I was super excited to find out about Kristen Proby’s new Romancing Manhattan series; she’s one of my automatic, go-to, drop everything and read her new release authors. And let me tell you, she does not disappoint!
I fell so hard for Finn; he might have come off a bit strong at first, but oh, my gawd his dominance was über hot when it came to the sexy times. But that wasn’t what made me fall for him; his attentiveness, thoughtfulness and the faith he had in London melted my heart and made me weak in the knees for Proby’s new leading man. And London was a fantastic leading lady; strong, independent and determined. Her resiliency was amazing and the growth that both she and Finn went through were just beautiful. Although, I wanted so much more I was absolutely giddy with the ending and can’t wait to read the next two books in the series.
This is a brand new series, set in Manhattan! An all new family to fall in love with. I love this cover so much!
Don’t miss this sexy romance from the amazing Kristen Proby! All the Way kicks off an all-new series set in Manhattan, and I can’t wait for more in this family saga!
A great start to a brand new series!
All the Way is a book I wanted to start as soon as I could. I loved Kristen Proby’s Fusion series and was excited when I saw this is book one for her new upcoming Romancing Manhattan series. You get the emotions of torment, love, scared, and renewal with this book. I felt that these characters were made for each other and literally each others half.
You definitely get some hot romance, and you will get some drama. A perfect combination to get this story started right!
All the Way is a wonderful start to the new series Romancing Manhattan. You have two stubborn souls when it comes to London and Finn. London is trying to heal after a nearly career ending accident and the death of her parents. Finn is an estate lawyer who will steal your heart just a little when it comes to how he is with his niece. There are a few up and downs between Finn and London but the chemistry is red hot from the very beginning. London is incredibly strong when it comes to everything she deals with throughout this one. There is a wonderful romance mixed with a little suspense that will draw you in. I cannot wait to see where the Romancing Manhattan series goes next as we get to know Finn’s brothers more. I loved every moment of this one.
What a great start to this new series by Kristen Proby. I love Finn and London’s characters so much and really enjoyed their journey to love and happily ever after. For two career people totally set in their own ways, they find a way to compromise because what they have is so worth it. The narration was fantastic! Both Joe and Abby really brought Finn and London to life in the best way!
Love story with a bit of a mystery regarding the heroines family, gotta say I didn’t see the twist coming. Finn is sexy but a bit too presumptuous. London is strong but a bit too independent, both traits in the h and H made them hard to love. I liked them but couldn’t see myself being friends with them. The conversations between London and her brother hit a little too close to home. The author clearly has done her research on life with an addict. Quick read that I started on a Saturday in the pool and finished on Sunday in the same spot.
So I won an advanced copy of this one because the second I saw Broadway singer, I said I need it! So I’m glad I won it because I have a new author to love! London is a Broadway leading lady who seriously injures her leg jumping out of a window escaping the house fire that kills her parents. And if that wasn’t enough drama, her brother the addict hates her for inheriting the bulk of the estate because he can’t get his life together and the lawyer handling her parents affairs asks her on a date at the reading of the will. Lucky for her, she has a Martha’s Vineyard beach house and an amazing best friend. Though it turns out the lawyer with the crappy timing is her adorable neighbor, and he redeems his lousy timing later on! There is quite a bit of language in here to go with the steam. But if you like a little suspense and an older, wiser leading man, this is delightful, delicious, and delovely!
I always love Kristen’s work.
Tragedy can strike without any warning. For London – everything that she knew in her life was turned upside down in one moment. Trying to cope with the loss of her parents is compounded when London has to devote her own energy to recovering from that fateful night. Determined to pick up the pieces and find her way back to Broadway, London finds herself taking up residence in the one place that makes her feel the closest to the past.
Life at Martha’s Vineyard was nothing short of remarkable for London as a child. With the beach as a backdrop, London finds that the next door neighbor may make this trip of healing a whole lot better. As the lawyer that handled London’s parents will, Finn is known for his relentless pursuit of justice in the courtroom. Now – the handsome attorney can’t help but find his neighbor attractive.
Recovery for London seemed to move at a snail’s pace. During that recuperation stage, Finn provided London with a glimpse into life with an open heart. As London finds her life finally heading back to the spotlight, she finds that Finn is more important to her life than she originally thought.
All The Way is the first book in a new series by Kristen Proby. As with all Proby romances, there is an underlying sweetness to this story that longs to be uncovered. London has all of the strength that one would expect when thinking of a companion for Finn. The two take their time discovering what it means to love deeply and with conviction.
Now – while I did find the story littered with twinges of romance, I also found the plot extremely predictable. There is a little bit of a mystery that unfolds within this novel. Based on the overall plot, I am assuming that this secret was supposed to be a surprise. However – for me personally, the secret really was a mute point. To me there were too many elements shared in the very first chapter that led you to the correct conclusion. All in all – this novel was definitely the typical HEA that you would find in a standard romance on the market today!
Great love story between two unlikely people. Fate steps in and weaves a union that involves the assistance of other family members in making it happen. An easy, sweet read!
A Kristen Proby book, a comfortable chair and a glass of wine and you can’t go wrong. From the With Me Series to The Boudreaux Series and now the Romancing Manhattan series, you get drawn into the characters, the families and their stories and you can stop reading until you have read every single book.
I’ve been in a one-sided love affair with this author since I discovered her and read Loving Cara. Throughout that series (Love Under the Big Sky) I had a hard time putting those stories down once I picked them up. It was only a matter of time before I came across a story of hers that would fall flat for me. It’s inevitable, no matter how much I love an author, that some of their stories won’t speak to me the same way their other stories do. That’s not to say this isn’t a good book. It is actually a great story, but when I hold it up to those other stories it pales.
While I found Finn to be a strong male lead and very swoon worthy, I didn’t feel we were given enough of his back story…what makes the man tick. In fact, I felt I knew more about his brother and brother-in-law than I knew about Finn by the end of this story. This didn’t stop me from loving him, but it did stop me from fully connecting with him.
There’s a lot more history on London, but not any sort of deep dive that goes beyond the few months before the story starts. So again, I didn’t feel the connection with London that I would have liked. Which also made me not as forgiving when she’d get upset with Finn. I ended up understanding her reasons for the times she got frustrated with him, but the first time it really happened I thought she was being a bit of a diva since I didn’t understand her enough.
There was great chemistry with Finn’s niece Gabby and London, but they didn’t get near enough time together for my taste. I’m hoping they’ll have more scenes with each other when Gabby’s dad gets his story told.
There are a few big scenes that end up, in the long run, being more anticlimactic than the big adrenaline rush they seem at first. Some things wrapped up too quickly, others dragged on too long. I guess what I’m saying is the flow seemed off.
Again, hard to explain, but this is still a good book. I still wanted to keep going back to it throughout the day and looked forward to the times I was able to sit and read. It just wasn’t up to the standards I set in my mind when it comes to this author. I hope it was just a fluke because I plan to continue reading this author and I’m looking forward to Quinn’s story.

I enjoyed reading the book even though at times I didn’t care for London. I usually want a strong, independent woman as the main character but at times London comes across as being too independent. She kept making a point that she can afford to buy her own things so if someone tried to buy her something as a gift, she made such a big deal about it. The book started off interestingly. London and her brother are at the lawyer’s office for the reading of their parents’ will. Finn is the lawyer who drew up the final will. Her parents were killed in a house fire and she barely escaped but ended up ending her Broadway career. London is left almost everything that belonged to her brothers. Her brother will receive his inheritance but there are conditions in place before that can happen. While leaving Finn’s office, he asks her out on a date. I have to agree with London, that was just in poor taste. London goes to stay at her parent’s house on Martha’s Vineyard. While trying to decide what to do with her parent’s things, she runs into Finn. She finds out that he owns the house next to her. The more she is around him, the more she becomes interested in him. They start a relationship but whenever he tries to buy her something, she throws a fit. They start growing closer but when Finn tries to do something nice and helpful for London, she throws a major fit and takes off. Finn finds her and manages to bring her back home. While at a party, she runs into her brother and horrible truths come out. London and Finn fight again and then make up and then the book ends. I did not like the way the book ended. The book just ends and just leaves the reader hanging. This is the first book by this author that I did not care for.
London Watson’s life and career were in the theater, but she broke both her legs when she jumped from a burning building and now it seems her theater career is pretty much over. Her parents were killed in that same fire and her only other family, her brother, has pretty much been a drug addict all of his adult life.
As London is recuperating at her childhood home on Martha’s Vineyard, she gets to know her neighbor, Finn Cavanaugh, who was her parents’ estate attorney. Their relationship blossoms and they continue seeing each other once each of them returns to Manhattan. Finn’s family accepts London with open arms and she appreciates that, since she essentially has no family of her own.
The story line takes several twists and turns, making it that much more interesting; and finally, London and Finn find their happy every after. I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the next one in the series. I listened to the Audible version of this book and the narration by Abby Craden and Joe Arden was spot on!
Just wondering if we learn more about the other brothers.
Actual Rating 3.70
I had a hard time connecting with these characters. That’s not to say that I didn’t like Finn or London, but I really couldn’t believe he asked her out after reading her parents will to her. I also couldn’t connect with London’s grief and her independent woman mantra. The story was ok for the most part. The fact that they were neighbors while she visited her parents home in Martha’s Vineyard and she really got to know Finn and a relationship formed between them. When they went to their normal lives I liked that they were figuring out their personal lives so they could still be together. They were learning more about each other. But at the same time I felt that both of their behavior was extra and unnecessary. Finn was a “control freak” because he wanted to buy London expensive things and she’d get annoyed because she can afford those things on her own and didn’t need him to buy them even though he just wanted to. He also does something without asking her and it blows up into this big old thing which I felt wasn’t all that serious and created unnecessary conflict.
I’m a bit iffy about how much I liked this book. It was definitely a quick read. I love a lot of this authors books, but I didn’t love this one like her books in the past. It has some good parts despite the parts that I thought could have been left out, but I still enjoyed reading this book.
Loved this so much.
Things hadn’t gone easy for London after injuring her leg in a accident. The accident had turned London’s world underside down. It’s changed her life not in a good way. Being in Broadway was her life and even that was being turned around. The only thing that was goin well in her life was the hot sexy attorney Finn dealing with her case and he just happens to be her neighbour at her beach house.
Finn is a partner in a law firm with his brother and brother in law. Things haven’t alway been easy for him he has had to work his backside off to get where he is but it all paid off. He has never wanted to get close to a woman till he met London. At the tender age of nearly 40 he really needed to sort his life out. So meeting London came at a good time in his life. She made everything better in his life.
I think Finn and London made such a cute couple. Things went pretty smooth for them. Finn was there for London through her hard times and helped get her life back on track. I did find Finn and London a little annoying at times he needs to learn the word listen cause he couldn’t do it at times and London was just a lil all over the place. I do understand why she was cause she has been through a lot. London is really independent so when Finn started changing things she wasn’t happy. I did think that these two were really hot they could get enough of each other. They fit into each other’s life so quickly they are just perfect together.
When I found out Kristen Proby is goin to do a new series I get so excited so getting this book early is amazing. I couldnt wait I had to start it. I really didn’t want to put it down once I started it. But i did find that the story ended quick I wanted more at the end. I did think the story was really good though it’s flowed really well and I was dying to know what was goin to happen between Finn and London. There are a few parts that I wanted more from so I hope I get to find out more as the series goes on. I would recommend this book I m a huge Kristen Proby fan and there isn’t a good that’s I haven’t enjoyed. I m really looking forward to more of this series.
This is the first book in the Romancing Manhattan Series and if this first book is any indication of what’s to come, this will be another MUST read series! London is a beautiful, well to do Broadway star who was involved in a traumatic tragedy with her family and encounters Finn a wealthy lawyer who is handling her family’s estate. Finn and London’s story begins with loss and heartache but turns into so much more…… finding the one person who makes you feel whole and loved unconditionally. I loved this book and can’t wait for the next one in the series.
I didn’t realize how many books of Kristen Proby I had read until I came to do this review. I adore her books. The leave me feeling happy and content. That doesn’t always happen. There are many books that I don’t finish.
This book was wonderful from the beginning until the very end. There were some sad moments, some scary moments, even some moments that left me wondering if Finn and London would get their Happily Ever After.
London and Finn meet under sad circumstances. He is the lawyer for her parents estate. They died in a fire that she survived. She is a Broadway star. There was no way I could see them meeting up again. Boy was I happy with their second encounter. The secondary characters, all except one, were wonderful, easy to like. They helped make the story amazing.
