Great read for the romantic.
Loved it
The cowboy in this book is so romantic and sweet in his pursuit of a special girl.
Always a great read when you hear about a good guy getting the lady
Texas Lawmen Book 3: ALONG CAME A RANGER by Debra Holt was a very interesting, riveting story filled with romance, humor, mystery and adventure.
I really enjoyed this book and hope to read the other books.
Kept my interest, Good story
This is the first book I read of Ms Holt’s series Texas Lawmen , as well as the first book I read by this author. I have to say I not only enjoyed it , but was happy that it truly was a stand alone book in the series.
The story centers around Stacy Smith and Davis McKenna. Stacy is a successful romance author who meets Davis, a Texas Ranger, in the hotel’s gym and later they get stuck in the hotel’s elevator.
As attracted as she is to him, once she finds out he is a “cowboy” she refuses to go out with him.
Stacy’s childhood was not an easy one and her dislike of cowboys stems from that experience.
It was interesting to see these two develop and on again ,off again relationship. They have their adventures. She loves his hometown, McKenna Springs, and the townspeople end up admiring her, and consider her a friend.
The plot was entertaining and full of sub-plots. The characters were likable, though at times I got exasperated with Stacy.
I see potential for more books in this series.
I was gifted this copy by Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
Good read
Enjoyable read not fantastic but not bad
I couldn’t finish this book. The dialogue was stilted and formal and the story line just didn’t grab me.
Great story!!
Great story, could not put down.
Loved this book so exciting
Unpredictable,action packed and entertaining.
Loved the characters and the plot’s story line!!
Enjoyed the way this romance developed and the build up to the rescue of the child. This is a nice read although it does contain mild explicit sex descriptions.
I enjoyed the setting in Texas with a ranger and an independent author who talks herself into saving a child.
this was an interesting read.
I don’t appreciate sex in the first few pages
