The classic operative re-activated but not hackneyed. Worth a read.
Too slow to start
Good read. Character introduction was a little slow but action was entertaining. The ending left the door open for a second or series of books but didn’t really finish the story.
Highly recommended. This book drags you in & keeps you involved. Serious page-turner.
If you are into Tom Clancy or Robert Ludlum, you will enjoy Steven Konkoly’s Alpha.
It is definitely a fast read and page turner. It was one of those that i didn’t want to end and found out it doesn’t with 3 more books to follow. So I will be busy for a little while with this series and am interested in seeing what his other novels are like.
Writing was just okay. It took me several chapters to understand what was going on. In fact I am still a little hazy on who the actual protagonist is.
I look forward to reading other books by this author – it was a very good book and was hard to put down. I just wish that it had been longer. Political thriller – loved it!
This was just Ok. There was so much about the mission prep and how this and that is done rather than moving the story forward. I skimmed a lot of it.
Great book! If you’re a Lee Child fan, give this one a try!
Very entertaining.
Great book, but it ended without ending and I guess you have to go to the next book to see what happens
Good thriller
Good read. Good action.
A lot of action. Stretches belief a bit. Much too much gratuitous killing.
A lot of action but unrealistic
Can’t wait to read the others.
Alpha is the first book in the Black Flagged series. You can read this as a standalone. There is a lot of violence.
The book blurb adequately describes the storyline so I’m not going to repeat that all of that info here. This is a fast paced action packed book. There are clues in the storyline that keep you guessing what will be revealed next. As …
Moved around too much hard to keep people interested
