Bear McKinley’s past refuses to let go. Ten years ago, Bear gave up everything—his freedom and his reputation—for his mess of a family. But after years of distance and too many attempts at starting over, he finally has a new life doing noble work in Brazil . . . until his past catches up to him once again. Suddenly he finds himself back in Maple Valley, charged with the care of his missing … charged with the care of his missing brother’s children, convinced he’s out of second chances to make his life count. And yet, with every day that passes, these kids, this quirky town and the woman he never stopped missing help patch the holes in his heart. Maybe this is the fresh start he’s been longing for all along. But as his newfound hope grows, so does the mystery surrounding his brother’s activities—and when the threat reaches into the lives of those he loves, it’s clear he can’t run away this time.
Fear holds Raegan’s future captive.
Raegan Walker is fine. She’s happy working a slew of part-time jobs, still living in her childhood bedroom and rarely venturing from her hometown. At least, that’s what she tells everyone . . . and herself. But she can’t help wondering what might’ve happened if she hadn’t abandoned her art so many years ago—and if Bear McKinley had never left. When Bear returns and she’s commissioned for a painting that just might revive her artistic ambition all in one week, it’s time to finally reach for more than fine. But doing so means facing the fears that have held her back all this time, including admitting the secret she’s kept from Bear and her family. With her dream and her heart on the line, how much will Raegan have to risk to finally chase her happy ending?

My favourite of Melissa’s books! Bear is an amazing uncle and character, and this novel is so sweet and leaves you grinning!
I’ve really, really enjoyed this series. If this town wasn’t fictional I’d totally vacation there. Melissa Tagg does great in bringing the story and people to life. I’ve been listening to these in audio form and the narrartor does well. I’ve had to stop audiobooks before because the voice grated on me and would be so bummed. I enjoyed getting below the surface of these two characters. I felt they matured and learned some important lessons. There are no one dimensional characters or cliche story lines. I loved their developing romance as it was written. So glad the story is kept clean. There was someone from the dad’s past that resurfaced. This added a nice interesting layer to the h’s story. Though I’m not so sure I like what the author did with that at the end of the book in regards to the dad & that character. I think that’s my only caveat. I was hooked from beginning to end.
“All This Time” ends Melissa Tagg’s Walker Family Series on a high note! I was particularly moved by Raegan’s story. The portrayal of her secret struggle with fear was beautifully honest.
As always, Tagg’s charming writing style was a pleasure to read. I hate to see this series end! But most of all, I hate the thought of leaving Maple Valley forever! I adore Maple Valley like a quirky secondary character, and I hope (please, please!) that we get to visit the small town again in future books. Cause I really need a scone from Coffee Coffee.
Awww! I love Melissa Tagg’s books! She has such relatable, beautifully flawed characters that I just want to be best friends with. Maple Valley is such a welcoming town and it’s so sweet catching up with the Walker family in each new book in the series and being challenged right alongside them about love, faith and what it means to trust. Bear and Reagan both have so much to work through, despite seeming to have everything together on the outside. Beautiful, hilarious, heart-wrenching story and one I couldn’t more highly recommend.
I think this is the best of the series. For one, the anticipation of the relationship between Bear and Reagan has been built up through the whole series. And two, they’re just so sweet together! Bear with his niece and nephew made some of the sweetest scenes. And I really liked the ending. I thought it was a great way to conclude Reagan and Bear’s story, as well as the stories of all the Walker siblings.
This book was SO bittersweet to read. I’ve been dying for Bear & Reagan’s story for so long, but to see the Walker Family series end, pulls at my heart strings. Melissa Tagg brilliantly transported me again to the charming & quirky town of Maple Valley. Romance, faith, laughter, tears, and some suspense, this book had it all. Can’t wait to see what else Melissa Tagg writes and where she’ll take her readers next.
