I’m so fucking scared right now.No, not just scared—I’m terrified. And if you’re reading this, you should be, too.I fell through the Looking-Glass; I got back home. But get this: I didn’t come alone. Oh, and it doesn’t feel like home anymore.Unlike Alice in the original story, this is not my Wonderland. In the original story, the Walrus and the Carpenter didn’t follow Alice back.In that story, she … follow Alice back.
In that story, she didn’t bring her harem of lovers with her to meet Dad.
Mom, Dad, meet my nine boyfriends; one of them’s a faerie who foretells the future—is that what I’m supposed to say?
Back in Underland, things are even worse.
Betrayal, heartbreak, and death … that’s all that’s waiting for us in Castle Heart.
I’m “the Alice”, bringer of prophecy, and I’m starting to fall for all nine men in my life.
So, can I stop the chaos that’s rolling in on black wings?
If you’re reading this, can you help me, please?
Save the world, get the guys, and give me my happy ending.
ALLISON SHATTERS THE LOOKING-GLASS (Book 3 of 3 in the “Harem of Hearts” series) — is a full-length reverse harem/new adult/dark romance novel, a gritty retelling of “Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”. Don’t expect a children’s tale; these characters are nothing like their more innocent counterparts. This book contains: drugs, cursing, violence, sex … and love found in the darkest shadows.
THIS IS A COMPLETED SERIES

Who knew that a reverse harem story with 9 men would really grab my heart? I loved this story so much. I really fell in love with all of the guys and Allison and her family. I loved seeing her growing as a person and learning to be true to herself. I was so attached to these characters and had a hard time letting them go. I’m not so patiently waiting on the potential follow-up series that C.M. Stunich mentioned in her note at the end of this book!
This book was amazing! I didn’t ever want this series to end so to my surprise there is another book coming with Kings of Underland! I’m so stoked for the next book. I loved Allison and her nine guys! Red, Raiden, and March and Dee, hell all of them are my favorite. This series is so worth your time. I would totally love to see this made into a movie. Yeah I’m a little obsessed. I’ve always been a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland and I’ve devoured so many retelling but C.M. Stunichs hands down is the best. Buy these books they make a excellent edition to any RH collection. I’m already looking forward to re-reading the series. Thank you C.M. it really is a phenomenal read!
Enjoyable and entertaining series
This was a very enjoyable and entertaining read I absolutely fell in love with all of 9 mens of Underland. So sad that the series is over. Overall I enjoy this funny, smutty, and action filled book I can’t wait to read the continuation of Alice and her guys in the future.
Though Roadie is still my favorite book by CM Stunich, this one is a very close second. Action, adventure, 9 big…men, family drama, and romance. And I enjoyed the nods to the other books, that made me giggle every time I saw one.
Couldn’t have asked for a more perfect ending to Alison’s story. And the added bit about a potential spin off series? Sold! I love these characters. There’s sparks, and steam. As well as plenty of action and love.
DNF at 60%
I can’t do it anymore. What was a good series is no longer. This book ruined the series for me.
The problems I had with this book. Fair warning: Rant ahead!
Number 1 the cussing is still bad. It makes Allison sound immature.
Number 2 the author is a bit insulting and stereotypical towards the male population. She says
“What is it with straight dudes and plaid flannel pajamas? I swear, they all own a pair. ”
That right there makes your character sound ignorant. My fiance is straight. Doesn’t own one fucking pair of plaid flannel pajamas. How can I be so sure? Five years together, four of those living with one another, and doing his laundry. Hell he doesn’t even own a plaid shirt.
Now I’m not going to say what I really want to say because everyone is entitled to their own opinion but this shit pisses me off so bad. Like I said it sounds ignorant. Something like saying all gay dudes parade around in drag farting out rainbows. See how ignorant that sounds. Enough with stereotyping people.
Number 3 The political views that are thrown in. Heavy left leaning propaganda. (Look I don’t give a rats ass who you voted for, but leave your political shit out of my fantasy books)
Anyway not getting into that, number 4 Allison went from learning to be a badass to being whiny. Authors stop doing this. Stop making a strong character turn into a whiny little girl. Allison took several steps back. She was bratty and selfish. Totally insufferable.
Number 5 Allison is wit washy. She keeps going back and forth with her feelings. I was hoping by the third book she would have all of that check and she wouldn’t be all “I hate him”, “I’m never sleeping with him”, and then be kissing or having sex with the guy she was just saying that about.
Number 6 Allison throughout the series keeps reminding us of her age and her teenage hormones. We get it by now.
Number 7 The author made Allison condescending.
As you can see what is wrong with the book. Allison and how the author portrayed her. I thought I could finish this but I couldn’t. If the author would have put political issues aside and focused on building the relationship with Allison and her men than the whiny brat we got I more than likely would have loved the book.
Sweet baby monkeys that was absolutely phenomenal! Such a great end to Allison’s story at least for now I hope. Gosh I’m gonna need more of her journey with her husbands. Yes I definitely do! So well written, the whole series has so much detail, the characters have so much depth and emotions are all over the story and all the action and adventure and drama oh and can’t forget the steam factor! This series retelling of Alice is so creative and entertaining it is definitely on my reread list and will be for the foreseeable future. I am thoroughly impressed with the entire series. I mean there are a lot of Alice in Wonderland retellings are sometimes starting to get repetitive but not this one. This one has new twists and new action and adventure and the RH twist. Fabulous just fantastic and I will definitely be reading them over and over again, and hopefully CM will continue the journey of Allison and her harem in the future ( Kings of Underland) I know I would read them over and over again too.
Holy hearts. This book is a rollercoaster, and it doesn’t stop. I’ve been riding it since the very beginning, and I haven’t regretted it once. I love these characters. Their diversity, their flaws, their journeys are what make them. Allison is a product of what’s happened to her. She could have wilted, but she just gets stronger and stronger and grows into the storyline. And the guys. I get it’s reverse harem and #whychoose, but I don’t think I could pick a favourite if I wanted to. They all suit some side to her, and give her something she needs, whether that’s nurturing or fun or an angry outlet. The story itself is so action packed, and when I say it doesn’t stop, I mean, it picks right up from Book 2 from the beginning and doesn’t end. I couldn’t put it down. I lost sleep over this book, because I had to finish it. It was a brilliant ending to what has become a fantastic and phenomenal series.
This series did not disappoint! I loved every minute of it!
I can’t believe it finally reached the end, but I am glad to know there might be more in the future.
I loved how Allison and her men worked their way up to caring for each other. It took time and a lot of effort, but they made it! I do wish the Red would have showed a tad bit more emotion, but guess that’s a king for you. The ending was pretty great. It ended at a very good place.
This book, as well as the whole series, is worth reading for sure! I know I will be keeping this series in my library for a very long time.
