ALMOST JAMIE is book 1 of the Jet City Kilt series. One lonely doctor. One sexy guy in a kilt. No, not that Jamie…but almost.Fresh from London, Blair Edwards is Seattle’s newest cancer doctor. She’s been burned by love before, but that isn’t stopping her from looking for the kind of passion she sees in Jamie, the dashing Highland laird of a wildly popular TV series.Austin MacDougall is a charming … series.
Austin MacDougall is a charming cosplaying Seattle millionaire. After a little help from his matchmaker, he’s a reformed geek who looks hot in a kilt. So hot, in fact, that he’s often mistaken for the actor who plays Jamie. But that still hasn’t found him love.
A chance meeting at Jet City Comicon and a twist forces them to play lookalikes for TV’s most popular Scottish Highlander and his lady.
But playing lovers isn’t the same thing as being lovers. Right?
Don’t tell them that.

fun easy read.
Easy great read. I ended up reading all 4 books in the series in one day. Had to know what happened next in each book.
“jet City Kilt Series”-this should be enough to warn you off right there. Unless you’re Pinterest nuts for men in skirts-you might get a cheap momentary thrill out of it.
This book was a fun read.
I loved the premise of the story, and the characters, but only gave this a three because it finished about 1/3 of the way through. If I wanted the entire story (which I did), I needed to buy the next book. Really? Although the writing was good, it feels like I was duped. A dirty trick for sure. It would have been easier to rate higher if it was a short story, with an ending.
Liked the book and story. Things were just getting good when it abruptly ended. 4 more books in the series.
Outlander meets Sex in the City, but with nerds at a ComiCon. Fun read, especially since I’m an Outlander fan.
Cute story
Fun fast read! Great book for fans of Outlander!
Cute story but not a stand alone book, you’ll wand to purchase the previous and following books
I dislike book that don’t finish . This one left you hanging to buy the next volume. I would not have read it had I known.
Very disappointing! The story, which was mediocre, ends (or rather, drops without ending) suddenly, then you are encouraged to buy the next book to find out the ending. I will remember this author and avoid in the future.
Amusing. Entertained me more than I expected.
Great for Outlander fans. My only gripe is that you need to read all 4 books in the series to get the outcome.
There are 4 books in the series, this book lays the foundation, so you will have to read the rest to get the full story. If you like the show ‘Outlander’, this may mess up your head a bit(character crossover-ish), but still different and cute perspective.
I could not finish book . Dumb.
I like books that are self-contained. To cut a story off almost mid-thought is jarring.
But it was to short should have continued.
What fun
Just could not finish the book.
