I BOUGHT HER. I OWN HER. BUT SHE’LL NEVER BE MINE…A Vampire King… queen…
All my life I’ve trained for one purpose. One ultimate goal: kill the Vampire King.
I expected a fight. Pain. Torture. I didn’t expect to want him. My body is a weapon he turns against me.
But I can’t forget my fallen pack. My quest for revenge. My mission is simple:
Seduce him. Earn his trust. Bring him down.
Above all: don’t fall in love.
This stand-alone romance is the twelfth in the bestselling Bad Boy Alpha series. HEA guaranteed, no cheating. This enemies-to-lovers story contains a cool, collected vampire and the she-wolf sent to bring him down. If such material offends you, do not buy this book.

Another awesome author duo creates a action packed drama, mystery and romance into a story that had me riveted to the pages. Selene is a wolf shifter on a mission to kill the vampire king. She was raised and trained by another vampire who wishes him dead.
But once meeting the king she isn’t sure she should complete her mission. I just cannot share anymore or I might share too much and spoil the story for everyone who might be interested in paranormal romance stories.

Fun yet predictable read
I haven’t read any other books in the Bad Boy Alphas series, Midnight Doms neither, yet it’s not necessary – this book certainly works as a standalone and, as far as I’m aware, all the other books in the two intertwined series do, too.
We start off with a slave auction, where wolf shifters are set to be auctioned off to a vampire master. They’re known as “sweetbloods”, generally for the fact that adrenaline makes their blood taste sweeter, and with shifters, it’s apparently more potent. These slaves are either forced, or are sold off by their families. They receive training, to make sure that they can please their new masters, but this one female wolf is neither a slave, nor truly willing.
Selene has been trained in warfare since the massacre of her family, and trained in submission since she turned twenty-one, by a vampire who apparently wants to help her get back at the vampire who conducted the slaughter: the Vampire King. Her goal – to be bought by the King, so she may have a chance to end his life in turn. Although things don’t quite go as planned, and her attraction to this vampire means that she’s going to have a hard time fulfilling her half of the bargain.
So then, enter Lucius, the infamous Vampire King. He knows something is up when he’s not only enticed towards the auction, which he isn’t particularly a fan of, but is shown a werewolf that is just to his tastes. She reminds him of someone, so of course he presumes it’s a trap. Yet how can he possibly resist? And how can he tame this defiant she wolf, so unafraid of him?
There’s plenty of fun back and forth. Indeed, the training sessions are as steamy as they are fun. Selene is so stubborn, yet can’t resist the lure, each new scene bringing something unexpected to her, despite her previous training.
Yet, somehow, once they appear to “fall in love”, things start to fizzle out, as they both start to settle and become “domesticated”. There’s a twist, which can be seen coming a mile off, and the ending is pretty unsurprising. Once you get into the final third, apart from a couple of little pieces, it becomes quite predictable.
Although, despite the ending, it was still a thoroughly enjoyable read. Maybe I will pick my way through the rest of the two series…
Final rating: – Really liked
omg super sexy. vampires, wolfs, submissives and revenge. Loved it and totally recommend it to everyone
A steamy vampire shifter book that once you start reading you cant stop…once the Vampire King sees her he has to have her even though he knows that he is being set up..she has been trained from childhood to kill him but once she gets to know him she starts questioning herself and realises that everything she has been told about him is not true.

Lucien is an ancient vampire King and Selene is a she wolf assassin sent to kill him. However when she meets him Lucien is nothing like the man she has been told about. Sparks fly between them and soon nothing goes according to the plan. Will Selene come clean and tell Lucien about who she really is? Will he forgive her the deceit she initially had?
This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Selena sure gave Lucius a thing or two to think about. Think you are safe because you are the king of vampires? Think you are safe because you are the owner? You know what they say about assuming … But then that is true for the reader as well, because there are things known as plot twist!

Selene was taken as a young wolf and raised to hate and one day assassinate Lucian the King of Vampires because her mentor said he was the one that murdered her pack. Lucian went to the auctions because he was wanting to shut them down, then he saw her. He knew she had to be part of a coup but he purchased her anyway. The exciting and interesting journey Lucian and Selene were on was not what either expected but as secrets, truths and feelings were revealed their relationship could not be reversed. Fun read

Once again a PNR that is not only well written but whose characters are well developed and engaging and have undeniable chemistry throughout the pages. The storyline offers plenty of twists and drama through the pages.

Ok, I am going to admit it, this is my first book by this author duo and I loved it! I will definitely be checking out the Bad Boys of Alpha series. Selene, a wolf shifter, has trained most of her life to kill Lucius the Vampire King. But things didn’t go as planned and everything takes a wicked hot turn. The chemistry between Lucius and Selene is kindle melting hot! You definitely have to read this book to find out if Selene does what she was trained to do or not. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

I enjoyed this so much. Vampired mixed with shifters and the absolutely hottest scenes. They shouldn’t want each other but they can’t help their body’s response and the pull they have to each other. I loved seeing the push and pull between Selene and Lucius. It’s hot, exciting and with a little suspense.
Two wonderful authors who teamed up to write a fantastic book. I must confess, I am not an avid fan of Shifter or Vampire Romance novels but if there are more books out there like this one, I may have found a new genre to read. I love BDSM books and this one had all the wonderful elements as well as some action, danger and quite a few surprises. The connection between Selene ( a shifter) and Lucius a thousands of years old vampire king is special and actually brought me to tears on several occasions. Don’t miss this one!
True Master 4 stars – It is a well-written story. The BDSM parts were tasteful. There was a lot of build-up in the plot. It is interesting enough but not gripping. I do like the characters and the action scenes. I do think it deserves a follow-up, especially about Selene’s new role. [I received an advanced copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.]
It’s been a long time for Lucius, having someone of his own. Memories from the past keeping haunting him and his new pet she-wolf. But why ?? Has he known her from another life ?? There’s only one way to find out – buy her from the auction that’s being “set up” by his fledgings, looking to overthrow his rule. And then train her to be HIS submissive – only answering to him. But what happens when you both fall in love and one will die, eventually as age creeps in. Do you let her go or make her your Queen ?? Decisions – Decisions.
This is the first book I have read set in this world. It didn’t take long to figure out that Lucius the Vampire King is a Dom, and his wolf shifter, Selene, a sub. There’s so much more to this PNR story than I was expecting. I haven’t read previous books in this world, or any others in this series-this totally had my full attention. I loved it! There were some twists, turns, drama. It had dark & violent parts which suited the story perfectly. I was engrossed in the centuries old unfolding of events leading up to this particular story. I’m definitely going to find more of this series to read.
Though I kinda guessed at some of the plot, I still the love romance between the two characters. Though the nature of the vampires were to be violent, the author showed a gentle side to the FMC allowing for conflict. The dual narratives also helped to show more of the storyline in a shorter time which I think helped move the plot along. I really enjoyed this book a lot, especially the beautifully bloody ending
