No cowboys allowed. That is Stacy Smith’s motto. Having overcome a rough childhood, she vows to not repeat the same mistakes that her mother made. Writing bestselling romance novels as Sabrina Noelle, she is happy to stay in her ivory tower, creating perfect worlds for her heroes and heroines that keep her busy and her heart whole. Texas Ranger Davis McKenna handles crisis situations on a regular … on a regular basis. But when he is stranded in a hotel elevator with a gorgeous woman on the verge of panic, he soon realizes that there’s more at play than just his protective instincts.
Take one determined Texas Ranger and one equally stubborn romance author and there is bound to be a showdown at high noon where desires and hearts are concerned. Can Stacy risk opening her heart to the man who represents everything she never wanted?

Loved this book. The hero had so many wonderful qualities. I will look for more of her books.
A relaxing read. Moments of suspense with a realistic ramp down.
Very entertaining, good storyline..new author for me!!
Great!
Good read!
Loved it. Stacy had to learn to trust this cowboy, and Davis was patient with her. When she went off to save Lizzie, she was smart and left a note behind as to where she went.
A very fast read
I read the series great books
Even though worthwhile I wanted to shake her, the heroine and the cow boy are well developed and I enjoyed the book.
I really liked it and would read more by this Author. Looked forward to picking up the book so I could continue the story.
Truly sweet story!
Like this very much.
Very good
I enjoyed reading this book. One I will reread!
Great book……….couldn’t put it down. Read in less than a day.
Enjoyed the people and how their relationship turned out.
I LOVED this story. The hero is to die for. He is tall, gorgeous, kind, loving a cowboy and a Texas Ranger. OMG do they get any better. The story is about a romance writer with a few issues of her own. One, she won’t write about or date a cowboy. Then the hero steps in front of her and all her girly parts go on high alert. It is a very good story, great characters, at times a little teary when she becomes a hero. It is a great read. I highly recommend it. Hard to put down once you start reading. Really enjoyed this series
So funny I remember the signs hanging up on the Clubhouse “NO GIRLS ALLOWED”…I thought about that when I read this book but a sign that said ” No Cowboys Allowed”. Yep in this book we have a romance author Stacy Smith who grew up with a mom who shall we say for was a Buckle bunny. It left Stacy with a bad taste for Cowboys that is for sure and she vowed never to go down that path herself.
Well, wouldn’t you know the ONE man who happens to Float her boat is Texas Ranger Davis McKenna. He does not then that even though she is bound and determined to NOT let him in. I love it when the man lets the lady know that he wants her but he doesn’t push to much BUT just enough. Maybe it is that good Texas teaching in him. This book was gifted to me for my own opinion and no one else’s. The fact that they gifted it has nothing to do with my opinion.
Along Came a Ranger is book three in the Texas Lawmen series. Stacy is a romance author who is determined not to make her mother’s mistakes. That means no cowboys for her. But when she meets Davis, cowboy and Texas Ranger, could she break her own rules? Davis goes into protective mode when they meet, trying to calm Stacy. But can he find more in her than just a damsel in distress? This book was really good, and I definitely recommend it.
