I loved the originality of this book. I loved the small town Fools Gold and the how the town and it’s people are involved in the story. It was very realistic and that was a breath of fresh air! You feel like you know the characters and you really want to go to Fools Gold (at least I do) Nowadays when everyone is writing the same old same old I …
This is a typical Harlequin romance and something Lifetime would likely turn into a cheesy movie. It’s completely unoriginal and unimaginative.
The Hero is the typical wealthy, town golden boy who does the poor girl from the wrong side of the tracks dirty. He secretly dates her, takes her virginity, then denies he’s dating her to his friends …
I should have read more review before I read this.
The heroine gets thrown under the bus repeatedly by EVERYONE from the wimpy, whiny H, her own kid, her ungrateful niece, the H’s mother and the town…yes THE TOWN.
The H gets his kid and the hot mama that can help with the day to day rearing because being a dad is all too much to handle on his …
Almost Perfect is the second book in the Fool’s Gold series and I just loved getting to reenter this world. In this story it focuses on Liz and Ethan and I just loved getting to learn more about them. It was just so easy to get lost in this story and I just so much fun with them. I can’t wait to see what’s next for this series.
Okay here are my thought on this book down and dirty. I liked everything about this story but the hero Ethan. He was a stupid jerk, douchebag, and treated the woman he suppose to love who is also the mother of his child like crap. Not just in the beginning but til the very last page. So sorry I’m not sorry, but I don’t give a crap he says he …
Very fun easy read
This is part of an amazing series by an amazing author. Don’t miss it
I have enjoyed all the Fool’s Gold books. This is a wonderful town and it’s occupants. I always look forward to each new book.
I don’t ever miss a book by this author i will even read her older books love her series all of them
This was a fantastic book. I didn’t want it to end.
It began immediately to hold my attention span and never let me down.
Thankfully, it wasn’t filled with acts of sex. It had one short steamy part, but thankfully, that was it. It was based on what could easily have been real life situations. It was refreshing to not read all filth.
I love this Author and all of her books
As with most Susan Mallery books, there is good character development, the characters are likeable, and it ends happily.
I haven’t read a book by this author that I haven’t thoroughly enjoyed. She can’t write them fast enough for me.
Love this author. A favorite of mine
Great book with wonderful characters. The author makes you feel the emotions along with the characters.
