She needs to wed… And he’s going to find her a husband.
When Margaret Carberry’s mother drags her upstairs at a ball, Margaret does not expect her mother to tie her to the bed and lock the door. Unfortunately, Margaret’s mother has taken it upon herself to declare Margaret compromised—whether or not Margaret wants to resort to such tactics to snare a husband.
Jasper Tierney, the Duke of … tactics to snare a husband.
Jasper Tierney, the Duke of Jevington, is surprised to encounter a half-clothed woman sprawled upon his bed. He is even more shocked to discover her identity. Margaret Carberry is renowned as an incorrigible wallflower, not a seductress, no matter how appealing her bare flesh is against his bedding. When Margaret declares she won’t go along with her mother’s scheme and will find a husband on her own, Jasper vows to assist her, lest Margaret’s mother concoct another method to arrange a compromising situation. Jasper is certain of one thing: he has no desire to marry.
As Jasper works to match Margaret to a fellow duke, the prospect of a forced marriage with her lacks its earlier loathsomeness. Perhaps he missed his chance for true bliss.

Margaret Carberry is a shy, quiet, incorrigible wallflower. Her father is wealthy, but alas his wealth was made in trade. Her mother has high hopes for Margaret, that she will marry, maybe even a duke. Since Margaret won’t help herself, Mrs. Cranberry has arranged for her to be found in a compromising position in the bed of the Duke of Jevington.. However, Margaret and Jasper upset those plans when she escapes her mother’s setup. Why does Jasper want to help her find a his among one of his friends? Even though he does not want to be serious about anything, why is she in his thoughts constantly? I am a big fan of Bianca Blythe’s books. She certainly knows how to tell a take with a touch of humor. Such enjoyable reading! Her heroine ‘s are a bit irregular, but very likeable. I do hope Ms. Blythe plans on writing a story for Margaret’s friend, Daisy. I received this eBook from NetGalley for an honest review.
This is the first book I’ve read by Bianca Blythe and I must say I found it thoroughly entertaining!
When Margaret Carnerry’s mother ties her to the Duke of Jevington’s bed in a scheming attempt to get her daughter compromised and married, Margaret enlists the duke’s help and manages to flee through a window right before a crowd of people, including a vicar, pile into the room.
Grateful for Bianca’s consideration toward him and his intention to remain unmarried, Jevington offers to return the favor by helping her find the husband she needs so her mother will stop pestering her. He decides to organize a house party where his friends (all dukes) will be able to get to know Bianca and fall madly in love with her. It’s a foolproof plan. After all, Jevington has arranged it so it’s bound to work. What could possibly go wrong?
Well for one thing, Jevington might about to discover that he wants Bianca for himself. The only question is whether or not he’ll figure that out before another man claims her.
This is a Regency romp that had me laughing out loud throughout. Highly recommended for a light and fun read.
What a delightful book. I was captivated from the opening scene and did not want to put the book down until I read the last page. I adored Margaret and hoped that she would find forever happiness. Jasper, while he did not think he was marriage material, proved to be a good man.
This is a wonderful start to what promises to be an interesting series. I look forward to the next book and hope it is as good as this one.
A story that you will love…
A young woman, a walflower… her mother… and a duke…
He will help her to find a husband… a friend or him?
Fun moments and plot…
If you like Regency and surprises, this book is for you..
All You Need Is A Duke is book one in The Duke Hunters Club by Bianca Blythe. I enjoyed it. There are so many hilariously funny moments. The heroine Margaret Carberry is not the typical Regency debutante. She is a shy, quiet and easily overlooked wallflower. I like how Margaret’s character develops and grows throughout the book. The hero Jasper Tierney, The Duke of Jevington is a delight. His affable personality hides a depth that Margaret helps uncover. There are several twists and turns in this story that I didn’t expect. A great book. I was given a copy of this book.
He saw something special in an ignored wallflower
It’s refreshing when the heroine is not gorgeous with a to-die-for figure. I suppose that’s just one of the reasons why I enjoyed All You Need is a Duke by Bianca Blythe. In fact, even the hero, though handsome, was a bit eccentric to the point of being odd. Their short journey into romantic waters has the help of an overbearing mother and a few good friends. Thankfully, their quirky romance has a happy ending, with some LOL moments along the way.
Content 411: 4 mild swear words, some passionate kisses, 1 quick-peek bedroom scene
Disclosure: I received an ARC of this book from the author. I am voluntarily submitting my honest review.

The first book in a new series & I found it to be a fun read, which I read in two sittings. I liked both Jasper & Margaret who whilst attracted to each other bumbled their way through the house party whilst all the time falling in love. Margaret’s mother was awful & so intent on finding a good match for her daughter but I did find some of her antics hilarious. The story flowed well & I look forward to the rest of the series
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read
A light-hearted Regency romance with both laugh out loud and cringe-worthy moments as Margaret Carberry traverses through the disasters set in motion by her over ambitious mother. Having been on the receiving end of Mrs Carberry’s manipulations, Jasper, Duke of Jevington, takes precautions to avoid any further attempts by the determined woman. However, because he is a kind-hearted gentleman, his heart goes out to Margaret and he determines to help her find a husband to quieten her mother’s demands. The story is amusing and romantic, is a standalone and comes to a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.
This is the first book in a new series by Bianca Blythe and after reading this book I can not wait for the next books to come out. This book is about Jasper, a Duke who meets Margaret when her mother puts Margaret in a possible comprising situation. I remember reading about Jasper in a previous book And I could not wait to read his story and I was not disappointed. It is a nice sweet clean romance written by a wonderful author who I have enjoyed every book by her which I have read.
Hopefully not all Dukes are as slowtopped as this one. Love and confusion reign in this book all about Dukes. A good read and other stories to follow about the other Dukes in this story.
It’s been a while since I read it, but I remember enjoying it very much!
Loved the plot and characters – could not put it down!
An amazing first book in series
This is an amazing first book in a series that shows great promise. The plot is full of twists and turns, and the characters are crafted wonderfully. This book will suit all those that love historical romances that have a steamy end
This book was not for me. With all the squeaking, leg shifting and preponderance of words, I had a difficult time wading through this story. I gave up about the half way mark.
I received a free copy from Netgalley. This is my unbiased review.
Jasper Tierney, the Duke of Jevington, was nearly trapped into marriage when Mrs. Carberry tied her daughter to his bed. Luckily for him, he found her in time and Margaret slipped out the balcony door to save the duke from having to marry her. To show his gratitude, Jasper hosts a country house party to find Margaret a husband. Margaret never fit in especially with her Scottish accent and science interests and although she’s appreciative of Jasper’s help, she’s not sure she’ll ever find a husband who will accept her as she is.
I loved Margaret. She was so sweet and kind and never said a bad word against anyone. The problem is the more time she spent with Jasper, the more she fell in love with him. That would never do. A duke would never fall for her. I liked how Ms. Blythe’s teased out how Jasper’s feelings grew for Margaret. It was enjoyable to see there was no “insta-love” here, but feelings progressed slowly. I did mark 1 star off for inconsistencies in the time line at Gretna Green though. Also, Margaret’s friend, Miss Juliet, was not necessary to the story as she barely made an appearance in the book. I will definitely check out more books by Ms. Blythe.
Margaret Carberry’s mama is determined that her daughter marry and the man she’s set her eyes on is the Duke of Jervington. When Margaret escapes her mama’s attempt at compromising the Duke, he decides the help her find a Duke among his friends. Only Jasper can’t stop thinking about Margaret and don’t forget that kiss. Funny and touching, a very entertaining romp.
It amazes me on how family would scheme to make sure you married well, well according to them. So here we meet Margaret Carberry a wallflower whose interest are definitely different than her momma, so her crazy momma ties her to the bed, yeah you read correctly, luckily for Margaret she is saved from this spectacle from a well meaning Duke. And this part I found funny. The story starts from there. The craziness begins..Enjoy! A little slow for me.
rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions.
I voluntary reviewed this ARC after receiving a free copy. I so loved this book. It was funny. The characters were very witty and very dramatic in their own way. Margaret’s mother was over the top with drama, but I loved it.
Frankly if I had a mother like that, I would have committed her to some insane asylum. Boy how did her husband put up with her?! The writing had fluid to it. Some areas may have slowed for me, but once the humor picked I continued reading. The romance between Margaret and Jarves slowly evolved in the book, but I much rather prefer that it started in the beginning with a strong desire from one another in the beginning of the book.
Then continue on a steamy passionate ride through the book. For example stolen kisses here or there. Maybe, a passionate love making in Jarves’s room. Towards the end the story had to much details that was not related to the issue at at hand. Then for the last page, the coming together of the couple was one line.
? Anyway, the book was good, but give it more steamy, hot passion, with an abundance of bed four play.
This is the first book I’ve read by Bianca Blythe and I have to say, what a charming and delightful read! This is a beautiful story about two people who don’t think much of themselves, but together they come to realize their own self worth and overcome their insecurities. Margaret and Jasper are wonderful together. They don’t expect much and take each other at face value and appreciate one another for who they truly are. It was charming to see them get closer and their relationship grow.
This is a truly entertaining story that’s full of humor and sweet moments. Great start to a new series! I am looking forward to the next book!
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review
This highly amusing, romantic and fun. When Margaret’s mother tries to force a marriage between her and the Duke of Jevington, which Margaret escaped from, her friend Daisy tells her that the only way she can avoid another trap is to marry someone quickly. Daisy tells her to ask the Duke to dance with her, therefore generating interest. But, even though he is very grateful to her for her refusal to be a party to a forced marriage, he tells her no. Instead, he’s going to have a house party, invite all his Duke friends and get her a husband. Jasper is very kind and charming, but he’s also a bit scatter brained and impulsive, which is very amusing. Margaret is insecure and vulnerable, yet determined to not force him into marrying her. This is a truly entertaining series.
