’s a doozy!!!
I loved these two together. There were moments in this book that just tore my heart apart, but then Liam with all his swagger, shows who he can really be and I fall in love with him…just like Maddie. But it’s a bumpy road for this couple and to say that not everyone is on board with them being a couple is putting it mildly!
This is a book of second chances and possibly third and fourth chances. There’s a palpable chemistry between Liam and Maddie and they can bicker all they want, but deep down the pull they feel can only be denied so long. Once they give in, all bets are off…. until a moment that had me gasping!!
What a perfect start to this newest duet by Kennedy Fox and I’ll be sitting over here watching the calendar for when the conclusion to this heartfelt and passion filled story!
I’ve been sitting between a 3 and 4 star rating and I think I’ve settled on 3.5 stars. I had a bit of a rough start with it, but in the end I couldn’t put it down.
Always Mine is the first book in the Liam & Maddie duet. While it can be read as a stand-alone, I would 100% recommend reading the prior duets in this series first. I think knowing and loving all the characters in this friend group definitely helped my enjoyment of this book.
Maddie is a hard pill to swallow at times. She’s selfish and honestly a bit annoying in her pursuit of Liam at first. She’s young when the book starts, and she definitely grows up and matures throughout it, but it was hard for me to like her and connect with her at first.
I love Liam, he’s the perfect complex hero. He’s backed himself into this impossible corner and has no way to get himself out. Throughout the book, the hole just keeps getting deeper and deeper for him and I’m scared to see how he’s going to figure it out in book 2.
When Maddie and Liam finally air all their truths and find comfort in each other, I honestly love them together. They’re funny and sexy and I loved even just watching them hang out watching movies together. I need more of that.
The drama surrounding Liam gets a little crazy and convoluted and I can’t wait to see how that all gets resolved in the ending of this duet.
