MY CAPTIVE. MY MATE. MY PRIZE.I didn’t order the capture of the beautiful American she-wolf. I didn’t buy her from the traffickers. I didn’t even plan to claim her. But no male shifter could have withstood the test of a full moon and a locked room with Sedona, naked and shackled to the bed.I lost control, not only claiming her, but also marking her, and leaving her pregnant with my wolfpup. I … with my wolfpup. I won’t keep her prisoner, as much as I’d like to. I allow her to escape to the safety of her brother’s pack.
But once marked, no she-wolf is ever really free. I will follow her to the ends of the Earth, if I must.
Sedona belongs to me.
Publisher’s Note: Alpha’s Prize is a stand-alone book in the Bad Boy Alphas series. HEA guaranteed, no cheating. This book contains a hot, demanding alpha wolf with a penchant for protecting and dominating his female. If such material offends you, do not buy this book.

Audiobook: Narrator – Benjamin Sands
I enjoyed listening to this one very much. The hero has an accent and this narrator projected it very nicely. There was a time or two that it wavered, but it was still very well done.
When the council members of Carlos’ pack kidnaps and locks Sedona, and then him, in a cell during her mating heat and a full moon, there can only be one outcome. Carlos is furious over the actions taken against her and fights the pull he feels toward Sedona. I liked that Carlos took control of his wolf and forced himself to calm and reassure her even as they became acquainted. From the beginning he tried to protect her. Nevertheless, their passions run high and the mating takes place.
Carlos refuses to keep Sedona when none of what transpired was at her free will. With plenty of machinations by the council they struggle to find a way to make what they have work. Carlos’ actions were not quite what I expected from an alpha wolf but I totally understood why he couldn’t force himself into Sedona’s life. He knew he had to fix his pack, an impossible job, before he could ever bring her into it.
This is a fast paced book, well written and full of plenty of wolf pack dynamics, albeit unnatural ones, and some spanking, steamy scenes. The ending is a happy ever after although there is one plot line that can be picked up in the next book and I must confess I’m extremely curious to see what happens.
I absolutely loved it. I would definitely recommend it.
Book #3, Bad Boy Alphas. Renee Rose & Lee Savino again create a thriller of a shapeshifter erotic romance that holds you hostage to the last page!
Spring break in Mexico. Beautiful, gorgeous, romantic, unbelievable! Walking alone on a beach should be safe enough, right?. Not so much! When Sedona, a female alpha wolf shifter, is attacked, kidnapped, and spirited away, she’s bewildered and frightened. But, most of all, she’s pissed! Her captors drug and move her to who knows where. She’s stripped, shackled in a dungeon with no idea where she is, but she’s mad as hell. When Carlos, alpha of his pack, enters her cell, he’s just as bewildered. Where’d she come from? Why’s she in his compound at all, much less handcuffed in the dungeon? As the door slams shut behind him, the situation becomes all too clear. Two alphas, locked in a dungeon at the full moon, imprisoned by forces unknown. This can’t be good! As Sedona and Carlos battle their animal instincts and try to survive this insanity, fate intervenes. Sedona and Carlos’ lives are changed forever. When both manage to escape, Carlos has to fight to keep his pack safe while Sedona escapes back to her family. But things soon go from bad to worse. In a bid to escape her family’s overprotective coddling and distance herself from memories of Carlos, Sedona takes off. Carlos can’t get Sedona off his mind. As he tracks her down, their reunion is far from blissful. There’s anger, misunderstanding, and uncertainty. And trust? How about nonexistent! As Carlos and Sedona try to make sense of the chaos in their lives, come to terms with what’s happened, there are forces at play of which neither is aware. The ultimate evil is right in front of them, and they’ve no idea just how much jeopardy they’re in. Can Carlos and Sedona move past that first night? There’s so much at stake. It’s not just their lives in the balance. Who hates Carlos so much? Can he trust the members of his pack to have his back? What of Sedona? Can she ever trust any man, especially Carlos, ever again? As the action moves from Mexico to the U.S. and then across Europe, one thing is clear. These two will have to stop fighting each other, reach deep inside, find their inner alphas, and face the ultimate showdown against the most incredible evil they’ve ever known. Ultimately, the outcome rests in their hands. But can they do it? Or will evil win, pull them apart, and tear them, their families, and their packs to shreds?
Renee Rose and Lee Savino are both incredibly talented authors. I’ve read nearly every book each has written. Put them together, and you have a truly amazing powerhouse team. As has happened with each book in this series, once I started reading, I couldn’t stop until I finished. The locations in this story, from the southwest U.S. to Mexico, France, Spain, and beyond, are filled with breathtaking beauty. I felt like I was actually there! The characters in this story are captivating. But it’s the relationship between Sedona and Carlos that’s the heart and soul of this story. The emotions run the gamut of utter terror, desolation, panic, pure joy, delight, astonishment, wonder, and, again, the redemptive and curative powers of the all-encompassing love of family, friends, and pack. Sedona’s an alpha spitfire. Carlos is a typical dominant alpha male. Their relationship shouldn’t work. But Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino have woven the threads of paranormal shapeshifter erotic fiction together with such care and precision that this story not only works but is enchanting and captivating in every way. I give Alpha’s Prize 5 stars! In my opinion, it’s the best book yet in this series! Congratulations, Renee Rose and Lee Savino, on another winner!
One final note. Please be an informed reader and consumer! This is an ADULT book. It contains explicit language and sexual scenes. If you don’t enjoy this genre, think hard before buying any book you know you won’t enjoy. There are book synopses and reviews available on Goodreads and all booksellers’ websites. Use these resources. DON’T LEAVE A NEGATIVE REVIEW WHEN YOU KNOW YOU WON’T ENJOY THE BOOK. It’s not fair to the authors. They work extremely hard to provide a quality work product. If you know you’ll object to the book’s subject matter before you buy it, you’re doing yourself and the authors an extreme disservice.
Thanks for reading my review and happy reading!
YOU ARE THE LIGHT TO MY DARKNESS. YOU BROUGHT ME TO LIFE.
While this is the third book in the Bad Boy Alpha series, it will read well as a stand-alone. It does have mention of a few characters that are in book two, Alpha’s Danger, but those characters are defined enough in this story not to be confusing. Two main characters from book two, Garrett and Amber will be key players in this story. You know you are in for an amazing story with two extremely talented authors collaborating to create this shifter series. The story has mystery, suspense, danger, kidnapping, a rescue operation, secrets, a psychic, and two strong wolf packs that are family and protective of their daughter/sister with plenty of action, angst, and adventure.
With the kidnapping of Sedona, while she was in Mexico on spring break, it will have Garrett and Amber searching for her. He will have to bring in his alpha father from another Pack to locate the kidnappers and Sedona. But will they get to her in time is the question of the hour?
Sedona was drugged and transported by plane, and now vehicle and will be locked and chained down in a dungeon. What do these wolves want with her? The Alpha of the Monte Lobe pack has returned to take his place, and the Elders decide it is their job to continue to control the pack and their Alpha. But to take it as far as to lock him in the dungeon with this beautiful she-wolf will test his limits. As an unmated Alpha, the full moon, and this little she-wolf is ovulating; he can only withstand so much torture. What can he do to protect her from himself? “Being locked in here with you is going to kill me.”
Carlos is a better Alpha that the Council Elders who used traffickers to kidnap Sedona. He refuses to make her be a captive just to appease his pack and will free her to her family and to prevent bloodshed. It will be hard to let her go, she is his mate, but the extenuating circumstances made it not by choice.
“Alpha wolves are dominant wolves. Possessive. Controlling. Even domineering.” By letting her go, is she really free? She may have been his prize, and he has released her, but she is mated and marked. “I might not be locked in a cell anymore, but I’m still an overprotected pack princess. I’ll never be free.”
The plot will have Sedona trying to come to grips with how her life and control has been snatched away from her and now she is not only mated but marked by an Alpha. While what happens to her was out of her control, Carlos is a victim too. Neither one of them is safe, not as long as the Elder Council is still in control, holding the Monte Lobe pack prisoners to their demented schemes.
“Sneaky deaths, silent deaths—it keeps the pack afraid, and quiet. The council’s spies are everywhere. No one speaks up, for fear they might be next.”
Will Carlos and Sedona find the chance for their happily-ever-after future? She hasn’t told him about their pup, but now she fears Don Santiago knows, and that makes it a greater liability for Carlos. Is she the key to helping unlock the chains binding this pack and allow them to move into a future?
“I want it all ways—legal marriage, family ceremony, moon-marked.”
The story has several scenes full of angst, sexual tension, spankings, and explicit sex scenes. I look forward to the next book in the series, Alpha’s Challenge, due out November 2017.
These two incredibly talented women do it again with this pnr. What happens when you’re kidnapped by an alpha wolf’s people? Can Sedona get away? Benjamin did an awesome job narrating.
Uncovering the corruption
This book throws us right into the deep end of the swimming pool, but the authors forget to see if we were able to swim. Yikes! Poor Carlos comes to some horrible realizations throughout the course of this book. He’s kicking himself for most of them, and ends up having to clean house in the end, but fate is on his side when he finds himself a HEA he never expected. I don’t know how the authors think they can top this book, but I can’t wait to see if they accomplish it.
This is the 3rd book of the series and can be read as a stand alone, but I recommend reading the series in order since there are spoilers from the first 2 books throughout :).
I did not enjoy this book as much as I enjoyed the other 2 books, but I still found myself unable to put it down. The characters (good and bad) are very intriguing and the storyline has great details that help the reader really picture where everything is taking place.
It does end on a slight cliff hanger since the last council member is still at large and also thought to be the bad guy that has been taking shifters from other locations. Cant wait to see where that leads and I’m interested if any of the other shifters brought up throughout will get a story (like tigers). I have not looked ahead into this series, I am reading book by book so I can be surprised 🙂
On to book number 4 🙂
3.5 stars
When Carlos’ pack council kidnaps Sedona while in her mating heat, and locks him up with her, there can only be one outcome. He is furious with them. He tried to stay away, and give her time, but the pull is too much. The mating takes place.
Dismayed that Sedona had no free will in the mating, he decides to let her go. They do decide to make a go of it for the good of the pack. Carlos knew his pack was in trouble before this and hopefully Sedona will help stabilize it. He just doesn’t like what the council is pulling.
I like the book and got why Carlos didn’t want to make Sedona stay. There were a lot of pack politics and I liked understanding why they did certain things. The characters were flawed, but likeable, and their sexy scenes were steamy!
I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of the book from NetGalley. The rating and review are my own opinion.
An enticing story that will keep you reading! It was hard to put down, the job kept interrupting me, but it was satisfying to read. Sedona is a strong girl, mentally, physically, emotionally, and Carlos is blind. I loved the progression of the story and how deeply involved the plot goes. The evil is just beginning to be exposed and I am looking forward to seeing where The Harvester will turn up next!
I was afraid I wouldn’t like this one. The premise of the victim falling in love with her kind of captor just seemed a little too psychologically effed up to me and scared the feminist in me. This book is really well written and I honestly am in love with Carlos. He is such a likable male and all of the blame lays with the council which soothes my feminist in me 🙂
Carlos pack is impoverished and he’s determined to do something to change that. The deceit and betrayal by the council run deep. Sedona is an alpha she-wolf, strong willed and determined to live her own life. Carlos doesn’t know who to trust and Sedona won’t let him take control by himself. They still have to deal with the one council member who got away.
The third book in the Alpha Bad Boys series. It takes place in the Alpha world created by Renee Rose. The Bad Boys series can be read as a stand alone. You don’t miss any background if you haven’t read them. But if you love this series, do go and read Renee’s other Alpha’s books.
The third book in the Alpha Bad Boy series takes place during and after the second book.
This collaboration with Lee Savino make for one funny, sexy and action packed book. Once I started reading I couldn’t put this book down.
Sedona was a great character and it was good to see her making her own choices and standing up for herself. Also I loved the fact that she was a female shifter. Carlos was strong, but very caring to those weaker then him. A good Alpha. And sexy too.
Lee Savino and Renee Rose have done it again. They have brought us the 4th entry in their Bad Boy Alphas series. This one is a great addition to the series. It is a complete story on its own, but it helps to further an overarching story arc for the entire series.
Tank is the beta in the Tucson pack. His Alpha, Garett has tasked him with finding out what his mate’s best friend, Foxfire, knows. Tank figures it’s going to be an easy job. Then he actually meets Foxfire and realizes that it’s not the easy job he thought.
Foxfire lets her freak flag fly high. She has rainbow colored hair and her definite personal style. She has a best friend named Amber, who she is fiercely protective about, especially after her disastrous first date with Garrett. Foxfire yells at Garrett and tells him that it doesn’t matter about his Werewolf gang, she will personally kick his rear end if he hurts Amber.
OMG, I LOVE Foxfire. She is a total BAMF, even if she is only 5 feet tall and 120 lbs soaking wet. She is fierce, protective, and compassionate. She’s also a complete free spirit and lives her life her way. What more can you want in a character? I almost feel sorry for Tank. He really doesn’t know what has hit him when he meets Foxfire. Their chemistry is off the chart though, and their sex is great. They also have a great adventure, which is great. Love, love, love this story.
Keeps getting better. I thought Alpha’s Danger was my favorite but this one is even better. With each book the characters individual personalities are defined more so you experience the human wants and not just the wolf drive. Although Sedona and Carlos mating is forced there’s an undeniable chemistry between the two. It’s total sexiness accompanied by a firm hand.
I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest (sort of biased) review.
Every time I review a book by either Renee Rose or Lee Savino I feel like I am just repeating a previous review of another of their books. Oh well, I guess it can’t be helped since they are two of my favorites, and together everything they touch lights me on fire. This book was no different, with its action-packed, lust filled pages. The chemistry between Sedona and Carlos was exactly what I expected it to be, HOT HOT HOT, and the story was full of action and excitement. I loved every second I spent reading this very sexy book, and I can’t wait for the next one!
This book is a sequel to Alpha’s Danger and it tells the story of Sedona and Carlos. Sedona gets kidnapped and sold by traffickers and then ends up meeting Carlos. With whom she gets mated and pregnant by. This story has hot sex including some anal sex. The story has a nice HEA and I loved reading it, now I am looking forward to reading the next volume in this Bad Boy Alphas Series.
A very different story. In the bedroom he’s very Alpha. Out of it he’s a mess. I liked how they resolved things in the end. Very unique. And a HEA, nice.
So far, this is my favorite of the series!! Having two shifters rather than human & shifter as the story was a pleasant change. He never worried about the danger of mating her; just the ethics behind it. Through the other books, we hear a lot about how male alphas act when their mate is not around, and we have gotten hints of it, but nothing long-term. This book shows us this concept beautifully as after he mated her and they got free, he let her go. Then wanted to be with her and went looking for her. Throughout this, my anger just kept growing over his pack and that council, so I was happy when that was all fixed. Overall, great book. I loved both characters and the situation they were in. The only thing I wished for more, was more mention of the baby. She didn’t tell him till the end. I agree with the length of time it took for her to trust him enough to tell him, but I did wish we saw more of that alpha stuff at the mention of the pup. Even in the prologue, it was not mentioned.
I Love These Alpha Shifters Lee Savino
Sedona is a shifter princess…She grew up with her dad as the pack’s alpha, and now her big brother, Garrett is….While on spring break on a beach in Mexico, Sedona is drugged, kidnapped and put in a cage, naked and tied to a bed…..As it happens, she’s been taken for Carlos, by his pack, for breeding purposes….Sedona is brave and strong and terrified…..
Carlos is his pack’s alpha….He’s been away getting his education, and he’s home now to take his rightful place leading his pack…but “the counsel” who has taken charge of the pack has also taken all of his power and the pack’s money under the cover of secrets, and when he is thrown in the cage with Sedona, to mate, he is appalled by the counsel….and, as much as he wants to keep her, and he does….he is determined to set Sedona free…but there’s still the matter of the full moon……
ALPHA’S PRIZE runs concurrently with ALPHA’S DANGER….I loved Carlos and Sedona….I loved the story….I love these alpha shifters….so, I loved this book, too….
This is a standalone, but there is a bad guy who I guess is the bad guy in this entire series so it’s probably best read in order.
The writing this this is fine but I really didn’t like the story. I rolled my eyes when the Mexican Hero told the American heroine that she was the light to his darkness. Even though Sedona is a white wolf, I could have gone the entire book without reading that. Carlos isn’t even dark. He’s just the Alpha of an archaic pack and hasn’t been around to make any changes.
After that I just started having too many questions with the story. Why is Sedona sneaking off Europe after being kidnapped? Why did Sedona’s brother’s mate seem reluctant to use her psychic ability to tell Sedona Carlos was in “mortal danger?” (I assume this is answered in their book.) Why did Carlos feel comfortable to go to Europe when he was finding out serious issues with his mother and pack? Why did his pack have an Alpha if it was obvious they had more power than he did? It was just too many questions.
