I MARKED YOU. YOU BELONG TO ME.Nash I’ve survived suicide missions in war zones. Shifter prison labs. The worst torture imaginable. Nothing knocked me off my feet… until the beautiful lioness they threw in my cage. We shared one night before our captors ripped us apart. Now I’m free, and my lion is going insane. He’ll destroy me from the inside out if I don’t find my mate.I don’t know who she … mate.
I don’t know who she is. I don’t know where she lives. All I have is a video of her. But I’ll die if I don’t find her, and make her mine.
I’m coming for you, Denali.
Denali
They took me from my home, they killed my pride, they locked me up and forced me to breed. They took everything from me and still I survived.
But one night with a lion shifter destroyed me. Nash took the one thing my captors couldn’t touch—my heart.
Somehow I escaped, and live in fear that they will come for me. It’s killing my lioness, but I’ve got to hide–even from Nash. I’ve got to protect the one thing I have left to lose.
Our cub.

I love reading anything either of these ladies writes. They each write some wonderful stories that suck me in, but pair them up and it’s more than double the great story. I love reading this series and this world.
Nash spent way too many years in a secret facility being experimented on and tortured. One of the many things they did was throw women into his cell for him to breed. One of those women was another lion shifter, Denali. On the one and only night they had, he mate marked her. When she escaped, she had to leave him there. He was fine with her leaving him there if it meant that she was free.
Three years later, he’s free and he wants to see her. He has to fight to keep his lion under control, and he’s pretty sure that he’s dying, but he still wants to see her. When his lion forces his hand, he goes to find Denali again.
Denali is pretty dang strong. I mean, she is a lioness, but she’s just so strong outside of that. She does what she thinks is right and what she needs to to make sure that her family is safe and protected. I love that Nash doesn’t wrap her in bubble wrap, even though he may want to. He recognizes that strength in her. That’s pretty awesome.
We met Nash in the previous books. The lion that was rescued from the labs. Nash is having a bad time dealing with the trauma and the loss of his mate.
Then he gets the phone call he has been waiting for. They found his mate.
Nash is at war with his himself. he feel he is not good enough to be a mate and that he is dangerous to be around. It made me feel sad.
He is broken, but having his mate around is what he needs. Even more when he finds out the secret she has been hiding.
Nash and Denali have to face each other and outside influences. Will they make it?
It is sad, sweet, sexy and funny
A beautifully moving story that describes the doubt, hesitation and broken nature of Nash to perfection. When he is ready to give up, he finds Denali and is surprised with a child. The description of his anguish and self loathing over being a sudden father is spot on and authentic. I loved the development of Nash in this story, as we learn more about him, what he went through and what he is willing to do to try to keep Denali and Nolan safe. Well written and brought to a fabulous conclusion, I am so glad Nash got his own story and we got to see the man and beast he truly is.
Wow, I love this series. It has in depth, strong, loveable characters and intriguing storylines. This is Nash and Denali’s story. They were forced together then torn apart but, a bond was formed that could never be broken. Their emotional journey pulls you in and keeps your interest until the end. I would definitely recommend this book.
I was so happy to find out that Nash was getting his story and “Alpha’s War” was a grand treat to read and I will confess to devouring it in one sitting, it was that good. If you’re new to the series, then I definitely recommend starting with book 1 (psst, there’s a boxset) and working your way up to story 7, it will make more sense that way. Promise. Finished? Excellent. You will love this story. It has all the makings of good storytelling complete with all the angst necessary to make Nash and Denali’s story that much more compelling and humorous (new dad alert!). Add in the underlying mystery that’s been threaded through the entire series, some serious alpha chemistry, and the three stooges (hee) and see what I mean? You want to read this story.
Out of all the stories in the Bad Boy Alphas series, I’m so glad to see that Nash has gotten his happily ever after. Of all the characters, his tortured soul deserves it the most and I might have sniffled a little in response.
4.5 Stars
The King of the Jungle is back for his Queen!!
Nash is definitely a tortured character. His time spent in the Data-X labs has really messed him up. His lion is freaking nuts and craving pain and blood. But more than that, it is also craving his mate, if only he could find her. But find her he does and boy does that open a whole new case of crazy into his life.
Denali lost everything thanks to Data-X. And when she saw her chance, she took it to escape. Her regret was that she didn’t get Nash out, but she needs to move on with her life because there is something more for her to protect.
Both of these characters are hurt in separate ways, but they definitely complete each other and that shows throughout the story. Exploring the softer side of his nature through the story, but keeping with his aggressive and dangerous ways, allowed me to connect more with Nash than I thought I would. From the previous book I thought he was a little to arrogant, but now know that there is a reason for that arrogance and pain that he carried with him.
And Denali is definitely an alpha female that is the perfect mate for Nash. She is not afraid of danger that pours off him and she is capable of violence on her own. She will not let anyone take anything away from her again, but she is also fragile and vulnerable. I could clearly read how much she loved Nash, but how she was afraid to trust and commit. I loved watching the way their relationship progressed with each other and also with the other characters in the series.
Definitely an awesome edition to the Bad Boy Alpha’s series.

Very inhuman experiences were had by both the main characters but a bond was achieved through this negativity no less. This is a very action-packed fantasy adventure. There are many supporting characters and they are all well defined, so much so, that you feel like you are right there with them in the story. There are very steamy scenes between the two main characters yet there still remains a base of an inseparable connection. This novel is part of a series and characters from other novels appear in this story. I like it when an author does this. Intriguing.
This novel is a very interesting read.
I received an advance review copy of this novel and I am leaving an honest review.
Edge of your seat thrill ride of a romantic adventure filled with danger, secrets, longing, passion, heartbreak and hard tugs on the heart strings…. Loved every breath taking twist.
Nash and Denali are prisoners in a evil experiment lab when they are thrown together for one night. Both of their worlds are turned upside down and inside out by this encounter and after they escape separately things just get more dangerous. Could not get enough of this highly entertaining journey.
I have been waiting on Nash’s and Denali’s story. We had hints about what had happened between them but not the full story. We knew that Nash and Denali had a bad start and that Nash is unhinged. But we had no idea what happened in that cage between them.
We find out their backstory and that they have a cub together. We get a beautiful story on how they find a way to come together and make a relationship work. And find the people that made them the way they are. Denali and Nash have a lot of work ahead of them, but it is such a great story to read that you can’t put it down.
So when I first started “Alpha’s War” I must admit I wasn’t quite convinced initially of the writing style.
But after I’d got used to the story flow used here; this actually grew on me and it wasn’t long before I was emotionally connected and invested in this interesting story and also the overall character dynamic established between Nash and Denali.
So this is a kind of backwards love story; starting after Nash and Denali are thrust together at the data x lab.
Their one-time encounter resulted in Denali being mate marked and bred and after her escape and time on the run, she has finally settled and is trying to build a life for herself and their young cub Nolan.
Nash after his rescue and the burning of the Data x labs is trying to suppress and feed his lion with his fighting in the Pit.
His nickname “King of the Beasts”.
But after this Alphas lost Mate is finally located; Nash knows that despite his demons he needs to go to her and finish off what they started way back there in the lab.
So Nash was a super dominant Lion shifter with a penchant for a bit of rough and tumble in the bedroom department.
An ex-soldier and skilled fighter he oozes testosterone, dominance and aggression both in and out the bedroom.
Because of his unconventional upbringing parenting scares the bejesus out of this big bad shifter.
Denali is an absolute sweetheart; more than a match for the troubled Carter.
Super protective over there little lion cub,
A fantastic mother with an inner fierce lioness that has already laid claim to its mate.
Also, Denali’s human side wants nothing more than to share her load of responsibility with her mate Carter.
Together this pair’s chemistry was super hot and the emotion between these two leapt off the page with its overall sincerity.
This was action packed with some fantastic secondary characters.
Told in dual POV and even though one of a series can easily be read as a stand-alone.
This overall was a great read that I’m happy to recommend.
Thank You to the Author for providing me with an ARC of “Alpha’s War (Bad Boy Alphas, #7) ” of which I have reviewed voluntary.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

I love, love, love this series!!!
I don’t know how Lee S. and Renee R. write about Alphas with such a damaged yet beautiful soul and mates with the strength of character to match, but they do and it’s done to perfection. Any time you can laugh a little, cry a little and fan yourself a lot, I call that a great read. I voluntarily read this book as an ARC for the authors and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great hot read today!
Oh, my! Oh my! They have done it again! Renee Rose and Lee Savino always deliver to their readers! I was laughing, crying, nail biting – all through another, well written story.
Our hero and heroine, Nash and Denali are left emotionally broken after being held prisoners in the shifter labs where they were being experimented on. Can they heal? Can the pieces be put together? We watch them struggle to find themselves, fight for their lives and for their right to be mates. Their story is deeply emotional, packed with drama, passion, HOT sexual scenes, intensity and action. I love this series! Each story can be read as a standalone but for a fully enjoyable and understandable experience, I would recommend reading all the books in order. All the books are an excellent read, I cannot pick a favorite. Renee Rose and Lee Savino have given us another page turner from the first sentence filled with sweetness, humor and suspense AND then take care of their readers and give us a treat! At the end, they share a delicious, delectable treat with us!!!! Yummmmmy!!! (Read to the end and find the recipe- LOL) Thank you!!
A family meant to heal
This book is gives a new definition to survival, love and healing. The authors took us along on a wild journey where Nash finds his people, his happiness and his place in this world. Like all who have suffered great adversity, he has setbacks and false starts but by the end of the book he finds his HEA and the pack that always has his back. I think this might be my favorite of the series so far and I can’t wait to see what the authors write next.
Nash and Denali were explosive together. Their characters were so well written that you could feel their power and strength. I loved the way Denali was able to sooth the savage beast. Nolan was such a sweetie and a great addition that also served to show Nash’s vulnerability.
This book felt like it was really fast paced, but I believe it was so entertaining, and kept me so engrossed that it just seemed to move fast. It was sexy, intriguing, suspenseful, and had a good dose of action.
I’m not a huge shifter fan, but I have enjoyed this series and the different shifters involved. Each book can be read as a standalone, but I think they are more enjoyable if you start at book one and work your way through them.
I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Another great story to get lost in! This is a great story full of fantastically damaged characters. It was fun to reconnect with characters from other books in the series, but the introduction of the new ones gave this book added emotionalism and depth. I loved the way all the broken people band together to work of surviving their survival. The story had a solid emotional arc and enough action to keep my blood lust satisfied. I love that during each of these stories, you are led to another damaged shifter whose story you can’t wait to read too!
Yes! Payback’s a bitch and it was certainly well deserved. You feel for Nash, his fight with his PTSD was very well written. We get to meet up with all the gang & meet a few new players too. This has been an excellent world & I hope the authors take us back soon.
Bad Boy Alphas, Book 7. Lion and tigers and bears…and wolves, even owls? Oh my!
Can you survive a broken and out-of-control lion clawing its way from the inside out? Nash lives with that terror every day. Surviving Afghanistan? No cake walk for sure but he did it. Data-X? Those horrors nearly destroyed him. Then fate literally threw Denali in his path. One night…that’s all it took. In the blink of an eye, Nash and Denali’s lives were forever changed. And then she was gone. If Nash thought he’d known hell before, he was oh, so very wrong! Escaping Data-X was Denali’s salvation, and her undoing. She left part of her soul behind. When Data-X and its unspeakable horrors are finally destroyed, and Nash too is freed, his torment lives on. He knows one thing. Denali is his. Five long years pass. Denali’s never forgotten Data-X, the good and the bad. But she’s built a new life. That has to be enough, right? Nash fights his broken lion who’s filled with violence and rage. Then fate again intervenes, and Nash and Denali are reunited. Can this be a second chance? Or is this the worst idea ever conceived? When the past roars into the present, everything…family, friends, Denali and Nash’s very existence…is on the line. But secrets abound. Nothing is as it seems. New discoveries, hidden enemies, unknown allies, and covert agendas lurk around every corner. When the ultimate betrayal splinters Nash and Denali’s very souls, can anything make this right? Is this the utter destruction both always knew would come? There’s one infinitesimal hope. But what price will have to be paid? And will it be worth it?
Renee Rose and Lee Savino have done it again. This series just keeps getting better with every book. This story is filled with off-the-charts chills, thrills, unpredictability, steamy sexiness, and the most unexpected ending yet. Denali is absolutely wonderful! The very personification of a lioness, she guards those she loves with a fierceness and loyalty that’s inspirational. Yet despite everything she’s endured, she still finds joy in the simplest pleasures. Wildflowers, a sunny day, small kindnesses, a child’s laugh…all bring joy to a haunted woman. She’s endured, survived, yet still finds a way to thrive. She’s more than beautiful. She’s stunning! And Nash? He has every reason for his bitterness and uncontrollable rage. But he’s truly the king of the beasts. Even in his human form, despite his soul-deep torture, the hatred, evil, and depravity that have been rained down on him, Nash is incredible. These two are a study in contrasts that make this story as riveting as anything I’ve ever read. But this entire series wouldn’t be as epic as it is without the supporting characters. Familiar faces from the past return. New characters emerge with the promise of even more to come. Parker, Declan, and Laurie alternately made me laugh out loud, hold my breath in fear, and cry my heart out. And what about Charlie? (If you want to know, you’ll have to read the book. Charlie’s a conundrum you’ll have to experience for yourself!) Renee Rose and Lee Savino are authors extraordinaire, and they DO NOT disappoint. Congratulations, Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino! Alpha’s War is a paranormal romance lover’s dream come true! It deserves nothing less than five stars!
A final note. This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, this may not be the book for you. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and Amazon. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the authors. They work hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to a book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
This book was epic! So glad I read this one first because it inspired me to read the whole series! I hope they keep writing more Alpha shifter books! They are quick to read, super steamy but with a depth of characters that is hard to find. Love love love!!
This was one of the good ones of the series. I enjoyed how the authors brought in a third person into this mate equation: the son. Considering the circumstances they mated in, I think it was a good twist to have her gotten pregnant during the time there. As much as I love the wolves, it is also fun when the authors bring in a different type of shifter. This one didn’t have a lion and another animal, wolf, or even human; it had both them as lions. Enjoyable read over all.
