I do love me some Kelly Elliott cowboys!
When i first read book one i was instantly drawn to Ty, he had that air about him.
Kaylee i already knew i was going to love aswell because she’s got fight in her, she put Ty in his place a time or two.
So in this book i excited to see how she and Ty got along.
Alot like book one you have your heartbreaking moments, your sweet moments and some hot and steamy parts.
I love how close knit they all are too.
I’m dying for Tanners book, i think he will fall hard like his brothers and Dirk too! I hope we see more of him!
Always Enough by Kelly Elliott a five-tar read you will never get enough of. This is number two in the Meet me in Montana Series and they both tell a great tale, you could read this one and not be lost if you miss the first, but I promise you will want to go and read that one so I would advise reading them in order if you can, if you don’t then just keep reading and enjoy. Kaylee and Ty both have a history and reasons that they shouldn’t work, but sometimes two wrongs do make it right, both have lost dreams. The angst and drama in this story keep the will they wont they and the push and pull leaping off the page and make you feel that Montana snow in your hair, make you feel the warmth of the open fire on your face. Do not miss this series as Kelly Elliot has a style that makes you feel part of the story. Which cowboy will be the next Montanan we will hear from as they grow something special there and I need me some more cowboy.
Ty and Kaylee, I think I’ve not connected to a couple for a long while, I’ve thoroughly loved getting into their story, their antics, how their love jumped off the pages, I really felt everything with them.
Their joys and sadness, their disagreements and denial, watching them both falling head over heels for each other.
My favourite read of 2020 so far, really wanted them both to work it out, to feel they were Good Enough to be loved and to love.
Thoroughly loved catching up with Brock, Lincoln, Blayze and little Morgan.
Just love a small town story, totally imagine being right there with them.
I think Montana is now on my must visit list!!! 🙂
This is a beautifully written love story about opening your heart after tragedy has closed you off from living. Ty not only has lost his career as a bull-rider but other actions in his life have left him with the idea that everything he hopes for eventually gets pulled away. Kaylee has had he own hurdles to overcome before she can start again. When the two collide the sexual tension makes them more like enemies – poking jabs and hateful words. It only takes an injury and a blizzard that has them locked in together bringing out a new side for them both. I can guarantee once you start this book you will not be able to put it down. In true Kelly Elliott fashion the reader will fall in love with these characters as she never disappoints!!
Always enough is my first Kelly Elliott book and I’m not disappointed. Ever since Ty Shaw’s accident that cut his bull riding career short, he’s been going through the motions of life on his parent’s ranch, trying to figure out exactly what it is he wants. Kaylee Holden is doing her best to move on with her life after her fiance’s death, moving to a new town with her best friend Lincoln felt like the perfect new start. When she meets Ty the attraction is undeniable, too bad he avoids her like the plague. Ty is reluctant to get involved with Kaylee for several reasons even though he can feel the tension between them too. All he wants is one night, all she wants is everything.
I really enjoyed this story, I have not read the first of the series (I plan to remedy that) and I didn’t ever really feel lost in the plot. This book is sweet, with relatable characters, tons of tension, plenty of angst and a plot twist I didn’t necessarily predict. Kaylee and Ty are both such a great representation of the struggles of trying to get your life back on track after tragedy. Kaylee was sweet, independent and funny, I loved her patience for Ty (even though I was internally screaming at him frequently). I understood a lot of Ty’s struggles and feelings surrounding his addiction, I think that’s an important topic, even in a work of fiction, and it was captured beautifully. Overall this is a great book, it was exactly what I needed after a seriously stressful read just before it. I’ll definitely be checking out sone of Kelly Elliott’s other stories. Thank you to the publisher for an ARC.
My first, and definitely not my last Kelly Elliott read. Friends/enemies (not sure which they really are) to lovers, hot cowboy romance. Ty Shaw, ex professional bull rider, is used to being the love ‘em and leave ‘em kinda guy, and he knows without a shadow of a doubt, Kaylee Holden would be much more than a hookup, so he stays far far away, which isn’t easy considering she’s his sister in law’s best friend. He pushes her away at every opportunity because he thinks he’s too messed up to let such a sweet, loving girl into his life or his head. She’s his secret crush, but he’ll deny it ‘til the cows come home. Kaylee knew straight away she was attracted to Ty, but for some reason he isn’t interested, even so she can’t get him out of her head, no matter how hard she tries to move on, he’s the only one she’s even remotely interested in. Lovely writing, with adorable characters (especially Ty’s little cutie of a nephew, Blayze), and an addictive storyline that kept me entertained from the first page. I received an advanced copy of this book from the publisher via NetGalley. This is my honest review.
5 star reviews Always Enough (Meet Me in Montana #2) by Kelly Elliott
I love stories based in small towns, it makes for a more intimate read. Having read the first book in the series, I was excited to dive in to Always Enough as I couldn’t wait to see what Ms. Elliott had in store for Ty Shaw and Kaylee Holden.
Both Ty and Kaylee have extensive baggage; Ty having been badly injured in a car accident and Kaylee, grieving the death of her fiancee. Following her best friend, Kaylee is desperate for a fresh start and moves to Montana.
Ty has been focused on his recovery, determined to beat the odds and walk again, even though he knows he will never return to his bull riding again.
When Ty and Kaylee meet, sparks fly, the chemistry between them is intense and obvious to everyone around them.
Can two broken hearted souls come together to find peace, love and in doing so take a leap of faith, creating a future together?
This was a beautifully written story full of love, family, hope, angst, passion and determination to face ones past and in doing so create a beautiful future.
The story was well written, with characters that you cannot help but like and invested in. Ms. Elliott’s descriptive writing certainly brought Montana to life for me.
I received a copy of this book through the publisher via NetGalley.
I’m really enjoying reading this series. As soon as I read the first book, Never Enough, I knew that Kaylee and Ty needed there own book and I’m so glad that Kelly wrote their story. Kaylee and Ty both had their own demons to conquer. How they both navigate them is a good story to read. There were a few times that I wanted to yell at Ty!!! I don’t want to give too much of the story away, just take my advice and read it!
We are back in Hamilton, MT and this time Ty, one of the Shaw brothers gets his story .
When he was at the top of his bull riding career, Ty got seriously injured in an accident. He was told he would likely not be able to walk, but his determination and drive defied all predictions. But his life changed forever, the career that defined him is gone and now he’s dealing with demons of his own.
Kaylee moved from Atlanta to Hamilton with her best friend. A friend who is now married to Brock, Ty’s older brother and the couple of book 1.
Kaylee too has suffered a loss. Hers was the death of her fiance.
When these two met the attraction was immediate, but Ty continues to be rude to Kaylee. As charming as he is, Ty is dealing with dark feelings and has decided not to have Kaylee deal with with baggage.
Will they be able to find their HEA, or will Ty’s actions destroy that future?
The story was engaging and the characters complex.
We get a glimpse of the effects of suicide has on others, as well as depression and lack of self-esteem some individuals suffer. Kudos to the author of that eye opening situation.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Montlake. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Its frustrating to read a book and go through all their struggles and you know they are perfect for each other if they’d only sit down and talk straight from their heart. When they finally opened their heart to each other, you could really feel the love and how much they helped each other out of the darkness that haunts them from their past.
I was excited for this book. It meet all my expectations. Kelly writes great cowboy books. There is nothing better than a hard working man in jeans and boots.
I am so in Love with The Shaw Family. We met Brook in Never Enough now we have Ty story. Ty after his career ending accident his life has changed but he isn’t sure what to make of it. Seeing his brother fine his HEA, he can’t understand his reaction to his Sister In Law best friend Kaylee. They were drawn together but they both have pass events to work through. Their road isn’t easy but it will be worth the fight to fine what their future has in stored.
Always Enough is a heartbreakingly beautiful story about two people struggling with loss and the need to find themselves again. Ty and Kaylee’s story was one that had me so immersed in their book that I couldn’t read it fast enough. After reading Brock and Lincoln, I couldn’t imagine another couple topping them but Ty and Kaylee they just hold a special place in my heart. The hard truths these two had to overcome to realize they deserved happiness and love was a breathtakingly beautiful journey of hope, love and forever.
“You are everything to me. Every single flaw, imperfection, struggle, demon, painful memory… they’re mine now also. The same goes for me. All of my doubts, struggles, fears-they’re yours. Together, we make a beautiful puzzle with all our crazy pieces.”
Always Enough, book #2 in the Meet Me in Montana series is an excellent follow up! This series just keeps getting better! Ty and Kaylee’s journey had me feeling every emotion from sadness to frustration to hope and elation all wrapped up in the lesson that nothing worth having comes easy. It was a true joy to feel surrounded by the beauty of Montana while catching up with the Shaw family. These well developed and very likeable characters leave me looking forward to the next installment in this series.
Another amazing job by Kelly Elliott. 🙂
Although, I wanted to smack Ty upside the head more times than I could count!
Ty and Kaylee had a rocky start to their relationship, choosing to avoid their attraction for one another.
When one decides to give and admit the feelings, the other turns their back and walks away.
These two had a rough go for a while, there were times when I thought, is this ever going to work them? I really had my doubts.
Ty has demons. Kaylee has demons. Once they both realize they can heal each other, their love grows immediately and it’s beautiful.
Thank you for yet another amazing story, Kelly!
Can’t wait for the next book in this series <3
Ty and Kaylee are perfect for each other. An emotional story full of hope, loss, love and lust. Both have their walls up high and you will get frustrated with them as you can see the desire they both have for each other but are to stubborn to do anything about it. But once they snap then its game on. These two helped heal each other.
Kaylee and Ty are perfect for each other.
They both had walls up, they were both afraid to love. So what do these 2 do. They play a game of push and pull.
Kelly Elliott has a way with words that is just amazing. Every book she writes just keeps getting better
