All They Ever Wanted ~ Second chances bk2 by Tracy Solheim.
I totally loved this book it is very well written with a full-on plot with wonderful characters that bring the story to life.
This follows on from Back to Before and is mainly Miles and Lori’s story, Lori is hiding a very large secret, will MIles find out? will Lori confide in him? or will it be too late and someone else tells her story?
This book had me hooked from the very beginning until I reached the end. All They Ever Wanted is too good for spoilers, please purchase the book you will not be disappointed.
I highly recommend and hope to read the next.
5***** if only I could give more.
Thank you, Tracy, for this wonderful book.
Another pleasant visit to Chances Inlet
Let me start by saying that I usually stay away from story lines that have anything to do with politics HOWEVER in this case I enjoyed reading the first book in this series and I like this author so I gave it a go. The story moved a little slow for me at first but eventually I got sucked in and kept turning pages because I needed to know what Lori was hiding and I didn’t mind the politics as much as I thought I would. Miles McAlister actually ended up being a politician I could mostly like. So, if you’re looking for a little intrigue, a manageable amount of politics, stolen kisses, and an array of characters in a small community setting then this is your book. I can’t wait for book three this fall.
I laughed. I cried. I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know Lori, Miles aka Dudley Do Right, family and friends. The sibling interaction was quite realistic and entertaining. We may get older but sibling rivalry continues. A copy was provided by NetGalley in exchange for my honest review. It was difficult for me to put the book down and do necessary chores.
Great characters and a thoroughly enjoyable tale. Politics, scandal, family and love made up this tale of intrigue.
Miles is running for congress and Lori works at his mother’s B & B. She has a major secret that could ruin his career before it starts. She loves him but he vows he’s loved and lost and will never love again. It would seem to you have to lose to actually miss what’s right there in front of you.
I really enjoyed this town, it’s second chances, the wonderful people and it’s dramas.
Lori’s secret is the biggest drama of all and when exposed under difficult circumstances you may be holding your breath and reading faster.
Great story, I loved it.
I fell in love with Ginger and Gavin immediately. Gavin returns home to Chances Inlet, to help his family financially. Ginger comes to Chances Inlet for a job, that she really does not want, to be a make up artist. There is an immediate chemistry between these two, I so love it. The only problem Ginger does not fit in with this small town and Gavin is here only temporarily.
I so enjoyed the small town coastal atmosphere. Love how everyone knows everyone business. The characters of Gavin and Ginger are so perfect for each other, loved tier sexual hotness.
This book should be on everyone’s must read books of 2021 A great start to a new series. I received this book form the author for an honest review.
