I BOUGHT HER. I OWN HER. BUT SHE’LL NEVER BE MINE…A Vampire King… queen…
All my life I’ve trained for one purpose. One ultimate goal: kill the Vampire King.
I expected a fight. Pain. Torture. I didn’t expect to want him. My body is a weapon he turns against me.
But I can’t forget my fallen pack. My quest for revenge. My mission is simple:
Seduce him. Earn his trust. Bring him down.
Above all: don’t fall in love.
This stand-alone romance is the twelfth in the bestselling Bad Boy Alpha series. HEA guaranteed, no cheating. This enemies-to-lovers story contains a cool, collected vampire and the she-wolf sent to bring him down. If such material offends you, do not buy this book.

Holy Moly!! I knew going into this book that I would enjoy it, only because it was written by Renee Rose and Lee Savino. I’m HUGE fans of their separate and combined works. That being said, I feel comfortable with the outcome of their books, I just have to kick back and enjoy the fine details they always provide in the middle. YEAH, you’d think that wouldn’t you? NOT!! I was on the edge of my seat with my heart hammering at certain parts of the book and then there were parts that really did just about break my heart and brought tears to my eyes. This wasn’t my usual Alpha Bad Boy story with some BDSM scenes. THIS was had teeth that bit back and made me sit up and pay attention while I was getting my feel goods. Great job to both you ladies. I would love for this one to be the start of something more to follow. It would be great to see how it ultimately plays out.
I voluntarily read an advance reader copy and my opinion are my own.

Through all the opstical and turn that happened.
This book left me satisfied.
Steamy read
Lucius and Selene are two people who have painful pasts, that are brought together by deception. Will she be able to kill the man that she has come to care for? Will he be able to forgive her for her deception? This is another steamy read with endearing characters.
I had the opportunity to read an advanced copy of the latest Alpha Shifter series by Renee Rose and Lee Savino. In this installment, we get the full backstory of a reoccuring character, Lucius Frangelico, the Vampire King. I love the way Ms. Rose and Ms. Savino have built this character up over the last several books in the series. We’ve gotten bits and pieces, but here, we have the chance to really get the full picture of Lucius, in all of his sadistic beauty!
Lucius is such a great character to really sink your teeth (!!!) into because he’s complex, arrogant, twisted and basically exhausted by all the coups and betrayals from his sired over the millennia. He takes a young she-wolf as a submissive at a shifter auction, mainly since she’s the image of his first and only vampire lover, Georgianna. Of course, he knows he’s being set up by his sired, but cannot resist her sweetness and innocence.
Selene is the young she-wolf who has been trained her whole life to hate and kill vampires, yet from the first, she cannot escape or deny the pull and desire she feels for Lucius. She hates all vampires, being told by the one-eyed vampire that Lucius is the reason her pack was slaughtered. All she’s lived for is revenge. This creates a wonderful back and forth, push/pull throughout the book. They have some witty banter and some of the best lines that I’ve read in the series. The whole “Monty Python and the Holy Grail” dialogue and ongoing gag throughout the book is giggle worthy!
Okay, it’s official. “Alpha’s Blood” is now my favorite story in Renee Rose and Lee Savino’s Bad Boy Alphas series. After all the negative portrayals of Lucius Frangelico, I absolutely loved reading a story from his perspective and it was all that and more. So much more. And Selene is an amazing counter-balance to his finesse — she is the sword and he is her wielder. Likes: Everything about this story ticked off all the items that makes for good storytelling; especially in a paranormal romance, the characters were developed well, the story moved at an even pace, the development of their relationship (while fast) wasn’t instantaneous, and their scenes together—both romantic and otherwise (especially the otherwise) were fabulous. I so loved the development of their own private jokes. While I obviously recommend starting with book 1, each of the stories in this series are relatively standalone and if you could only choose one, THIS ONE!!
Alpha’s Blood by Lee Savino is a wonderful story that I have read. This is book number one in this wonderful start to a brand new series that I have loved reading and can not wait to read the rest of this wonderful series. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about dark erotica and paranormal romance.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I’m not dead yet
I really enjoy when these two authors pair up to bring us a steamy addition to their alphas. This book might be the beginning of an offshoot series, but we still get to see some of our favorite characters from previous books and see the same level of danger and excitement we have come to expect. I love how these two come together in a slow burn romance, the authors allow the truth to come out naturally and with all the steamy scenes we love to read from this writing duo. I really enjoyed this book and I am looking forward to seeing where the series goes next.
I received a copy of this book via BookSprout and the authors and am leaving my review voluntarily. I also purchased a copy through Amazon. LOL – While this is a standalone, it is the start of a multi author series.
Triggers: well, it’s a vampire story so there will be killings, bloodshed and some violence, there are no sparkly vampires though (thank goodness) this story does contain bdsm elements and power exchange scenes
**spoilers **
Lucius, the Vampire King and Selene, beautiful wolf shifter bent on revenge for the slaughter of her family and pack.
Selene, unknowingly becomes the tool to try to murder Lucius. Lucius, is not a fool and suspects from the beginning that Selene may try to kill him.
Lucius, while he is the Vampire King, also is a powerful Dom. He expects submission from others. Selene pretends to be a submissive to get closer to him. What she didn’t intend was to want to submit to him. To enjoy the pain and pleasure he gives her.
Sexy time. Drama. Betrayal. Fighting. HEA
I enjoyed this story. These 2 authors are a great writing team.
Selene and Lucius are Hot!!
This is the first story in the Midnight Dom series. Lucius is the Vampire King. He owns Club Toxic where the upstairs is a regular dance club and downstairs is a BDSM club.
Lucias is the Vampire King in Tucson. He is trying to make the local shifters, led by Garrett allies instead of enemies. All is going fairly ok. Then, he meets the wolf shifter Selene! The sparks fly. Can these two enemies find the love that the animal magnetism is
Putting into the air so obviously?? Great Job by these Authors!
Even if you expected the Spanish Inquisition (inside joke – read to learn more) you will enjoy this book
Lucien is a 2000 year old vampire that has lived long enough to seen and lost everything that matters… his love, his “children’s” loyalty, and he hasn’t seen a sunset in two millennia. Selene is smart, funny, fierce she wolf trained for one thing… revenge. And together they steam and sizzle, healing each other’s wounds with truth and submission. Lee Savino and Renee Rose are two brilliant (my humble opinion) authors that weave a story well balanced with wit, humor, fabulous dial, multidimensional characters and creative plots that keep the reader engaged and a bit titillated from beginning to end. This is another successful addition to the Bad Boy Alphas series and I recommend it wholeheartedly.

First book by Renee Rose & Lee Savino. It was really good. If you love Vampires and Shifters and a lot of kink and some suspense, then you need to read this book. You will enjoy it.
I love the ending, but it took me a bit to get there. Great storyline and interesting characters, but a little dry. The idea, more than the words, kept me reading
This is my first book from this series and it can easily be read as a standalone.
Selene is a young wolf shifter who has spent her early adult years training for one task. To seek vengeance for her packs brutal slaughter. Xavier knew the truth behind the massacre. He sought her out, brought her into his home, provided her with the training required to implement justice. It was lonely. At times extremely brutal but she knew it was necessary to become the perfect weapon. She was ready.
Lucius, the reigning king of vampires, was bored. there was not much left on this earth to surprise him. Despite knowing he would not participate Lucius attends an auction that offers trained willing pets. The little white-haired beauty that is headlined as the perfect submissive turns out to be not so submissive. Knowing something is not quite right but unable to pass up the draw of a little excitement and possibly the taste of conquest – He bids – He wins – He owns.
Sometimes the truth is more painful than the lie.
I want to be careful not to give out spoilers. Despite this being a quick read I found myself drawn to the main characters from the opening scene. The storyline is easy to follow with perfectly timed surprises to keep the reader engaged and definitely entertained. You know who the villain is, you know who the hero is, yet you still don’t see it coming.
Selene was not afraid to accept her feelings which I was so happy for. She did not do the wishy-washy want him don’t want him, that so many heroines do. The chemistry between these two was electric. They never fell under the pretense that they were anything other than mater/pet – target/assassin. A werewolf can’t fall in love with a vampire, right?
I would enjoy a story that has what happens after. I also am going to go back and see if any of the supporting characters have their own stories as I really really enjoyed them. All the cast was quite enchanting, to be honest.
Renee Rose and Lee Savino bring us the story of the vampire King. Frangelico has known that he had traitors in his midst. Selene wants to avenge her pack and will do so by getting close to the enemy so that she can kill him. How will it all work out!
I rally enjoyed the character development of the Frangelico. I also loved the fact that Selene is a tough as nails chick who will do anything for those she cares about! A must read in the Bad Boy Alapha’s series!
A devious plan goes super awry when a shifter fans for the vampire king. Then, everything Selene thought she knew is wrong. A lot of drama unfolds, and Selene gets her HEA. Loved this story!!!
Lucius and Selene!!!!!
Lucius King of Vampires, gorgeous, dominant, and with a gentle and lonely heart.
Selene, a wolf shifter, out on revenge!
When they meet and learn the truth about each other!
It’s epic! I loved, loved this book!!
Another amazing, freaking fantastic story. There is definitely a thin line between love and hate and how that line can be manipulated to do someone’s else’s dirty work.
Lucius, the Vampire King, sees Selene, a she-wolf at a shifter auction and knows he must have her but Selene has an ulterior motive or so she thinks. As Lucius and Selene get to know one another, both become more and more intrigued by each other and perhaps their initial reason for seeking the other out will change to something more….but only if the external forces trying to destroy the bud of something beautiful can be revealed and destroyed.
Another strong story from the incredible writing team of Renee Rose and Lee Savino. The authors wrote powerful characters that I fell in love with. I cannot get enough of this series. I read Alpha’s Blood straight through and all my chores were waiting for me to finish the book. Full of heat, passion, distrust and love. The story flowed and I was sad when it ended. This story was definitely different from previous books from the authors, and of course they hit it out of the park!
I received an advanced reader copy and voluntarily gave my honest opinion.
I feel torn about this book. I’ve read every book in the Bad Boy Alphas series, I’m a fan of both authors individually & as a joined writing team. But it’s a vampire book. Ugh. It is probably weird that I love the shapeshifter stories but when it comes to vampires – no thanks. But I kind of felt like I’d be letting my self-imposed commitment to this series down if I didn’t at least give it a shot. I can honestly say that I really enjoyed it. Sure, there were parts when it was almost too much vampire but overall it just skirted that limit for me & I ended up becoming engrossed in the relationships.
Another fantastic read in this series by Renee and Lee, this one is all about the Vampire King, Lucius. He is very old but very handsome, extremely powerful, domineering and very bored. He goes through life expecting assassination attempts from his sired vampires as they try to take over his kingdom, but he ends up killing them instead, adding to his years of murders and atrocities. He has only ever loved once and was betrayed and had to kill her. He never again wants to experience that.
He has heard that wolf-shifters are being sold to vamps as pets and decides to investigate, and ends up purchasing one for himself in the hope that it might relieve his boredom as he trains her to be his submissive.
Selene is anything but submissive. Her family was killed by Lucius and she has been raised and trained to kill him. All she has to do is get his attention enough so that he buys her. What she doesn’t expect is the kind, gentle and caring nature of Lucius, something she is not used to at all, and this throws her and she ends up falling for him… yet she still has plans to kill him.
Lots of passion and chemistry that literally pours off the pages as you are reading it!! A great story line with lots of twist and turns to keep you on your toes. Highly entertaining reading.
