I finally watched the Allegiant movie this weekend. For me, this series devolved with each book. The third book was my least favorite by a long shot; I might not have finished it had I not been on a three-flight voyage to Peru at the time with no WiFi to purchase something else. But I LOVED the ending.

This is sadly the conclusion to the amazing series by Veronica Roth. Although it is very well written and one of the best books, beware that the ending is surprising and very sad. If I were you, just read the first two books! I cried so much after finishished Alligent.
I may have mixed up the order of my review.
However, this book was definitely worth reading.
Provided closure on the previous book(s).
You have to read this!
Surprises at every turn!
Absolutely my favorite of the 3 novels. Well written it ties up the trilogy nicely. I thought the characters both good and bad guys were well defined. They all had strong personalities which made them all the more believable.
I think this was the best dystopian trilogy I have read so far.
I’d give it 3.5 stars. Setting aside my hate for the main character in quite a few moments in this book, it was a nice journey, and I’m satisfied with the way things were wrapped up in the end.
SPOILER WARNING!!
SPOILER:
Big spoiler below, PLEASE don’t read if you haven’t finished Allegiant!

This is just my opinion, so if you don’t agree with me that is fine, of course.
I understand what people say about the ending and I understand that they don’t like it. I don’t like it either, but it is a part of who Tris is as a person, and …
Must read
I recommend the whole series

Oh I liked this book SO MUCH MORE than the first two. It’s like those were practice books and this one is where she really found her voice and the story took off. Glad I stuck with it! This book ended like it should have [sometimes the hero has to make the hard choices and that is what Tris did here and that should be celebrated not …
NO TEARS LEFT TO CRY………AWESOME AMD AMAZING, VERONICA, YOU HAVE DONE A FAB(I MEAN FAAAAAAB) JOB WRITING THIS BOOK, I AM CRYING WHILE WRITING THIS, I LOVED IT SOOOOOOOOO MUCH (I MEAN I LOOOOOVVVVEDDDD IT
I enjoyed this series very much.
Tris, Tobias and a few others leave the city – they need to know what is outside. They learn that nothing is as they were taught, but they also learn how broken the world outside is as well.
What I didn’t like about the book is that we switch between the point of view of Tobias and Tris without Tobias having a distinct voice: despite his name …
After the message from outside the wall Tris, Four, Christina, and a few others escape the Factionless to see who or what is out there. They find out that the history they have been told there whole lives is nothing close to the truth.
Not as good as the first two books. I found it a bit tedious to read. Glad I finished the series, but it felt a …
i loved the book but the movie was rubbish
Allegiant… Jun 13, 2019 – Jun 23, 2019
I don’t care for the change in the narrative. In the first two books we heard the story from Tris’ perspective, now suddenly we’re getting the shift between Tris and Tobias. It’s obvious why this was done, and normally I don’t have an issue with this style. It’s nice to have more than one voice telling a …
It was good, the end was sad though
This book got some tears out of me!
I love this series. It is a great read.
