Omegas belong to the king. But this one belongs to me. KingsleyAt the frat party, someone must have spiked my beer, because I see a bright light and find myself sitting on a bed with a huge, green monster looming over me. I screech and throw every sharp object within reach. But you know what’s really weird? I’m terrified and, at the same time, there’s something about those black eyes, that scent, … those black eyes, that scent, that purrrr that makes my body come alive.
Loven
I fight for the honor of someday owning an Omega—a rare breeding female reserved for Alphas hand-selected by the king. For years, fighting alone has been enough. Until I scent this alien female, and my body emits a mating call.
Omegas are the king’s property. If I don’t deliver her to the Omega Compound, I’ll lose my life, the lives of my Horde Alphas, and risk starting a full-scale rebellion. And yet, I can’t part from her. This one belongs to me.

For a long time I didn’t enjoy reading so much anymore and even laughed out loud in several places.
A clear recommendation for everyone who enjoys getting to know foreign worlds and cultures and when our views on how life should be today have to deal with other approaches and ways. It is important to relax a little, not to take oneself and others too seriously and to be able to take oneself back from time to time in order to maintain freedom of movement for everyone.
Wonderful, amusing characters also beside H/h, everything very beautifully round and easy to read. Thanks for the entertainment, I really appreciate it.
The alpha and omega
I hope there will be one of these books for all of the brothers and Vemlox! What a great read! She may not have wanted to end up on an alien planet, but at least it saved her from who ever spiked her drink. I enjoyed it as these two overcame the obstacles towards their HEA and when Kingsley finally realized she loved the big guy. I think I figured out the kings secret, but only time will tell. I look forward to reading the next book.
I liked this omegaverse book. It was interesting but without any triggers that are usually found in this genre. Two different species that meet , fall into lust and then fall in love. There is some upheaval caused by the bonding between Loven and Kingsley with a continuing storyline leading into the next book. This couple does get a happy ending. I will be reading the next book in this series.
Oh my, a new favorite author.
I like this story, a lot. And I really like the ideas the author comes up with for her world. A horde on mindless killing spree for their king, finding out there might be more to life and the results it may bring. The intrigue is exquisite. Furthermore both the main characters are pretty awesome. The trippin student, that found out she wasn´t trippin, is fun and has a brain of her own. The alpha is sexy as ell, especially as he is found to actually use his brain during the story. Who knew it would turn out to be such a turn on? I find this author is into something major here. Brain activity is sexy, ell yeah. And brain activity does not mean the story can´t be fun and hilarious, as well as sexy. Everything about this story is pretty awesome. The dialogue is hilarious, no matter who is in the spotlight in this story … Have no idea how an author can manage that. Even the supporting cast is interesting. Small tidbits are interesting, hiding here and there in the story. The whole story is interesting, funny and sexy. Just don´t know in which order those words should be. Easy 5 stars. Both narrators are good as well. Excellent even.
A new author to me, love how she uses her words, her ideas and how she works those ideas. Am looking forward to consume more of her books. Very happy customer here. Thank you!
A simplistic read hides the humorously hot romance of a warrior and his omega woman. Beware a portal could whisk you away, too. Hopefully, you also would end up in the muscular arms of a growly, green monster intent on boinking your brains out. I’m told it’s a very pleasurable experience.

An upcoming release for Milana Jacks had been showing up on my feed, so I decided to check out some of her previous books to get a feel for her writing. I found Alpha Breeds and started reading. Alpha Breeds was intriguing, unique, funny, and steamy.
Loven, our alpha among alphas, has been fighting for his King for years in hopes that one day the King will grant him the privilege of sharing an Omega, which is controlled by the King. There are not enough Omega’s, so the alpha’s share them for breeding only. Imagine his surprise as he walks to the bedroom after a vicious fight to see a strange alien (human) female in his room…screaming and smelling like nothing he has ever scented before. Uh oh…could these two be meant for each other?
Kingsley just started her freshman year of college. She is more at home with an enjoyable book than a frat party, but her new roommate talks her into going to the frat party…that party would change Kingsley’s life forever. Imagine Kingsley’s surprise when there is a flash of light and she is suddenly in a strange room.
These two have an instant alpha/omega connection but struggle with communication and breaking through traditional role expectations. BTW, Loven’s grand gesture towards the end almost broke my heart and was totally swoon worthy!
This book had me laughing, on the edge of my seat, cheering, angry and even tearing up a little. I read this book in one night because I just couldn’t stop turning the pages. I had become invested in the storyline and totally charmed by the characters. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the Horde series and thought this book was out of the world (yeah, I know I just got really corny, but I liked the book)! If you like growly aliens with a heart and strong females this is the book for you!
Oh, Kingsley and Loven! This my first omegaverse, and it was fun. Fun enough for me to buy the second audio book version of this. I will admit, I did have to roll my eyes at his alpha thing and her omega thing, but after a little while I got into it. I figure that’s part of this omegaverse. Really good heat. Even though Loven is an alpha, he isn’t pushy or weird to Kingsley. As a couple, I can see them going places. Thank you for the wonderful listen!
Lily S. Thomas – Author of the Galactic Courtship series
Book one in a STEAMING HOT alien omegaverse romance. A woman who manages to fall straight into another world, all she wants to do is go home, but powerful lust between her and dominant Alpha who falls prey to her omega dynamic gets in the way.
I loved who raw and real the characters are. This book is full on steam and is a MUST read.
50 Shades Alien Style…8-5-2020
So, I accidentally skipped this series and started the spin-off series (The Hordesmen) first… now that I have read this book, I better understand the both series storylines. Once you get past the ALPHA attitude about females and accept the world Milana Jacks has built, you will enjoy the storyline. FYI, when I say this is 50 Shades Alien Style, I mean sex talk is blunt and abundant!
This world is a bit over the top for me, but I love the interactions between Kingsley and Loven. Their first meeting especially, where she throws weapons at him, is hilarious. And when he thinks she gone near the end is so sweet.
The beginning of the Alpha Horde series. An unexpected human Omega ends up on Regha after having inadvertently finding a space gate. Loven who is very loyal to his King ends up enchanted with this “Alien”, and he starts to question the current Omega laws.
Kingsley brings out emotions he has always thought he was incapable of. With there bonding they make a stand to get others to join them and take the fight to their King.
Huge Milana Jacks fan, love her books, writing style and humor. Her books never fail to sate the paranormal/sci-fi fan in me and the heat, whew the heat. Her alphas are all alpha, when she writes their thoughts, they are all man, she nails it every time. Kingsley is at a frat party, sees a light…..and ends up in a huge alien’s room. She is convinced that someone spiked her drinks and she is tripping….until she wakes up and finds out it’s all real. Loven is the Alpha leader of his Horde for their King. When they find Omega’s, in their world, that is females that can have babies, they take them to the King. Well, they are supposed to, but he wants to keep her for himself, especially after he finds out they are compatible. When he doesn’t take her to his King and other Alphas smell her…shit gets real.
This was a safe read. A little om and ow, the ow just in the beginning before he finds his treat aka Kingsley, in his room, his brother offering him a female…that he turns down, even before he meets his future Omega. The om, these Alphas want their own Omega and once the others smell her….shit gets crazy and he has to fight everyone off, all while being on their King’s hitlist. He is definently all Alpha and cracks me up, but he is also sweet to her. He builds her a bathroom and she has a pool too that she loves. I really liked all the secondary/supporting characters and it cracked me up every time they referred to her as “The Kingslayer”, translating her name Kingsley…a tiny blond from California…lmao..I can’t even.? Love all the sarcastic guy humor, her Alpha’s are always blunt and right to the point, I just love it. Naughty af. These two were hot af, lots of baby batter, an epilogue and an hea. Next book please. Book crack series.
Really liked this book/ this series!!
I’ve struggled with Omegaverse for awhile now- and I’ve tried several series by several authors. Overall, it hits all my key areas: dystopian, alpha, J/P, not-quite-human H, heat factor.
But I also like a bit of a HEA, characters connecting beyond the bedroom (hallway, kitchen, forest, cave.) I find, overall (FOR ME) Omegaverse to be a bit… too dark. Too cold. Now I LIKE dark. But, I find I really need that element of… connection to really enjoy a story (trope?)
I’m very happy and pleased to have found this series, by Miliana Jacks. She gives you all the good parts of Omegaverse with an emotional element I prefer.
Thank you!! I recommend and will continue to read -look for more!
First time author for me. I really enjoyed this book. I don’t usually read SF if the aliens aren’t at least humanoid looking. And these aliens are anything but. This author found a way to write this story that was enjoyable and easy to read. She made the aliens more relatable. The characters were very likeable.
I highly recommend this book.
This was my first read for the author, and I will admit the writing style was a little different than what I was expecting but I was still pulled into the story and the world the author created. Loven is alpha thru and thru, and I really loved how she would give as good as she got. I can’t wait to read the next book.
Alpha Breeds (Alpha Horde #1) was an imaginative take on the whole Omegaverse genre that has become extremely popular recently: this one takes us off world through a doorway to another planet opening up a whole new realm of possibilities.
Unfortunately, I don’t think this was taken advantage of fully as for me though this was an enjoyable story It really could have been that much more than it actually was.
The lightest and most laid back to date of the Omegaverse fiction that I have experienced and there was a lot here that I really liked: but also some things that didn’t quite work or could have been expanded on much more than they actually were
So I did think the world building here was a tad lacklustre: not explained in enough detail for me to get a picture fully formed in my head: the foundations and ground floor were all there but the first floor needed some work if you get my drift.
Certain situations were also not expanded on so I was somewhat confused at times: an example when Leven lost his armour leaving himself unprotected I wasn’t sure how this had occurred.
Was the armour just that a body-shield that he had discarded or was it actually organic.
I realised later it was more organic but I checked back twice to see if I had missed the memo.
There were other oversights like this as well.
I also wasn’t a big fan of Kingsley and did find her somewhat self-absorbed and whiny.
She also didn’t seem that bothered about the family she had left behind on earth hardly giving them a second thought: found that one a bit bizarre myself.
They obviously have no clue as to her fate: but she doesn’t seem even slightly concerned about easing their minds.
She also seemed to accept her situation after the initial screamfest really swiftly indeed.
Now for what I did like: I loved the Alien appearance of the Alphas they were almost reptilian in there appearance: snake-like.
Loven is Seven-foot and sage green Alien with black eyes and lips.
He has no ears a flat nose and also a forked tongue: He’s bald with long hair braids sprouting from the back of his head: he also has a pair of four inch long canines.
With glowing serpent tattoos on both his arms, he’s quite the exotic Alien Alpha.
This Alphas purr is described as akin to that of a rattlesnake which is certainly different.
There’s also nesting and knotting as well as the purring and obsession: but all with a much more softer and more humorous vibe than I’ve come to expect from this particular genre.
Ir really made a nice change to experience this genre in a less intense way.
So, this was my first experience with this author and I will be continuing on here as I’m curious to see what is to come next.
I enjoyed this and though I had some issues it was still an interesting read and as such I am on board to see if book two builds on the foundations started here.
I borrowed this with my KU subscription.
All opinions expressed are entirely my own.

Interesting take on an alien abduction. This was a good story with great characters. It had a nice steady pace and was easy to read. Some parts dragged a little, but it picked up near the end and was fine. I loved the concept and the idea that some aliens really don’t know that Earth girls are easy. Loven was a sweet alien abductor and when he falls for the naive college girl, no one is more surprised than he is.
Loven it
Kingsley is just starting out life. Her first year at college, her first time spreading her wings – her first time seeing an alien ?
Loven and his men just completed their conquest – he is bloody, sated and does not find it necessary to sample or play with the spoils -He just wants to clean up – Only there is a tiny, breakable but extremely violent female in his quarters trying to kill him?? Darn if she doesn’t smell like Stubborn and Mine?
If it smells like an Omega and acts like an Omega is It an Omega?
This is one of the better Omegaverse stories – a uniquely crafted cosmos with a creative plotline that kept me engaged and entertained dotted with unique characters that are fun and easy to connect with.
Kingsley is a little spitfire, once she realizes its not the beer (so not telling) she takes stalk of her new reality and does her best to adapt. Loven only knows that he can not let the little female go -something is calling to him to protect her even if it is with his own life.
This was a truly enjoyable read and I am dying to see where this goes – I am pretty sure I know what the king is doing but you never know.
I definitely want more!!
This was an interesting and sexy read!! the Omegaverses are often unusual places and this one was no difference. I loved how the story developed as did the attraction between characters.
Loved the way it ended and Im looking forward to where the story goes in the future books!!
Kingsley finds herself somewhere she shouldn’t be. Is this some kind of hallucination she is having? Or has the impossible happen?
Loven, an Alpha of Regha finds a surprise in his room. Who is this stranger? Most importantly, why does she smell like an Omega? What smells like one, acts like one, begs likes one must be an Omega, right?
This is a new series from this author and as a starter, it is a really good read. Of course, I am a little bias as I am currently an obsessed M/F Omegaverse fan. This fits all the requirements to help fill in the dry spell. Waiting is a drag, LOL. Of the books I’ve read by his author, I really like the humor she writes in. They bring a lightness to the more series issues that the characters encounters. I can’t wait to see what happens next as it appears that this particular horde won’t settle til each Alpha has an Omega to themselves.
