There was a fire.
A dead girl.
And I was there.
All The Lies is a dark new adult book that contains dubious situations some readers might find offensive and/or triggering. If you’re looking for a hero, you won’t find him in Asher Carson. Please don’t read if any of that bothers you.
All The Lies is part of a duet and is NOT standalone. The entire duet will be released two weeks apart.

Wow, Dante’s inferno was definitely not hotter then this, and it’s only book 1. My mind is jumping with so many scenarios, loving it. Reina can’t remember anything who are these people, who is Asher, he blows hot and cold, or is it me because I can’t remember. I voluntarily reviewed this book
This book gave me all the feels. I was shocked. Confused. Betrayed. Reading the first part of Rina’s story was like diving into the ocean at night – you can sense sea creatures swimming around you, but you don’t know how dangerous and how close to you they really are. It was the fear of the unknown that literally made me shiver while I was reading – I tried my best to understand what was happening, but failed spectacularly.
I felt bad for Reina because she was lost, she didn’t know who she could trust and she felt completely alone.
I had mixed feeling towards Asher – I just felt that I couldn’t trust him.
The ending of this first part was a freaking whiplash that will leave you with your mouth open and yearning for more.
I have so many theories swirling around my head and I’d happy to share them privately with you if you want.
I wish I could say more about Rina and Asher, but I can’t because everything I’d like to say is a spoiler.
I hope you’ll read this book because it’s worth it, I can’t wait to read the second part!
Rina Kent has officially made me crazy. Because after finishing All The Lies, I am positively ruined. I am trying hard to make sense of this dark, twisted and intense bully romance. And failing miserably.
Reina Ellis woke up at hospital after an “accident” without any memory of her life. Apparently she is the captain of cheerleading squad at Blackwood college, queen bee, orphan, heiress to her real estate mogul father’s company and engaged to Asher Carson. The guy who hates her with everything. Like everyone in Blackwood College. She is fighting for her identity because she cannot match herself with old Reina. Asher is torturing her and threatening her at every step. She is desperately trying to get the pieces of her life together and seek some kind of redemption. But danger is coming. She just do not know who that person is.
This story is a freaking maze. Half the time I cannot be sure what I am reading is exactly happening. This is all part of a big and complicated game. And I don’t even know the players. Reina Ellis is truly a queen. And I am not talking about pre accident, snobby, cruel and heartless Reina. I mean the present Reina. She has real guts to face the popular kids in her new ways and still hold power. I love how she is trying to do right to everyone. And I have question. Can a person change so much? Is she hiding something? And why does Asher hate her so much yet appear to be always rescuing her from near death situations? Asher is the kind of arrogant, rude, gorgeous and infuriating guy who you want to slap and kiss at the same time. His cruelty is enticing. His anger is bliss. They have a toxic chemistry tinged with anger, hatred and mistrust. But they also have a magnetic connection that pulls them together. This is a prime example of expertly written enemies to lovers or bully romance. The contradictory moments of push and pull, tears and ecstasy and finally, hate and love were portrayed beautifully! And I still have questions! Because that ending was pure torture!
All The Lies by Rina Kent made my head spin, chest ache and soul heart. This is all kinds of angsty deliciousness wrapped in sensational writing!

What’s this book about? (I’m trying to give as little spoilers as possible)
Reina Ellis wakes up one day and she can’t remember a past in which she was popular, gorgeous and the queen. She’s told that Asher Carson is her fiancé, but it’s not a loving relationship. He wants to end her and make her pay for what she’s done.
“God knows I tried
Sometimes, I wake up in the morning
To red, blue, and yellow lights
On Monday, they destroyed me
But by Friday, I’m revived.”

This is my first Rina Kent read and oh, what a glorious start! This is the first book of the Lies & Truths Duet. Part Two will come out on March 26, 2020. I need it NOW because this was an incredible read! I couldn’t put it down. I kept trying to guess what was happening. Right after I finished, I claimed that I guessed the twist. A couple of hours later, I’m second-guessing. I have another theory up my sleeve and I’m not putting it down just yet. I’m thinking that I only guessed what Reina finds out in the end of book 1. Thinking back to how it ended, I feel like there was no actual confirmation. Maybe I’m overanalyzing, but this is just what this book did to me! It was packed with mystery! What a cut-throat atmosphere, from page one! The characters had intense chemistry; I loved reading Reina’s POV. Her tormentors, because with her amnesia THERE ARE MANY, are all unique and exquisitely evil. I can’t wait to find out how New Reina will be treated because of Old Reina’s actions. The steam was HOT HOT HOT! The author was teasing us throughout the novel and LORD, WAS IT GOOD. The Evil Witch enjoyed Asher a lot. Reina and Asher’s relationship developed throughout the novel and it grew organically into a bad or good direction, you decide. If All The Lies was just the beginning, what will happen in All The Truths? I CAN’T WAIT!
I recommend this read to lovers of twisty mystery reads, amnesia reads, strong heroines on a path to redemption, steamy chemistry that burns you and a tortured and revenge-seeking male lead that you’ll love to hate (and love, big brothers are hot).
“You’re nothing, Reina. You’re only something when I decide you are.”
Wowza. Rina Kent has officially blown my mind and all that jazz once again. Her stories are mind-blowing and really make you think about what could possibly happen next. But don’t make assumptions because she will blow those to ****.
Rina Kent doesn’t write lovey doves heroes. There are no rainbows and butterflies in her stories. She writes happily ever after for the villains.. but maaaan do I love them!!
All the Lies was one giant mind game to me. I still have no idea what is happening but I’m totally here for it. I have my theories. But we shall see! Rina always seems to make my theories look like child’s play.
Definitely anxious for book two!!
HOLY MOTHER FUDGING WOW! Rina Kent has officially blown my mind and holy fudgesicle was it fantastic! I am dying…D-Y-I-N-G…for the next book.
This is was my first Rina Kent book and what an introduction to her writing. Damn, girl! I don’t even have the words, so imma just incoherently fangirl my way through this review.
1. Asher Carson is everything. EVERYTHING. He’s enigmatic, cruel, savage almost in his coolness and I was here for it!!
2. Reina is a badass sass-pot! Home-chick can hold her own and I love that there’s fire in her.
3. The story y’all. Twisty doesn’t even begin to cover it. I’m out of nails and currently nursing my lips back to life from all the biting I did reading this freaking epic story.
4. The writing is exquisitely crafted. I was addicted to this book. From the characters to the story, everything was just so well done. And that cliffhanger. I need the next book immediately.
ALL THE LIES is clever, has perfectly executed plot, and writing and characters that pull you in and never let go. Rina Kent has made a new stalker, I mean fan, out of me! 5 stars.
FIVE MIND BLOWING STARS for Reina and Asher !!!
Rina Kent is definitely one of my favorite/top authors and her books never disappointed me.
I love her writing style and her amazing ideas for an interesting storyline.
This book is more than good…
… it’s absolutely amazing!!!
“All the Lies” is the first book in “Lies & Truths Duet”.
It’s a dark college romance with a lot of twists and turns that will make you read it without break till the very end.
Reina and Asher’s relationship is complicated because Reina doesn’t remember her past and Asher hates her because of something she did to him in the past.
All the secrets trough the whole book made me read this book as fast as can because I wanted to know the truth.
But, of course for that, I need ASAP the next book.
If you loved the “Royal Elite” series, then this is the book for you!!!
P.S. I can’t wait for the second book “All the Truths” to find out what will happen to Reina and Asher!!!
Reina’s life is now mine to own. Mine to torture. Mine to finish
Wow what an insane, intense and intruiging ride. I loved this story so much and I honestly have no idea what on earth is happening or who to even trust or what will happen in book 2 but I just know it’ll be good.
This story follows Reina who is such an interesting character. She is suffering from amnesia after a horrible attack and is trying to figure out what in her life feels right and what doesn’t. She is torn with a battle in her mind of the girl she is now and the girl she is told she used to be. I loved everything about her character. She is sassy and doesn’t put up with a lot. She pushes back everytime she gets the chance and doesn’t allow all the crazy shit that is constantly thrown her way get her down. She is incredibly strong yet so vulnerable.
Her chemistry with Asher was FIRE and though I still have no idea how to feel about him or half the people in the story as I find myself not trusting anyone around Reina. I wasn’t sure in the beginning how this story would go or if I’d even like it but the more I read the more I couldn’t stop. I was completely hooked trying to come up with possible outcomes to where the story might go and I still have no clue but I can not wait to see how this story ends.
As this is a duet this book ends on a cliffhanger and can not be read as a standalone. As stated in the beginning by the author this is a dark romance that can be triggering so take caution when reading.
I really enjoyed the book. It is a shorter read, but it did go by really fast. If you’ve read the Deviant King, this one is similar to that. There’s plenty of darkness, mystery, and drama going on in the book. I really enjoyed reading about Reina and how she navigated her memory loss when she went back to her life and realized that old Reina was a totally different person. Ends in a cliffhanger.
“ – , .”
I am in complete ..
Just when I thought Rina couldn’t do it better, she drops a book that mess up so much with your brain that you can’t think straight anymore! is literally mindf*ck midnf*ck mindf*ck that’s the best way to explain it.
This book has it all
The title already said it so many and I can’t wait for part Two all The !!!! Am I now going to bribe Rina for an early arc of All the Truth? YUP! Am I going to die or loneliness waiting for it? YUP YUP is it gonna be worth it? HELL YEAH! You really don’t want to miss this story

UM… WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!?!?!?! This is my first book by Rina Kent and her words just blew me away. The concept of this story and how it plays out makes you wonder what is going on. While I have two theories in my mind, I will not dish since you know, spoilers are horribly evil! Between the flow of the story and how I devoured it, I NEED MORE! I need answers. I need to know what exactly is happening and why. That ending left me speechless. This push and pull between Reina and Asher is spellbinding. Leaves you wondering and asking so many questions. I am intrigued. Lost for words. Absolutely everything. The pain in both of them is very evident as they navigate this whole story.
Over all, I absolutely ate up every single word in this book. Because I knew it was a duet, I knew we were going to get some kind of bang and that would leave us dying for the second one. Let me tell you, you will be screaming to get your hands on the second. I am currently right now and I know at least we do not have long to wait for it!
4.5 Twisted Stars!!!
Rina Kent has become my Go-To Author for twisted stories that grab you from the beginning, keep you entranced throughout and leave you yearning for more!!!
It’s hard to say anything without giving too much away, if you enjoy a bully romance with twists that leave you reeling pick this one up ~ Reina and Asher will definitely worm their way into your psyche.
I can’t wait for the conclusion, you got me hooked….
Wow! This book sucked me in from the start. Had me guessing and wondering where this story was going. So many twists and turns, that had my head in a total spin. Even now can’t stop thinking about this book.
Don’t want to give too much away. You need to read and experience yourself….So good!
All The Lies is the first book of the Lies & Truths Duet, and in Rina Kent’s style, it has romance, suspense, and a mysterious anti-hero. The title fits it perfectly, because what you learn by reading this book is not what it seems. But what is the lie and what is the truth?
Reina Ellis wakes up from a coma and finds herself engaged to Asher Carson, a beautiful yet disturbing human being. At least to her. She doesn’t know how she got hurt nor how did she end up in that situation. Reina’s struggle is real, and as you read, you wonder the same things as she does. What the hell happened?
Reina feels like she doesn’t belong to the life everyone tells her she lead. She was the queen bitch, the top cheerleader, and the fiancée of the most popular guy at college. She did despicable things, but she doesn’t remember anything and this of course startles her and upsets the people around her, who were used to her personality pre-accident. Above all, Reina wants to start anew, but it’s impossible when you are reminded every day that you were horrible, so I can feel Reina’s pain when people don’t believe her and think she is lying.
Asher is Reina’s fiancée but only by title. As you see, he considers her his, but he doesn’t feel an ounce of affection towards her. And the Reina after the come is a person he doesn’t recognize, and it makes things difficult for him, considering he hates her and he makes it clear from the moment Reina wakes up from her coma. Asher is a true anti-hero and it’s the type of character you easily like but at the same time want to punch in the face for the way he treats Reina. He’s intriguing, dark, and unsettling, since at time he does things you wouldn’t expect (bad and good).
As a couple, Reina and Asher have hot chemistry. They clash because it’s evident they have to be together because of some circumstances, but they’d rather keep their distance. But they also sizzle because the bickering allures each other. Asher sees sides of Reina he never saw before, and he’s suspicious and weary. Why is she behaving this way? And Reina, despite being under Asher’s radar, feels drawn to him in ways she never thought possible after waking up. But… will he ever change?
I’ve already read other books by Rina Kent and if you did too, you’ll know that there isn’t only romance (super, super, dark romance) but also suspense. I think that you shouldn’t trust nobody’s words in this book, because words are bound to confuse and manipulate you. She is good at making you think something and then making you find out what you were thinking was wrong, and I love this mystery factor, this suspense factor. Because it makes it everything more complex. Like the ending. This book does end with a cliffhanger, but thankfully the second part comes out on March 26th, which is so close.
I know we will finally have the truth in the next book (well, is called All the Truths for a reason, lol XD) and the truth will set us free… won’t it? I have a theory that has been sitting on my mind ever since the beginning, but I’ll keep it for me because it would ruin your reading. Maybe if I’m right I’ll write it in the review for the second book. For now… let’s be patient. March 26th is not far.
Rina’s writing has the ability to pull you in with her words and leave you shocked and begging for more. She has mastered writing her dark heroes as they are deviant, aggressive and most definitely a jerk that you can’t help but swoon over. Asher is no exception with his dark nature and hate towards Rei but also his sense of protectiveness of her even though it might not always be obvious. Ash and Rei’s chemistry is explosively hot, yummy and with some steamy scenes that make your mouth water. You just can’t help constantly routing for them.
I am currently sitting outside with a glass of wine while writing this review. The wine was much needed after this book and my brain was on total overdrive with how good it was. I could not stop reading and kept itching to turn the pages to find out more. I am here slowly dying while having to wait for the next book.
I kicked a chair, I reread scenes, I drank a bottle of wine and I still sit here wanting more and more. Rina has absolutely killed this book and I can not express enough how much this book will leave you with your mouth open and your soul begging for more.
Do yourself a favor and bless your kindles with this magnificent book – If you LOVE the a**holes, the mystery and the possessiveness, then boy you’re in for one hell of ride and most definitely one you will never forget.
4,5 star
All The Lies is the first book in Lies & Truths Duet. We can read this from Reina and G’s POV. I’m thinking who is he, but I don’t know for sure. The story runs in multiple threads. The main theme is Reina’s amnesia and her past. We can read at the side thread about Reina & Asher’s past, and we know that some kind of mystery in the background. I really really hate the old Reina, I think the new Reina is far better. However, this is a totally unknown world for me so maybe she was a reason to be so cruel. Asher is a total mystery to me. (yes, even after these). I really like him and totally understand his reasons, but I think he is kidding himself. He’s hot and cold as ice at once. He is totally unknowable. He’s a real a**hole in general but when he shows what’s beneath the surface, that’s worth all the suffering!
Enjoy the twists, the desire between them and I loved the whole story. I can’t wait to read the bonus epilogue from Asher’s POV and All The Truths. I’m curious what she has in store for us for Rina.
Oh, and a little reminder girls: #AsherIsMine
Wow. Where do I even start? My mind is currently spinning. This was my first Rina Kent book but that is about to change! First, I cannot wait to get my hands on book two. Then I am reading all of the others ASAP!
ARC kindly provided, all thoughts in this review are my own.
This is book one of a duet and I am going to keep it very vague as to preserve your reading experience. I knew very little too. Girl survives incident but with none of her memories. Apparently she wasn’t a very good person in the past and she doesn’t understand. There also happens to be a boy that very much wants to destroy her for her past actions. Sinister things are at play and our girl is just trying to piece things together and survive her new reality.
When I started the book, I wasn’t even much of a reading mood but once I read the first couple of chapters, All the Lies quickly changed my attitude. I could not put it down. I loved the fast pace. Things kept moving along and there was never a dull moment. Everyone is suspect and I have so many theories. I cannot wait to read book two and see how everything is going to unfold. I highly recommend if you prefer a little hate to love or suspense thrown into your stories but I also highly recommend if you just want something highly entertaining that will have you on the edge of your seat while furiously flipping those pages! I adored this. Truly. It should be available now so if you haven’t started it yet or one clicked it yet then you need to right now. Now, if you’ll excuse me. I am off to stalk when I can get book two in my hands! Rina Kent
This book was a amazing! Its got everything you want from Rina Kent. Dark, twisted, full of heat and suspense!
Wow, this cliffhanger is mind blowing! The is the first book in the Lies and Truth duet series and OMG, hold on because you are in for quite the ride with this duet. This book was amazing from beginning to end—I devoured it in one day. This one hit it out of the water! Another great hit by Rina Kent with this raw, emotional, interesting story with all of its angst, drama, and compelling story that was impossible to put down. ALL THE LIES was filled with lots of twists/turns, suspense and the right amount of danger. It is a tangled mess of lies, secrets, games, and whodunit. Just when you think you have it all figured out, it takes a new turn making you realize just how wrong you were. Yes, bully romances with elitist alpha males are all the rage, and I admit to loving it when it is well done.
This is Asher and Reina’s story. You will recall, Asher Carson was in the Royal Elite series. Reina Ellis’ father was rich, and after her father passed, she lived with Alexander (Alex) Carson, Asher’s father and her guardian. An incident occurred that Reina was found in the woods unconscious, when she awoke in the hospital with Asher was by her side. How do you react when you do not know what happened or why you are there in the hospital? Reina considered herself a victim, but was she? I loved how Reina started to become her own person, but still stubborn—trying not letting Asher control her. Reina really liked Asher even though he was cold and hated her so much that he was trying to ruin her life, but she did not know why. Now, the shitty part is she should have known a pretty boy like Asher was too good to be true. Reina and Asher have a unique relationship—I love to hate you. They push and pull through the entire book making you question everything. They will fascinate you and frustrate you at the same time. Lines will be crossed, secrets will be revealed, and Reina will find out the truth of why Asher hates her so much. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat to find out what happened next. Their journey is full of deception, hurt, trust, and lies. Rina Kent delivered a powerful, addictive, intriguing, emotional, and all-consuming story that left me obsessed and yearning for more. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book!
Reina and Asher have known been engaged for quite some time. Unfortunately, she doesn’t remember him. Unfortunately she doesn’t remember about her life when she woke up. What she finds out leaves her reeling. How can that be that her? Was she really that kind of person?
When Asher calls her his ugly monster, she doesn’t understand at first but she’s beginning to see what he meant. Can she really be that person that they say? What happens when she starts to feel more than hatred towards Asher? What happens if Asher does too?
I couldn’t put this down, was waiting to see what was going to happen next. Second guessing myself on who I thought the bad people were and absolutely can’t wait to get my hands on the next book.
