MINE TO PROTECT. MINE TO PUNISH. MINE.I’m a lone wolf, and I like it that way. Banished from my birth pack after a bloodbath, I never wanted a mate. Then I meet Kylie. My temptation. We’re trapped in an elevator together, and her panic almost makes her pass out in my arms. She’s strong, but broken. And she’s hiding something. My wolf wants to claim her. But she’s human, and her delicate flesh … But she’s human, and her delicate flesh won’t survive a wolf’s mark.
I’m too dangerous. I should stay away. But when I discover she’s the hacker who nearly took down my company, I demand she submit to my punishment. And she will.
Kylie belongs to me.

This book is edgy, and sexy and all the things a good dark romance book should be. I really enjoyed it!
I really liked this book I couldn’t read it fast enough to know what happens next I look forward to reading more:) I wish this guy was in real life.
This book has a little bit of everything just like you would expect from a good shifter story – sweet moments, strong friendships and family, sexy times, real life issues, imperfect characters, dangerous high stress situations, and over the top alpha protectiveness. Kylie has led an isolated life – first with her cat burglar parents and then, after their deaths, as a hacker with her grandmother. She is trying to live a normal life now and gets a job with the company that was the recipient of one of her greatest hacks, SeCure. Jackson owns SeCure and is a lone wolf shifter. His wolf insists Kylie is his mate at their first meeting even though she’s human. I just loved the emotional roller coaster journey that is Kylie and Jackson’s inevitable HEA. While the bad guy in the story was easy to guess, that did nothing to diminish the ratcheting up of the suspense or the enjoyment of the story. This book did a great job of balancing the romance, building feelings, and tentative trust with the suspense making everything important and integral parts of the story. I especially like when real issues – like baggage from childhood trauma – are included in romances, it makes for more three dimensional characters and more well rounded storylines. I will definitely keep reading more of this series.
Great shifter romance! I really enjoyed this one and loved the connection of the two MC that had been made years previously. It’s not usual to read a shifter romance of a billionaire but this one totally worked and I absolutely loved the twists and turns throughout the book!
Alpha’s Temptation – Renee Rose and Lee Savino – Shifters meets internet security. There are actual cat burglars y’all! Kylie, reformed hacker on the lam, moves with her grandmother to work for the big bad wolf at his cyber security company. There is just so much to like about this world! Happy Reading!
When these two authors get together sparks fly!!!
Jackson and Kylie’s story was everything I had hoped for and more.
He was immediately drawn to her from their first meeting.
He just couldn’t understand why.
If you love a hot steamy werewolf/shifter story this is definitely the one for you.
First ever dual natured/shifter type book. Fell in love instantly. Great understanding from both characters POV. Instance love. Lots of laughs from how the heroin speaks. Just a fantastic read
Adult shifter romance
I loved reading this story, funny bantering, storyline is intriguing.
It has sexy hot smutty times
Love this deliciously dominant alpha romance
Alpha’s Temptation: A Billionaire Werewolf Romance (Bad Boy Alphas Book 1) by Renee Rose and Lee Savino is a very well written shifter paranormal romance. But this romance is not just paranormal in nature, it’s also full of intrigue and suspense.
While the plot is highly engaging and completely captivating, the characters are absolutely awesome. I adore Kylie. She’s everything most women want to be; smart, beautiful, sassy, confident, resourceful and cool under pressure. Jackson, the alpha billionaire, is a dreamy dominant alpha; strong, silent, brooding, growl-ly, possessive and ultra protective.
Overall, a very well written book that is a wonderful beginning to an action packed series. While Jackson and Kylie get their HEA, I can’t wait to read all about the next alpha to heed the mating call.
I didn’t love this book but I didn’t hate it. It satisfies an old obsession with paranormal and is a great break from the sort of books I have been reading. With all sorts of great adult paranormal books that seem to carry on forever, I need to get into some of those, but this series, as it is only 9 books, is a great start. After reading this, I’m unsure if I’ll read them all back to back as originally planned, or use them in-between some of my main reads as a break.
Overall, it’s a cute book. I liked the backstory involved. Modern day werewolf running a business. While he is a recluse, he isn’t *that* recluse, living alone in the woods. Since she is a self-made hacker interviewing for a job at his tech company, I appreciated the additionally storyline presented here. Even after she gets the job, it is revealed that there is more at play here than just their romance and this storyline fast becomes an equal partner as the romance in the plot. So while the intense, sexy romance is the focus, the other main focus here is at an alternate issue, outside wolfly and sex stuff.
I felt like her finding out the truth about him was a tad downplayed. I was expecting more. Secondly, the characters drove me nuts! They’re both so stupid. For a smart guy, you’d think he would trust her a bit more and not blame her at every turn, even when situations look bad. Also, I appreciate the push-pull; the he can’t bite her or else he will kill her, but reminding of this in almost every sentence was super annoying. And she’s just dumb, honestly. Wasn’t much to her and she seemed to make all the stupid decisions.
I liked the fact the author tells you that the wolf in the book likes to dominate his female and to not buy this if it offends you. I am not into punishment books but I liked the story line so I thought I would give it a try. Yes there was some spanking in the book but it was not so much that I stopped reading the book. Kylie has had a very interesting upbringing and her past has found her once again. Jackson’s story you do not learn much until almost the end of the book I would have liked more background on him. He is a VERY demanding Alpha Wolf and at times I really did not like his character but then he switches and is soft and sweet to Kylie. You see he really does love her and it is not just a power issue. The fact that Kylie’s grandmother had kept family secrets from her was a mystery to me. Yes it would have made the book read different so I guess there is that reason.
I enjoyed the book and the story line.
Kylie needs this job, she needs to prove to herself that she can function in the real world and not just in the virtual world.
Jackson King is alpha in his world. He doesn’t want the complication’s of running a wolf pack, he leaves it to the alpha Garrett. And he left that along time ago, when he left his original pack.
When Kylie and Jackson first meet it’s literally lust at first sight! Only Kylie knows who Jackson is, Jackson has no clue she is, but she doesn’t know what he is! Trapped in a lift, Kylie has a full blown panic attack, but with Jackson at her side it soon subsides and they leave the lift, but Jackson’s wolf won’t leave Kylie, the Wolf has decided Kylie will be their mate. But Kylie is human, and Jackson won’t do that to her…..
But that all changes when she’s implicated in espionage charges, instead of letting Kylie explain herself, Jackson locks her away…..
I did like this book. I wanted to kick Jackson as he accused Kylie of sabotaging his company. And you have to love a grovelling Alpha when he realises his mistake. A little more on his backstory would have been nice, but who knows we may get more in the following books (last count over 15!)
Kylie is a hacker, and a pretty good one, years ago she hacked into Jackson’s company, she took nothing, but wanted to show him his software had issues.
We jump forward and Kylie is going for an interview at the company she hacked.
She doesn’t really have many social skills, so this was her way of reintegrating into society.
And when she’s blackmailed into compromising Jackson’s company, she doesn’t have much choice. But Jackson won’t believe when she tries to explain herself.
I have to admit I did guess who was sabotaging the company pretty early on in the book. But not why.
Looking forward to reading the next book.
Hot Alpha Male Shifter…What’s Not To Love
So…I’ll be honest…I’ve never really liked paranormal or supernatural or whatever……they just never did it for me….until one day they did….I still don’t like all of them…but I liked ALPHA’S TEMPTATION….I mean…how can you go wrong with hot alpha male shifters???
Gorgeous, billionaire, Jackson King is CEO and founder of SeCure…He’s a hot geek….And, he’s a shifter….It’s time for Jackson to mate, and when he’s trapped in an elevator with a claustrophobic woman, Jackson knows he’s found his mate…one problem…she’s human…
Pretty, smart, Kylie McDaniel is IT genius, who gets the once in a lifetime opportunity to work for her lifelong idol and crush, billionaire, Jackson King…one problem…Kylie, just for fun, hacked into Jackson’s business accounts while she was still just a teenager…and she’s nervous everyday about Jackson finding out she’s his Catgirl….But, he’s a wolf…so, he’s gonna find out…And there are several good surprises too….This is the first book I’ve read by either of these authors…but it won’t be the last…
Woah this really held my attention and to find out at the end what was there all along, wow!!!
Jackson really did need to find his catgirl to find his happiness and so did his catgirl as he helped her to find herself.
These authors have always intrigued me with their diversity in writing and this is just another one of their books that I really enjoyed.
I was given this book to read for this, my honest opinion.
******UPDATE FOR AUDIOBOOK 24 NOV 19******
I listened to the audio version of this book, and it was ok. I didn’t get the same sense of Jackson being alpha. At least, it was not consistent in the narration. Often, transition from Kylie’s or Sam’s voice back to Jackson’s voice, the narration would lose the “alpha” tone, and retain on of the other voices. Eventually, he would regain that tone, but I found that it sometimes took me out of the flow of the book.
I would go with 3 stars for the audio version. I voluntarily listened to and reviewed the Audio version of this book.
***Read 27 July 17***
Definitely a 4.5. I really enjoyed this book. It had action, suspense, intrigue, and mystery. It was also a steamy read.
One thing I found interesting is that Jackson kept referring to Kylie as an “alpha”, while wanting her submission. I’m hoping that Sam and Garrett get their own books.
I voluntarily read and reviewed this book.
Holy freaking awesome read, Batman!
Okay, it was somewhat annoying that Kylie often spoke to herself in Batman-esque quotes. But other than that, she was pretty amazing. I loved that she was mostly portrayed as a strong, intelligent woman. Although her interactions with the blackmailers are not entirely the acts of a smart person. Mostly she just really wants somewhere to belong.
Jackson is the quintissential alpha male. A lone wolf (pretty much) who doesn’t even realize how much he longs for a family. He’s forceful, demanding, and authoratative. All things the Kylie comes to find she appreciates, even though she herself is a pretty alpha personality. It really ticked me off that he didn’t believe Kylie at the near end, and because of that put her in danger. But I was somewhat appeased by how much he tried to find and help her.
The secondary characters — chiefly Sam, Jacqueline and Garrett — are also quite delightful, and I hope that we see more of them in future books of the series.
The intrigue of the tale is genius, with a plot you think you know, until there’s a twist — one right after another, in fact — that takes things in a different direction. There’s a fair amount of danger, and even some violence, but nothing too dramatic or graphic.
Holy freaking heatwave, Batman!
The love scenes are spicy! The chemistry between Kylie and Jackson is apparent from the very first moments of the book. And things just ramp up from there. He is controlling, demanding, and even punishing at times, but always makes sure that she is taken care of and okay with things. It is both sweet and hot.
Overall, this was quite the enjoyable read,
and I look forward to reading additional volumes in the series.
For me there was so much wrong and nauseatingly disgusting about this book. The fairly good plot couldn’t make up for the rest of it and it’s the only reason I gave it a two instead of a one. I understand that there are women who love to receive pain as sexual arousal. I don’t equate pain with love. Jackson nor Kylie were appealing to me. Jackson went from spanking Kylie with his hand to using a wooden spoon to whipping her with a belt and she gets wetter that the Pacific Ocean. That’s just disgusting. At one point he grabs her my her throat and literally lifts her off her feet during an episode of his anger towards her perceived betrayal. This was after they both said I love you. Yes that’s exactly how you show love. Jackson was a dominating jacka$$. Kylie was annoying as hell. The constant phrase of holy Batman was to repetitive but mostly she put up with Jackson’s abuse and kept coming back for more. This was a waste of my time.
Amazing!
I loved this book. Great details and character development 🙂
I will definately be reading the next books in the series and looking into other books by these authors
Great read
This was a fun twist on a wolf shifter story. It had many twist throughout the story. The sex scenes were steamy.
