I enjoyed the romance of the story. It will make a good eventual reread in the future.
Read 2 books in this series. Looking forward to the others. Believable characters. Interesting storyline.
Good characters. Believable plot. Will read more of Me. Driscoll’s books.
A sweet story with delightful characters.
I must say Maureen Driscoll has once again captured my attention.
Though the book was a quick read for me it was a very good read. I truly liked that Maureen creates strong female leads as well as very good male characters.
I found the story to be sweet, steamy and on point. I enjoyed how resourceful our lead characters were and how …
interesting characters
I love Maureen Driscoll’s books, with intelligent, independent heroines and sexy heroes, and interesting storylines. Her three historical romance series give you a chance to get to know the characters in depth in relation to each other.
I liked this book because the characters stayed true to their story and grew as the plot moved along. The story, it’s self, held my interest.
I was ,however, often distracted with the careless editing. At first I attributed it to typographical errors, but too many occasions of the same incorrect grammatical uses kept popping up for it to be …
enjoyed the story
It’s no news to my followers that I’m a huge fan of this author and have been ever since I read her first book in the Kellington series. I think she is a wonderful storyteller and after Kellington’s I wondered in which direction she would take us next. I didn’t have to wait too long. She is back with a brand new family and I love them as much as I …
It was a lovely surprise to reach the end of the book without a miraculous event that made them rich–so often in these tropes, the poor man marries the non-heiress, then money comes to them from some source so that they don’t have to be poor anymore. I look forward to seeing how the family’s fortunes might change going forward in the series.
The …
Good strong characters. Well written, easy to read. A nice heart-warming story with a happy ending. Not a lot of garbage in it, like so many romances, so I actually enjoyed the whole book.
The plot was very different bot great. Loved how the characters worked
With each other. Great read
just loved the characters. Currently on Book 5 of the series
I really enjoyed this book. The characters are believable and I found myself rooting for them. I thought about these folks even when I wasn’t reading. Good job.
While this novel has all the factors of a period romance, it also has witty repartee, a theme of deep love for family, and characters who truly respect one another. Colin Emerson, Earl of Ridgeway, is willing to sell himself on the marriage market in order to guarantee the financial security of his sisters. Instead of steamy romantic scenes …

It seemed to quit too soon. I’m glad more will follow!!
