She’s got big plans for her tropical bed and breakfast, but the new high-rise resort in the bay is throwing a wrench into everything. So Stacey Stapleton does what any savvy businesswoman would do—she goes to spy on the resort stealing her business and ruining the beautiful Getaway Bay skyline.
Her undercover operation doesn’t do more than show her how flawless the Sweet Breeze Resort is—and … Sweet Breeze Resort is—and that the owner is as handsome as he is smart.
Though annoyed by the new resort, Stacey focuses on Aloha Hideaway Inn, more determined than ever to give tourists the vacation of their lives. But when a tropical storm hits the bay, she and her guests have to take refuge in the high-rise hotel she hates.
Not only that, but the more time she spends with Fisher DuPont, the owner of Sweet Breeze, the more she has to admit that he’s not a monster.
Can Stacey and the Aloha Hideaway Inn survive strange summer weather, the arrival of the new resort, and the start of a special relationship?

Very predictable
I love beach reads. I love any of Elana Johnson’s books. This was an easy click for me. I really enjoyed it!
Not a book that you couldn’t put down.
Really enjoyed this sweet, clean story. I’ve always wanted to visit Hawaii. This story made me almost feel like I had. Looking forward to reading the next book in the series!
The Brainy Billionaire is a sweet romance that was an enjoyable read. Stacey inherited a small B&B from her grandfather. She has a good business but is concerned when a rich man opens a high story luxury resort on the island. When she spent a night at the hotel to see how her B&B compares, she meets a man she can’t stop thinking about. Then she finds out he’s the owner of the new resort.
Fisher DuPont has opened the resort that he has planned from start to finish. In order to make sure everything is running perfectly, he goes undercover in each department & works for a time. When he was working room service, he met Stacey Stapleton & was intrigued. Can they make a relationship work?
Fisher & Stacey have both been damaged by relationships. Fisher was targeted for his money where Stacey believed in love & was burnt. I enjoyed the story & the main characters. The real color is added by their friends & the way they acted to their relationship. If you are looking for a clean romance, give this on a try.
This is a sweet and clean story about career driven people who have had their fingers badly burnt. Stacey has had more than enough of men who can’t be trusted, and Fisher has left his biological father’s business domain to branch out on his own. When he meets up with Stacey, firstly in the room she rented in his hotel for the night, he is attracted to her feisty manner and red hair. However, breaking through her wall of resistance is a tad more than difficult. Billionaire romances aren’t my favourite genre, however, in this case, Fisher does not come across as arrogant or egotistical. Stacey on the other hand, has had to fight for everything she has achieved, and she is well grounded and rooted in the island. The story flows easily, although there are a few typos and missing word. Nevertheless, the plot is enjoyable and kept my interest. The book is part of a series, but it is a stand-alone. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
