Four men, brought together by fate, connected in more powerful ways than they’d ever imagined. Lidon, the powerful alpha-cop, who helps a vulnerable omega through his heat and connects with him in a way that leaves him reeling. Vieno, the omega who suffers from a medical condition that requires an alpha’s help. It was supposed to be mere sex, but his instant attraction to the alpha goes much … his instant attraction to the alpha goes much deeper.
Enar, the alpha-doctor who works himself to the bone, anything to drown out his inner voices that scream at him he’s not a real alpha.
Palani, the sassy beta reporter who will do anything to save his omega lover and childhood friend, even if it means watching another man claim him.
Amidst political unrest, evidence of corruption and fraud, and a life-threatening medical issue, four men figure out what and who they are to each other. Alpha’s Sacrifice is an MMMM mpreg gay romance and the first book in the Irresistible Omegas series, which combines epic world building with suspense, romance, sexy times, and all the feels. Buckle up for an emotional rollercoaster that will leave you breathless!
This is not a stand-alone and ends on a cliffhanger, but the sequel is already available. Please note the triggers warnings in the front of the book.

The series in MMMM and hot as hell but it also has a lot of depth and an interesting take on omegaverse and consideration of social issues.
Let’s Hear it for M/M/M/M Poly Quads! I am delighted that an author took on a what if four people were meant to be together? Palani and Enar’s chemistry were the two who really hit it out the park for me. Everybody wants the Alphas and Omegas hot but few take on the heat of an incredible beta. It’s sticky underthings from reading time!
Very powerful story and there is so much that happens to all four men that they weren’t expecting. All of them are navigating things they don’t full understand. I don’t normally like a cliff hanger but I knew it going into this story and somehow it seem to fit the mood and theme of the story. I think it worked because while so much is up in the air the core to the men’s relationship felt solid despite the emotional end.
I listened to the audio version and John Solo did a great job of helping to build the tension and the suspense that is a part of this story. It is very well done.
This was a fun, super-sexy romp in one of the the most extreme interpretations of the Omegaverse that I’ve read in a long while. In Nora Phoenix’s interpretation, omegas are very much oppressed, with very few rights whatsoever – including their own reproduction. Birth control and abortions are difficult to obtain, and in the case of the former, rarely work well.
In addition to the relationship between our four MCs, there’s two mysteries to be solved over the ten-book series. The first is why a seemingly super successful birth control drug is being forced off the market before it’s ever properly on. The second is also medical in nature – a strange new gene is popping up in male omegas that makes them utterly irresistible to alphas – and thus puts them in danger during their heats.
I really enjoyed the progression of the storyline (which is interspersed with lots of fun sexy times, if you’re into that kind of thing *wink*). I also really appreciated the underlying current of consent and the efforts our characters went to obtain it. This is definitely an Omegaverse story with a message, which is something I can appreciate.
If you like your Omegaverse with a dash of dystopia and a point to the plot, then you’re gonna love this. I am very much looking forward to where Phoenix takes our characters and concludes her mysteries.
This book packs more of a punch than I had imagined it would from reading the blurb. There are so many exciting things happening. Suspicious deaths, mystery genes, and crooked individuals. This story revolves around an honest alpha cop(Lidon), a compassionate alpha doctor(Enar), a beta reporter who is tenacious about uncovering the truth(Palani), and the omega who has brought them all together(Vieno). I love that there is passion and romance while also having a really interesting story. These men have such an interesting relationship, and are interconnected is such a special way. I am excited to continue their story in the next book.
Brilliant Story & Listen Fascinating & SmokingHot!
Alpha’s Sacrifice: An MMMM Mpreg Romance
Irresistible Omegas, Book 1
By: Nora Phoenix
Narrated by: John Solo
I loved this audiobook, the narrator’s performance is superb and the story is intriguing and captivated my attention from start to end. Nora Phoenix is a gifted author, I enjoyed her writing style and her imaginative mind. She created the fascinating characters and storylines and made them realistic, easy to relate and connect with. The world dynamics is interesting and greatly detailed, the characters continually develop throughout the story and it is great to learn more of them as they discover each other. I adored each of the four leads, Lidon, Enar, Palini and Vieno , two Alphas, a Beta and an Omega. Lidon is a police detective, Palini is an investigative reporter and Enar is a Doctor who bends rules to help those in need. They wind up stumbling on information that is troublesome, they only landed on the tip of the iceberg and have a ways to go before they get to the bottom of it. I am looking forward to what they uncover as the story goes on. The book is cleverly plotted, the romance part of the story is a beautiful thing, pretty darn hot too and the suspense side of the story adds so much more depth, drama and mystery. Nora Phoenix, thank you for this amazing story and the emotional rollercoaster ride. This is the hottest quartet ever!!
I listened to the Audible edition, John Solo does an awesome job bringing these characters to life, he gives each their own distinct voice making it easy to follow along and tell who is who. I love how he has a complete understanding of who each character is, performs the role accordingly and makes it his own. He is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another awesome listen
Four men – two alphas, a beta and an omega – are drawn together in this story about a gene mutation that affects omegas’ heats, resulting in catastrophic consequences for many omegas. In this somewhat dystopian omegaverse, friends Lidon and Enar find themselves helping omega Vieno and his best friend/partner, Palani, with Vieno’s heat, which has threatened his life. I really loved how these men come together, and how their complicated relationships were formed. Though they don’t understand at first what they feel or quite why they feel it, of course, the story is compelling and unexpectedly beautiful. Though it ends on a cliffhanger, it’s a great introduction to these characters. I can’t wait to continue with the series. The narration by John Solo, one of the best in the business, is nothing short of masterful and completely pleasing in every way.
Alpha’s Sacrifice is an unexpectedly fun read. It’s also gay erotica bordering on porn. So in that sense, it’s awesome.
It’s definitely not for everyone though, and that ‘s not even because of the gay raunchiness but for a whole lot of other reasons. First of all, this is a poly-amorous story with four men. Then it’s the fact that the story is set in a somewhat dystopian society where everyone, male and female, are defined and restricted by their inherent position as either Alpha, Beta or Omega. In this world, humans are descendants of wolf shifters but unable to shift. What remains are some animalistic instincts and behaviours, and a very unequal and unfair society where Alphas are kings, Betas constitute the common class and Omegas are repressed and subjugated property. And finally, the Omega males in this world can actually bear children. So. For this read, an open mind is necessary.
What surprised me about this read was that it actually had more content and depth than I ever could have imagined. It wasn’t just a simple f**k-fest. The world-building is quite good. I would have wanted to learn more about the society but instead, readers are only allowed small peeks of it, mainly through the retelling from one of the four main characters. Which is a shame really. The societal hierarchy is super interesting, with the Omegas being discriminated left and right. They’re a weird combination of 50’s housewifes, eager puppys and submissive s*x-addicts. But apart from the similarities to many past and present societies, there’s also an interesting plot being unravelled that centers around a particular Omega gene variant, the medical industry, dirty cops and decisive anti-Omega legislation. So Alpha’s Sacrifice was pretty much a page-turner.
It’s a very well-written book, the characters are engaging and you crave to learn more about them. It is hard though, I think, to manage to develop four characters instead of the more regular two that are found in most romances. Phoenix does a good job of it though, and she’s a great storyteller.
Unfortunately, this is not a stand-alone. So, not only did I not get to know what will happen with the plot, the book also ended just before the first full-on M/M/M/M orgy. Kind of inconsiderate of Phoenix if you ask me. So I suspect I’ll need to read the sequel too. For plot-closure of course.

Why did I wait so long to read this book?! I was hesitant because I often struggle to enjoy books with poly relationships. This book was so great! The world building was phenomenal. This is a well thought out story, there are interesting dynamics between the 4 men as well as a story developing outside of their relationship. I appreciate the warning the author gives about it ending in a cliffhanger but I will say, I still felt very satisfied with how it ended. I’m definitely going to be diving into the second book right away though.
Holy crap!!!
Omg, that was the hottest read ever!!!… and let me tell you, I’m some kind of kinky reader, let me tell you!
Damn!!!… I’m recommending this to everyone I know asap!!!!
On to book two….Eeeek!!!

This was my first mpreg and I loved it. I wasn’t sure about diving into this sub genre of m/m romance, but I loved Nora’s other books so I jumped in. I’m glad I did as the story kept me enthralled throughout the book. This is a story about two alphas, a beta and an omega and the unlikely path they find themselves in. If this is your first read in an mpreg, I think you’ll really enjoy it. If you’ve read it before, then I know you’ll love it!
Oh man is this beyond amazing!
The world the author created with such detail and history is a fantastic read all by it’s self. Then when you add the characters, it’s so much more than that. Plus the dynamics of each individual relationship and what it leads to… Words can’t describe how it feels to read and to become connected to it all. I sense some major world changing and building in the future but probably some serious struggles as well.
4 hot men – 1 omega, 1 beta and 2 Alphas… And a sweet and incredibly sexy storyline wonderfully written by Nora Phoenix. Alpha’s Sacrafice tells the story of Vieno, Palani, Enar and Lidon. Palani is the faithful Beta who will do anything for the Omega he loves – even if that means walk away. Vieno is the adored Omega who loves his Beta best friend but NEEDS a powerful Alpha. Enar is the alpha doctor who helps those in need even if he has to cross legal lines and who has some secrets he hides from everyone but his best friend. And Lidon is an Alpha cop who is loyal to those he loves and Alpha enough to save an Omega in need. Four sexy men brought together by a need, brought together by desire… but will love keep them together?
This book ends on a cliffhanger basically but one that didnt leave me feeling too disappointed or aggrivated. There was just enough detail to satisfy me, for now, until the next book is released. Definitely recommend this book. Can not wait for next book in series.
Such wonderful men, a great story and lots of love.
