ALMOST JAMIE is book 1 of the Jet City Kilt series. One lonely doctor. One sexy guy in a kilt. No, not that Jamie…but almost.Fresh from London, Blair Edwards is Seattle’s newest cancer doctor. She’s been burned by love before, but that isn’t stopping her from looking for the kind of passion she sees in Jamie, the dashing Highland laird of a wildly popular TV series.Austin MacDougall is a charming … series.
Austin MacDougall is a charming cosplaying Seattle millionaire. After a little help from his matchmaker, he’s a reformed geek who looks hot in a kilt. So hot, in fact, that he’s often mistaken for the actor who plays Jamie. But that still hasn’t found him love.
A chance meeting at Jet City Comicon and a twist forces them to play lookalikes for TV’s most popular Scottish Highlander and his lady.
But playing lovers isn’t the same thing as being lovers. Right?
Don’t tell them that.

Overall I was disappointed that this is not a full book. It is only the beginning of the story. I liked it he book as far as it went. It was fun fan fiction. I will probably not spend 15 for the next 3 books to see how the story ends. If the other books go on sale later, or are packaged together, then maybe, because I am interested.
Must read next book to find d out what happens.
It was a fun short read. It leads into 3 other books which tell the whole story. I think all 4 books should have been 1 because they are each so short. If you can buy all 4 as a bundle, I think it’s well worth the read!
Good book that ended too soon.
Serious, meet fantasy! Loved this book that leads a woman into the hands of just who she needs!
I can’t wait to read the next in the series!
I really loved the characters.
What’s up with every book ending in the middle of the story so they can sell you the next installment? Wish there would be an indication before buying as to whether books are stand alone or require further purchases.
I would have happily given this book four stars. It was well written, no typos. However, it cut off abruptly, forcing you to purchase more books if you wanted to continue with the story. That would have made sense had it been particularly long, but it wasn’t and it stopped quite awkwardly. I was left disappointed and angry.
it makes me so mad when a story ends right in the middle…nope not going to do it
I really liked this book but i don’t like the fact that you have to buy another book or two to find out what happens. What ever happened to books that were complete! For this reason I would not recommend buying it.
I love this series and look forward to reading more about Austin and Blair
Did not like this book. Shallow relationships and not enough plot
It’s a fun fan fiction but it was too short. I know there are sequels but it felt like it could flesh out more of their relationship.
This book hooked me in for the series! I enjoyed the characters and wanted to follow them to their happy ever after conclusion.
Book was good, but I don’t like books that are not complete with one character. From the subsequent book list you have to read 4 books to complete one couple’s relationship.
This was a waste of my time. Not a stand alone book. Would not of even started it. It was a short story with no ending unless you buy next book.
Not more stars because it’s he first of an unexpected series. Interesting characters.
I liked the writing and the book, what I didn’t like is that I had to buy four books to get one complete romance. If I’d known what it would cost to read the entire story, I wouldn’t have started it.
Liked it.
