I absolutely loved All Your Loving; it is an incredible enemy to lovers love story. It is the third book in the Bachelors and Bridesmaids series. Each book in the series keeps getting better and better, but I think that All Your Loving is my favorite story in the series so far. I love that they series is based on the lives of eight women who met in their college freshman dorm, became best friends, and promised to be bridesmaids in one another’s weddings. Barbara Freethy has once again shown that she is an amazing storyteller. All Your Loving did not disappoint, I could not put it down and I loved every page. I really enjoy how the book is told from the perspective of the main characters. I love getting the insight and feelings from the different characters. All Your Loving is a second chance at first love story and is filled with heartbreaking and heartwarming moments. I love the lighter moments where I find myself smiling and laughing out loud and the bittersweet moments that cause me to sigh, say aww to myself with tears filling my eyes. All Your Loving is filled with such moments, and with so much emotion. It is filled with all those things that we have come to love and expect in a love story, especially the poignant and bittersweet moments that filled this page turner. All Your Loving is the story of Matt Kingsley, superstar shortstop for the San Francisco baseball team and Julie Michaels, who works California Children’s Foundation, a non-profit supporting afterschool programs for underprivileged children, children with food insecurities, and homelessness. Julie needs to find a replacement for their celebrity chef fundraiser. Matt Kingsley was suggested, Julie called the appropriate contacts and no one has responded. She takes matters into her own hands and heads to the ball park. While waiting at the players exit, she sees Matt getting into his car. Matt thinks Julie is a groupie, and kisses her, but does not agree to be in the celebrity cook off. Matt changes his mind and heads to the foundation offices in search of Julie. Julie is not a fan of baseball players, since her father Jack played for the same team that Matt, but was not a perfect husband or father. As they spend time together getting Matt ready for the cook off, things change between them. Julie lets her walls crumble and allows herself to fall for Matt, a baseball player. I love that they were both so vulnerable and that Julie changed because of Matt’s love. I loved that All Your Loving is a more than just a romance, there are dilemmas that both Julie and Matt are facing that need to be resolved. I love that there were multiple storylines: Julie’s relationship with her father, Julie’s dealing with Matt’s career, but most importantly Julie and Matt’s story. I love Julie’s heart to heart conversation with her father regarding that was made possible by her mother revealing truths about what happened in the past. I love how Matt tells Julie that he is not her father, and that she shouldn’t judge him because of her father’s sins. I love how all the storylines get so beautifully resolved. I love all the descriptions of the California area setting that Barbara Freethy detailed. All Your Loving is filled with the poignant and bittersweet moments in the story as well as the plot twists, that I have come to love and expect in Barbara Freethy’s stories. I love the cast of characters in All Your Loving and I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series. Who doesn’t love family and friends that always have each other’s backs? Reading All Your Loving felt like a family reunion, because the reader was able to catch up with the other characters in the series. I thoroughly enjoyed All Your Loving, who doesn’t love a enemies to lovers love story. Highly recommend this wonderfully written story.
