She’s got big plans for her tropical bed and breakfast, but the new high-rise resort in the bay is throwing a wrench into everything. So Stacey Stapleton does what any savvy businesswoman would do—she goes to spy on the resort stealing her business and ruining the beautiful Getaway Bay skyline.
Her undercover operation doesn’t do more than show her how flawless the Sweet Breeze Resort is—and … Sweet Breeze Resort is—and that the owner is as handsome as he is smart.
Though annoyed by the new resort, Stacey focuses on Aloha Hideaway Inn, more determined than ever to give tourists the vacation of their lives. But when a tropical storm hits the bay, she and her guests have to take refuge in the high-rise hotel she hates.
Not only that, but the more time she spends with Fisher DuPont, the owner of Sweet Breeze, the more she has to admit that he’s not a monster.
Can Stacey and the Aloha Hideaway Inn survive strange summer weather, the arrival of the new resort, and the start of a special relationship?

This was the perfect escape for a stay-at-home-order. It transported me to the beaches of Hawaii. I loved Fisher and Stacey’s romance and really enjoyed the character development. I can’t wait to head back to the beach as I read the rest of the books in the series about Stacey’s friends in The Women’s Beach Club.
If you love sweet billionaire romance or sweet beach reads, you’ll love reading about Stacey and Fischer finding their Happily Ever After!
Ah. A beachy billionaire romance. Just what I needed. A fun new setting and a whole group of new characters to fall in love with.
Such a fun story. Stacey and Fisher’s heartwarming drama in the perfect Hawaiian setting. Definitely recommend this sweet and clean read.
Loved It
What a great beginning to this series. Stacey owns and runs her own B&B in Hawaii but a new fancy hotel open up next door. She has not been lucky in love. Fischer owns the hotel but loves to go undercover in different departments to see if everything is good. They meet by accident. Will it work.
I love Hawaii, so great locale. Sweet story. Rushed ending
For the most part I enjoyed the story. The flow and character development worked and I was engaged in the story from beginning to the end. I never felt like the story dragged or got boring.
Fisher is dreamy. The perfect guy who has it all – looks, money, and personality. Stacey on the other hand, seems like a loose cannon. She is always overreacting and then apologizing.
The ending seems a bit difficult to believe, but maybe it could happen. Also, I’d have liked an epilogue to wrap up the final loose ends. But, maybe one of the next books in the series will include Fisher and Stacey as extra characters and we’ll get to see what happens next.
Romance – PG – kissing and discussion of sex.
Language – PG / clean
My rating – 4 stars
This story is so cute written and you automatically fall in love with the characters.
I could really imagine to stay in this B&B 🙂
The interactions between Stacey and Fisher are entertaining and I really loved the whole story.
A wonderful story! A light sweet read.
Each book in the series ends before you are ready for it to end. I am always waiting for the next one.
Story about two people who have been hurt by previous partners who they believed they were in love with. So it’s hard to trust anyone with your heart. They both own businesses on the island one upscale and the other low key eventually they get past their barriers and find love
Great setting for a romance. Contrasts a B&B with a hi rise hotel.
Superb book! I couldn’t put down. Why can’t more men be that sweet.
Highly recommend
Light and enjoyable read.
Elana Johnson’s Aloha Hideaway Inn was an enjoyable read. A sweet, clean romance, the story is of two people who are not looking for a relationship but find themselves in one shortly after they meet. Stacey, owner of the Aloha Hideaway Inn, is staying at Fisher’s hotel, scoping out the competition. A chance encounter starts their journey. Stacey is the more reluctant of the two, but finds that Fisher is just what her lonely heart has been looking for.
I loved this book I am on number 2 of the set
This was a sweet read. I enjoyed the characters and I want to stay at the bed & Breakfast.
It’s chick lit. It’s fun.
A little too unrealistic emotion for me
A little unrealistic, but a definite easy going beach read with likable characters.
