*I received a free copy of this book which I voluntarily chose to write an honest review for.
The main characters may be in their 50’s but that does not make this book any less hot!! Sunny’s daughter has married and her new father-in-law is hot to her so they have a fling. One hot weekend later they go their separate ways only to run into one another again a couple years later. He fights his attraction so hard because he is a wolf shifter and she is human. His wolf has other ideas though twisting him into a hot mess making it necessary for him to have to make some really hard decisions. A fantastic romance that shows that age is nothing but a number when it comes to love. I really liked it so I give it 4/5 stars.
I really appreciate a good book.
And this book did just that.
I enjoyed reading Sunny and Titus
Character and how she explained how they were involved and how they cross paths again.
This was an well written book.
I never got frustrated with the MC.
I could relate on both side of how they were feeling.
Overall I was pleased with the story telling.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy and my opinion are my own.
I always enjoy Lee and Renee’s bad boy shifter books, and this installment does not dusappoint! I fell in love with Tank and Foxfire back in Alpha’s Challenge, so to have the chance to get to know Titus and Sunny (their parents) was a hoot! Plus, I dig the older more mature characters and their romances. Great storyline plus an intro to brand new characters and hopefully another series or spin-off!
Titus and Sunny
I purchased this book via Amazon and am leaving my review voluntarily. It is book 12 in the Bad Boy Alpha Series. It is a standalone but characters from previous books may appear. This involves the parents of Tank and Foxfire (Alpha’s Challenge, b4)
Triggers:
Spoilers:
Titus, wolf shifter. Fell for the wrong woman before and she caused him to lose his pack. Attracted to Sunny, he refuses to pursue her. After all, she’s a human.
Sunny, mom to Foxfire she was rejected by her first love, then abandoned by the father of her child, she is a wanderer, a little eccentric and tries not to get attached even though all she’s ever wanted was a home and family. She wants Titus but knows it won’t work so she leaves to avoid heartbreak.
A quick, fun story. Some mystery. Sexy time. HEA
Sunny Hines is everything Titus needs to stay away from. Titus already made a mistake taking a mate when he was young and although it gave him his son, it ruined his life. Sunny has Titus fighting the mating urge again but there are rules about mating and Sunny is a human. When push comes to shove though will Titus act on his instincts or will he walkaway from the woman who is meant to be his?
I liked the beginning of this one a lot but where Titus is concerned it got a bit angsty. Overall entertaining read.
Renee Rose and Lee Savino bring us the final installment of the Bad Boys Alphas Series! :'( I wish it could continue on but have no fear they do introduce us to spin off series!
Titus and Sunny have an interesting relationship in more ways than one. Renee and Lee do amazing job balancing the awkwardness that we should be feeling with this intense feeling of protectiveness for Sunny! Titus is a confusing and conflicting bag of worms which is exactly how the authors want us to feel! There is one point in the story that I get really fed up with Titus and his Alpha that I want to punch something. But Lee and Renee’s writing wouldn’t allow me to pause in my reading long enough to do that I am I greatful that I didn’t. If you have not rad this series yet you absolutely should!
I am loving this series and the way the characters al grow into their own stories on the way. Sunny is a one of a kind character, and Titus is perfect for her. I love the concept of an over 50 couple finding a relationship despite their obvious obstacle, and that their struggle was realistic, even with the shifter stuff thrown in. Every story I read by these two authors has me impatient for the next thing they will write. I really loved this one, Sunny and Titus are magical together.
I absolutely loved this book from start to finish! I loved that Titus & Sunny are older & have life experience. I loved the quirkiness of Sunny & the protectiveness of Titus. I loved that both of these characters are almost polar opposites of each other & yet together they just work. What a high to finish this series on!
Finally, a love story about older characters! Titus is a quiet, grumpy wolf shifter. Sunny is a free spirit, Titus finds her weird although his wolf LOVES her. This book was fun to read! It was funny and sexy. I can’t wait for the next books!
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
Alpha’s Sun is a delight, and that’s due to the contrasting yet complimentary natures of its protagonists. Sunny is just that—someone who sees the positive side of almost everything. She’s the yin to Titus’ yang. Titus has major problems trusting women after he’s been burned in a past relationship. Add to this that Titus is a wolf shifter, Sunny is human, humans aren’t supposed to know about shifters, but it turns out that Sunny’s daughter is a fox shifter, and, oh, she’s in a relationship with Titus’ son…yeah, Sunny and Titus have a lot to unpack.
I flat-out loved both these characters, especially how Titus simply couldn’t resist Sunny when both he and his wolf truly wanted her. And while Sunny is all lightness at first, her character deepens as Titus’ lightens, so they truly achieve a balance in their relationship.
There’s a mystery in Alpha’s Sun that continues the overarching series plot thread about government research compounds that have been “studying” shifters, but it’s not the great driver of the story (other than to present several characters that could lead to spinoff series for Rose and Savino).
I also liked how the city of Taos, and its laid-back attitude, becomes as much of a character in the story as Sunny and Titus. And having protagonists who are both in their 50s is just fantastic. It’s something that romance needs more of—examples of how love can happen at any age.
There’s also a great deal of humor in Alpha’s Sun, more so than in other books in the Alpha Bad Boys series. Seeing their children’s reaction to Titus and Sunny’s relationship is priceless, and I will never think of the line “I am Spartacus” in quite the same way again.
When you put this all together, you have a fantastic romance read. Rose and Savino end their marvelous shifter series on a high note.
I love these Alpha stories written by this duo. They are always intense and keep me up late to finish reading them and the I’m sad when they are finished.
These shifters are always so domineering and I love their possessive ways.
Alpha’s Sun is the thirteenth book in another stand-alone romance in the bestselling Bad Boy Alpha series. I was totally engrossed in this story and barely gave a thought to putting it down, I had to keep reading to see what would happen and I was never disappointed!
Wonderful that Sunny has her own story, since I loved her in Foxfires story. Sunny is sweet, cheerful, loving and a free spirit who can see with her third eye but she is not a shifter. Titus is a HOT, Dominant male who is NOT looking for love, at all! And, knows he would never be attracted to a human who can’t shift. He is gruff, growls a lot and silver all the way! So, of course, they are perfect together. LOL Sunny has suffered disappointment in previous relationships but knows who she is and accepts herself. The chemistry between them is electric!
Authors Renee Rose and Lee Savino write a love story that is well developed, the characters have depth, are believable. The story is filled with adventure, danger, suspense, mystery, exciting sex scenes and fast paced and we see that life after fifty years of age is still explosive! Sunny and Titus have a second chance to find love and the HOT, sex scenes show us that life only gets better! I hope this series continues and I get to see Titus accepted into a pack. Love this series!! Thank you!!!
Titus is my favorite shifter! So gruff, so pretty, so loyal…his interactions with relationship shy Sunny were life affirming. They just made me happy. Sunny was this beautifully intuitive woman that Titus thought was eccentric, but loved all the same. HE accepted her for her quirks. And being over 40, this book just scratched me right where I itched.
I loved the cameo from Laurie and his gang of misfits. Those three will forever be in my favorite top ten characters ever created. I’ve read every one of these books in this series and they only get better. And let’s talk about the quality editing by Maggie Ryan. She has made this manuscript sing and the drama zip along. I definitely need more and I was happy to see the plans for new series that are offshoots of this series.
I loved this book and the whole damn series. I hated to see it end but was also happy to hear that we will continue to see these two beautiful authors write future stories together.
With Alpha’s Sun, we get to unbelievable characters that the attraction, heat, and total sex appeal jumps off the pages. Sunny and Titus could not be any different in every way, but this is what makes them perfect for each other. Sunny helps calm and smooth out Titus. And Titus keeps Sunny from floating around. Even when these two are fighting, you have to love them.
Alpha’s Sun is a beautiful story to this series. I loved it and will be rereading it over and over.

Be still my ancient heart! I loved, loved, loved Alpha’s Sun! I’ve been a diehard Renee Rose fan for years, so I had zero reservations about buying and trying a book co-written with Lee Savino, but I had no idea I would become so addicted to the Bad Boy Alpha Series. And now, I’m a Lee Savino fan, too! I’m the proud owner of all thirteen books(to date) in the collection and loved them all. But – yeah, yeah, there’s always a but – Alpha’s Sun completely captured my heart. I’m an older reader, almost 70 years young, and have been a voracious reader for at least 65 of those years. My tastes in literature have always been eclectic, and I enjoy a wide variety of genres. However in the past 10 years, my tastes have leaned more toward romance, especially love stories featuring older protagonists, but novels with more mature/experienced heroes and heroines are far and few between. Newsflash, authors – readers over 40 actually outnumber younger readers, and though we enjoy reading about people of all ages finding their happily ever after, we want love, adventure, and happy endings, too! And that’s exactly what Rose and Savino delivered in Alpha’s Sun! This story had everything I adore in great paranormal romance – perilous danger, heart-pounding action, spine-tingling suspense, poignant drama, agonizing angst, undeniable attraction, explosive passion, steamy romance, a silver fox hero, a beautiful spunky older heroine, and so much more! lol… I immediately fell in love with the female protagonist, Sunny Hines, a free spirited flower child with a heart of gold. Sunny was an absolute delight. We actually met her earlier in the series when she was introduced as Foxfire’s mother in Alpha’s Challenge, Book 4 of the series, and if you haven’t read Tank and Foxfire’s story, you should because it was fabulous! The male protagonist of Alpha’s Sun is a wolf shifter named Titus we also met in Book 4 as Tank’s father. Yup, that’s right; Tanks’s dad and Foxfire’s mom briefly hooked up! Lol… But both characters had two lifetimes’ worth of emotional baggage and nothing ever came of their ships passing in the night affair – until now! Sunny was exactly like her name implies, sunny and carefree, but she was also independent, quirky, free spirited, sensual, and a breath of fresh air. Titus was rude, crude, huge, fierce, and a real loner, devoted to his pack! And he was also a real panty dropper with a filthy mouth! *swoon* Unfortunately, he had a real attitude problem. Granted, he had been hurt badly and lost everything, courtesy of his former mate, but so had Sunny. And complicating the situation even further was the fact that he was a wolf shifter and Sunny was human, one who had no idea shifters even existed, even though she had a half fox shifter daughter, and mating between the two species was forbidden. But the heart wants what the heart wants, and these two hearts wanted each other. *sigh* I just adore stories where love always reigns supreme! It was so much fun watching Titus and Sunny trying to deny their feelings, but I’ll admit there were several times I wanted to smack Titus upside his hard head. (And yes, I actually see characters in my mind as I’m reading. Doesn’t everyone?) Of course, we also get to reconnect with several characters from previous books (like our infamous three stooges, Declan, Laurie, and Parker), but the real thrill was the introduction of several new characters, a wolf pack of ex-military shifters who apparently are getting their own spinoff series entitled Shifter Ops! Woo-hoo! No spoilers from me, but I will say this… Lonely, silverfox wolf shifter, devoted only to duty and his pack-check! Free-spirited, older human female trying to find happiness-check! A denial that breaks two hearts-check! Danger, drama, angst, and suspense-check! Humor, sweet romance, steamy passion, and a whole lot of heart-you bet! That and a whole lot more!
Did I like this book? No, I loved it! Would I recommend it? Absolutely, and I am but only for adults. As always, it was well written and kept me riveted to my ereader well into the night, but it does contain violence, explicit language and dreamy sex, and maybe even a little spanking. After all, this is a Renee Rose and Lee Savino book. Enough said! lol… Will I read this author again? Yes! I can hardly wait for the next book. And finally, was I entertained? Completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read! And FYI, Renee Rose and Lee Savino, Declan, Laurie, and Parker need a happy ending, too! Just sayin’…. lol
Have you been following the series? Do you remember Sunny? You know, Firefox’s ditzy mother with the VW bus? We met her in book 4, “Alpha’s Challenge.” There is so much sexual chemistry between Titus, Tank’s father and Firefox’s mate, and Sunny. Sometimes I could see the humor in the situation because Titus is all alpha wolf, BDSM Dominant. Sunny is the epitome of a free love hippie. Both in their 50s. Watching them come together is like watching fireworks from the 4th of July. But Titus is on a mission for the pack and Sunny just thinks his wolf is his spirit animal not his shifter self. Watching each of these two go through all the changes and jumping hoops is such an emotional journey. Not just for the characters I’ve come to love but for me as a reader.
I hate to sound all fan girl, but I think I have a new favorite book couple. Sunny is so likeable. Her ways are a bit odd, but that just contributes to her charm. Titus is alpha to the core and the “silver” just makes him that much hotter. I love that the authors decided to take on an older couple. This latest book in the series has considerably less action than the previous books, but it’s still seems just as fast paced and just as good. The introduction of so many new characters in this book, gives me hope that the authors plan to continue this series for a while longer.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
I thought this was a very entertaining read! I loved Titus and Sunny and their journey to each other.
I absolutely love these two authors writing separately and together. Their words just seem to flow seamlessly and you don’t know where one starts in the other stops. Titus is just a big softy underneath his gruff exterior. He has A hot and passionate fling with Sunny while he is fixing her van but she moves on when he is asleep. Two years later he happens to bump into her on pack business and the spark is there just like it was two years ago but he fights it tooth and nail. Sunny is a free spirit and she believes in free love. It hurt her heart to leave Titus the way she did but he wasn’t ready for more. Will these two finally get together and find their HEA? Will pack politics tear them apart? I highly recommend this book and can’t wait for more in this series!!!
Who is Sunny? What does she do for a living? Who is Titus? Who are the Black Wolf Contractors? What happens to Sunny after sunset yoga one night? Who did it? Why did it happen? What does Titus do about it? Why is he in Taos? What happened? When everyone gets to the compound, what happens with Alpha Green? Read and see what TItus does and how things change. Easy book to get into and enjoy!!!
