#1 New York Times bestseller Charlaine Harris finally returns to her fan-favorite Aurora Teagarden series with All the Little Liars, a fabulously fun new mystery and the basis for a movie from Hallmark. Aurora Teagarden is basking in the news of her pregnancy when disaster strikes her small Georgia town: four kids vanish from the school soccer field in an afternoon. Aurora’s 15-year-old brother … afternoon. Aurora’s 15-year-old brother Phillip is one of them. Also gone are two of his friends, and an 11-year-old girl who was just hoping to get a ride home from soccer practice. And then there’s an even worse discovery–at the kids’ last known destination, a dead body.
While the local police and sheriff’s department comb the county for the missing kids and interview everyone even remotely involved, Aurora and her new husband, true crime writer Robin Crusoe, begin their own investigation. Could the death and kidnappings have anything to do with a group of bullies at the middle school? Is Phillip’s disappearance related to Aurora’s father’s gambling debts? Or is Phillip himself, new to town and an unknown quantity, responsible for taking the other children? But regardless of the reason, as the days go by, the most important questions remain. Are the kids still alive? Who could be concealing them? Where could they be?
With Christmas approaching, Aurora is determined to find her brother…if he’s still alive.

I have been waiting a long time for a new Aurora Teagarden mystery and it did NOT disappoint!! Yeah! Five plus stars.
Even if you’ve never read the series about the short librarian who loves to solve crimes between dating and marrying and becoming a widow …..it is so easy to catch up and sit back for the ride.
The kidnapping of her step brother Philip and his friends and an 11 year old girl is just scary, unreal and very perplexing. Roe, Aurora, tries to find her step brother with the help of her new hubby, Robinson Crusoe and with interference from her estranged Dad.
The plotting is excellent, lots of characters that you love/hate as soon as you meet them. The families of the missing teens are introduced. Into the plot runs the theme of bullying, mean girls, and family.
Poor Roe should be celebrating her marriage to Robin and the fact she is pregnant but instead she’s trying to find her brother. Plenty of suspense, the heartbreak of losing one young teen, the anxiety of the parents and the big question: Why kidnap a car of teenagers, a younger girl and where are they??
I read this in one afternoon as I carried it all over and could not put it down. I figured out Who kidnapped but not Why. Beautifully plotted, red herrings, and some young girls that are vicious really kept me involved. I can’t wait for her next book on Aurora. Please read them all as they are very enjoyable and intelligent!!
I hoard anything she writes and save it for down and alone times. Nuff said!
I’m not a huge fan of cozy mysteries, but I’ll read those by Charlaine Harris. All the Little Liars is part of the Aurora Teagarden cozy mystery series. If you like cozy mysteries, I recommend reading this series, starting with the first and going forward, since the characters’ lives change and grow with the series.
I like Charlaine Harris’ non-paranormal books quite a lot, my favorite series, with Lily Bard she hasn’t written on in awhile, but this series she has on the Hallmark Channel and that may be why a new book came out. While it’s not my favorite of her series, I still like it quite a lot and enjoy the characters and the plots she comes up with. it take place in a small town outside of Atlanta, the lead character has gone through amazing changes since the start of the series and this one deals with one of the most recent, becoming a mother. While the mysteries are always well crafted and keep me guessing for most of the book, I really do read them for the characters who are really likeable and fun to follow through all their changes. If you like small town cozies with a female lead, I think you’ll love this series and this book. I tend to want to start in the beginning but if you have read the others and want to know if this is worth reading, it is indeed. But then I’ve never not enjoyed one of her many books. It’s a solid, fun cozy written by a very good author.
As always, Charlaine Harris brings a wonderful story in her Aurora Teagarden series. Loved every page and worth reading multiple times.
