Who needs a man when Rina just effed me over! My brain is raw from the fucking it got. This was interesting, fastpaced, sexy. The mystery and angst were to die for. Seriously you need this book. I have ZERO answers sooo many questions the execution was flawless. AH-MAY-ZING.
I can’t wait for the next one.
Interesting! It’s the kind of plot where you sort of know what happened but need to read the story to learn how it develops. And on top, there’s a low thrum of suspense because there’s something afoot and this time, you have no idea what it is!
This book was riveting because it was like climbing uphill with a heavy weight in your backpack, it all feels so hopeless. Reina wakes up from a concussion and lost all her memories. And on top of having no memories, she has a fiancee she doesn’t remember but who hates her with a passion. He even calls her monster and there are several incidents where he’s specially cruel and scary with her.
She’s taken to her guardian’s house to recover, where her hateful fiancee Asher also lives. Her guardian Alex is also Asher’s father. I can’t imagine how it must feel to live in a house where everyone knows you and your history but you have no inkling. And on top of things, Reina is beginning to discover that she was evil through and through. Selfish, entitled, cruel. When she starts attending college again, she realizes just how ample her misdeeds are. She made up pranks designed to hurt those more vulnerable, she was spiteful with everyone she deems below her, she’s hateful to the servants in her house.
As the days pass by and she keeps on learning truths about her past behavior, she realizes it doesn’t jive with her present attitudes. She has dreams and passing thoughts that also don’t jive with who she thinks she is. Asher is still hateful but starts to get confused. There’s a murder that happened near where she was found concussed and she’s a person of interest in the crime. Her guardian is also her lawyer and her deceased father’s best friends. There is information about the past that feels incorrect against her feelings.
This story was riveting because there are a lot of happenings that add to the uncertainty and no information to clear up, so the title sounds so apt for what is happening in the book. I would say it’s all the lies and all the uncertainties, LOL. The book ends with a cliffhanger and the expectation that all the lies will be cleared up in the sequel. I have my suspicions based on Reina’s dreams so will be waiting impatiently for All The Truths!
Wow!!! Rina Kent blew my mind with All The Lies! She completely left me speechless!!! I was hooked from the very first page!
Reina Ellis is involved in an incident in the beginning of the book that leaves her with memory loss. She isn’t sure who she is. The more she finds out about herself before the accident, the less she likes that person. She was beautiful and popular, but she was also full of darkness and evil. Not someone whom people liked or respected. People reacted to her out of fear and hate. One person who falls into the category of “hating Reina” was her fiance, Asher.
Asher is also full of darkness, and I couldn’t tell whether he had feelings for her or hated her. One thing is certain, and it doesn’t take it long to see that she has done something to make him want payback. As the story progresses, hints are dropped that show the readers what it is.
Speaking of the story, it moves quite rapidly, so you should buckle up because it is a wild ride full of twists. The chemistry between Reina and Asher is sizzling. As much as the book is about their relationship, it’s also about mystery, darkness, and redemption. Reina isn’t quite sure who she is. Those around her aren’t quite sure who she is because of the positive changes she is making in her life. I am still not quite sure who Reina really is. That is the beauty of the book. What are the lies and what is the truth? The cliffhanger was unlike anything I have ever read before. It didn’t make me angry…it just left me wanting more!!!! Book 2 can’t release soon enough!!!!!
What in the entire world did I just read? This book y’all is a trip with all the luggage and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading. The secrets, lies, twists and turns had me eagerly swiping on my e-reader, wanting to know what was going to happen, the relationship between Reina and Asher, the reason for his hatred towards her and his changing, confusing reaction towards her; he doesn’t, under any circumstances, want to stop hating Reina, but the chemistry between them can’t be denied.
“Fuck, you taste like sweet torture.”
I’ve died and ascended into heaven, I’m certain of it, because nothing this perfect exists. Enemies to lovers is my absolute favourite kind of romance to devour—an honest affliction and irresistible fascination more addictive than coffee. Weaved with the most thrilling and compelling amnesia narratives ever written, Rina Kent decimated me in the best conceivable manner with All the Lies. Shame on me for not reading her twisted romances sooner.
“You’re mine to screw and destroy, my ugly monster. It’s time to get used to that.”
Asher Carson, the broodiest and moodiest anti-hero to ever ruin me, pulled me into an inescapable vortex of disordered emotions and bewildered thoughts. Enticed me towards his unavoidable darkness and ruthless nature of torture and torment. Asher’s slow but sure transformation made me ache to have more because there’s so much to discover behind the conceited disinterest and his relentless cold exterior.
In adverse situations and uncertain circumstances, Reina Ellis is all sassiness and feistiness. Her confidence withered and coldness vanished, but she’s determined to retrieve her buried memories and become a better, kinder version of herself. Reina’s encased in uncertainties and unanswerable questions. But God, I love Reina’s tenacious attitude in difficult scenarios and the way she bit back at Asher.
“Who knew behind such a beautiful face lurked a nightmare?”
With hate filled scenes, an undeniable connection and heated, fervent banter, I damn near combusted from such intense chemistry that bloomed and flourished. In slow but sure fashion melted as sexual tension burned and scorched between Asher and Reina. I couldn’t resist the push and pull between the characters—it made this duet that more of an allure!
Without hesitation, I recommend All the Lies. Between a good written amnesia narrative, the unforeseen turns and twists, and the connection between Asher and Reina, you will be left ecstatic for all the sordid outcomes—my head is filled with numerous theories and endless questions. I adored the suspense-filled and angst-ridden nature of this romance, I can’t wait to witness the intricacies to unwind.
“You’re a psycho.”
“It takes one to know one, my ugly monster.”
4.5 Stars
This was my first book by this author and what an introduction it was.
The angst and mystery surrounding Reina and tormentors had me flipping the pages so fast to find out what was next. I knew this was a duet and kept wondering how much we would learn in this and how tortured we would be waiting for the conclusion.
Reina & Asher obviously have a volatile past that was only hinted at but you just know it runs way deeper. Their interactions at times were strained and other off the charts hot.
This authors writing style at times had me second guessing myself when I thought I knew what was going on or was gonna happen. Between the main and secondary characters I was suspicious of them all at times, which I sure was the intention.
That ending, I may have yelled a few not PG words haha. I’m hanging in there for the grand finale. Let’s see if my guesses were right.
This was a great book. I really liked H and h and supporting characters. Very entertaining story will keep you on the edge of your seat.
An amnesia read with a difference, this one will leave you reeling, wondering who’s good, who’s and just what the heck is going on! There are mysteries and lies galore, with not much to work on except from the very first chapter, we are given a bit of a heads up as to what is going on.
Reina wakes up in hospital with memory loss, with a fiance, Asher, who hasn’t left her side, but her calls her Monster and gives her chills, and not in a good way! As she gets home and interacts with the people who would normally be around her, a picture starts to form of the life and the girl she was before the accident, and its not a pretty picture. It seems Reina used to be an Ice Queen, very plastic and pretentious…. but Reina since the accident is anything but. She feels guilty for what she has done before and tries to make amends, tries to be friends properly…. no one can quite believe the difference in her and many believe it’s some sort of game, especially Asher.
Reina finds herself attracted to Asher, even though he is nothing but cold and callous, brutal at times, gentle at others, he is left hating her and wanting to make her pay (for what we don’t know) but again can’t believe the difference in her! Their attraction and passion are off the charts, but Asher finds himself unable to keep his hands off her, while fighting to keep his hatred.
There are lots of secrets being kept here and no one is telling what’s going on.
A great story lines, lots of plot twists, this will have you on the edge of your seat from the start and you try and figure out what is going on and why. I can’t wait for the next book.

Rina Kent, you dirty dirty dog you. What a twisted, mind game you are playing with me. All the Lies: Lies & Truth Duet has completely jacked my brain up. Bravo! Phenomenal!
How do I review this book? I have no freaking clue because I am second guessing myself everytime I think… Well Reina at the beginnings and then I start… Is Naomi… Well, Lucy? And now Asher? I have read books with twists but this is a complicated Mariner knot that I have absolutely no clue how to untangle. I need book 2 pronto!
This is not even in one of the genres because this is in one all on it’s own.
Rina Kent had me a Crow and she will have me always. This woman is Brilliant!
Rina Kent is a new author for me but I was intrigued by the blurb from this first book. And it got me from page one and did not let go to the unbelievable cliffy last page!!!! The writing is sharp, smart, descriptive and captivating. I saw everything play out in color. There is a brief glimpse or clue of something in the first few pages and it leaves you with an unsettling feeling, even worse than what is actually happening, a violent attack and a fire. The next thing a beautiful young woman wakes up with no memory of who she is or what happened to her. She learns that her name is Reina and that she is engaged and that she had been a horrible person to those around her. All of this feels wrong to Reina. She can’t see herself doing these awful things, but she can see in her fiancé, Asher’s, eyes the amount of rage he feels for her for what she has done to him. This of course she can’t remember. The mystery, suspense and angst builds slowly and simultaneously an unlikely real attraction begins between Reina and Asher. Asher questions who he is with as Reina has never been genuine or caring. Reina says she doesn’t want to be that other person anymore. But something ominous is lurking in the background. Everyone is a suspect and the objective still isn’t entirely clear. I love how Rina Kent had Reina have an internal dialogue and ask herself questions I wanted to ask myself. I couldn’t put the book down. I was consumed with wanting to know what was going to happen next, would there be some hint or clue. Ultimately there is the major cliff hanger and fortunately there is only 2 weeks to wait for the very exciting conclusion. Definitely your easiest next 1 click!!!

What a great book. I love them dark with tons of mystery thrown in and this doesn’t disappoint. Asher is a grade A jerk, or…is he? The by play between Reina, and Asher is off the charts. The author did a great job of meshing their two personalities.. The lavish rich world in which these characters live of course add to the overall feelings in this book.
The mystery, angst, absolute hatred, twists, turns, and so much more is packed into the first half of this duet. I cannot wait to read the second half, and get some answers. Rina Kent is quickly turning into a favorite go to author. She writes so beautifully, I cannot get enough of her words.
Rina Kent has done it again!
I first read a book that was a part of a set, and Rina had been one of the authors included. Since then, I actively look for and check up when new books are coming from this author.
I have to say, All The Lies had me on my toes the entire story. It is unique and consuming. I certainly had an extremely hard time putting it down. Responsibilities damned, I sat and read until my heart was content. BUT, that ending. I am SO excited for the next one!
All The Lies tells the story of a girl named Reina, who had been beat so badly, and when she woke up, it turns out that she now has amnesia. She finds out that she has a fiance, and she also finds out that he despises her.
This story really brought forth my love the enemies to lover trope again, and I am so psyched for book 2, and for whatever else Rina has up her sleeve for the future!
5 stars without any doubts
Ok……this book, this effing book is mesmerizing and extremely captivating, that’s what this book is.
To be quite honest, I have never read a book by Rina, but it was definitely on radar how popular her Royal Elite series is. And when I read the small hook she posted on this new series, I felt the need to sign up for the blogger promos. At the moment I received my arc and read this enticing story in one-sit, I just knew Rina Kent had gained another loyal reader to her already existing fan/reader-base, and now I feel like I owe it to her to express how much I enjoyed All The Lies (Lies & Truths Duet Book 1) .
This book a bit different from what I have been reading and that’s what made me fall in love with it, the plot and storytelling are pretty damn awesome, I think Rina has a fascinating way of writing and I am very pleased with the outcome of this book. The whole thing is a mystery mixed with a bit of passion and lots of hidden secrets, I won’t be telling more, read the book, you’ll get what I’m feeling afterwards.
Please that heed of my words and give this one a chance, you won’t regret it, I certainly don’t, the only thing that matters is the next book!
I can’t get enough from this author!! I loved her Royal Elites and the same can be said for this duet! Mind officially blown! I have so my theories and questions, I can’t wait for the next book! I need it pronto!
We meet Asher in the last book of the Royal Elite series and I had NO IDEA, none, zip, zero, zilch. Asher is out for blood. He is plotting revenge, but WHY??? That’s my biggest question.
If you are loving the bully or enemies to lovers genre, this one is a MUST READ!!!
All the Lies strangled my existence. Prettily and in a very tortured manner. I was jumbled and all over the place. Rina Kent is just natural at writing the sexiest bully romances in the most enticing and infuriating ways. Just like you can not resist her stories, Reina Ellis was helpless to our anti hero’s charms and seduction games.
Waking up with no memory can be harmful. But waking up with everyone hating you with their last bones is even more dangerous. Someone is out there to make her pay for what she did – the proudly and annihilating Reina is gone and we face a new girl, who’s lost as a lamb. Who puts others first before her. I was excited to see how this new facade of hers affected Asher, who’s apparently her fiancé now. But for what reasons?
His cruelty knew no bounds. He was the type of man to eat you alive, chew you and spit you out like garbage. But with Reina? Poor man is so lost, at one time he’s dangerous and the other, he’s a ruthless Savage in bed. Sexy times, oooo! Their story had a grace and saving abilities from boredom. Their passionate exchanges – verbal or physical were like a boon to my body. I couldn’t get enough and I’d generally blame the author for making my insides feel like this but right now, I can’t even do that. Why? It’s a duet. The anticipation still haunts me as every second passes by……..
Beauty & the Beast with a twist, this new release from Rina Kent is written to capture attention, to make you SO invested in the story you forget about everything around you. I’ve never read a similar plotline in a college/bully romance. Guys! I am SHOOK! What. The. F-ck. Mindblown.
The sexual tension between the main characters and THE HERO. Guys. The. Hero. Periodt.
How does this girl do it every time? All her heroes just!!! Asher will make you love him, Reina will have you rooting for her despite everything. This duet is filled with twists, turns and so many mysteries. It keeps you on the edge until the very end, I am dying for book two omfg. How will I survive?!
This will SURELY fuck you up in the BEST possible way. You wont know WHAT hit you guys!
This is the first book in the Lies & Truths Duet, and the story of Asher, and Reina. This book take you a roller coaster, of twist, and turns, highs, and lows, and leaves you lost, and in a web of lies, and secrets. This was an amazing read, the characters, are well written, and their story captivated me, and kept me glued to the pages. This was emotional, raw, gritty, intense, dark, twisted, suspenseful, and mysterious. This is a must read, and I can’t wait to read the next book.
I’m always amazed by the way Rina Kent writes the plot of her books, it’s really captivating, dark and it has so much mystery that the only thing you want to do is read to see the turns and twists of the events.u2063u2063
This book is about Reina, she wakes up one day without memories and engaged to Asher, who hates her for reasons she doesn’t know anything about.u2063u2063
I’m not going to try to explain the plot because everything is so well connected that giving something away can become a BIG spoiler, what I do want to say is the I loved Reina’s character, they said she used to be a mean girl and she does everything in her power to change that, she’s really stubborn and perceptive which are traits that I adore in female characters.u2063u2063
Asher, on the other hand, is more complicated, we don’t have his pov so far, so it was really difficult for me to connect or find a good side of him, but I can say that I’m so intrigued by him and I can’t wait to know his reasoning and motives to be the way he is.u2063u2063
Maybe my only complaint here is Asher and Reina as a couple, they do have great chemistry, but I feel like their relationship only got developed almost at the end so I really hope to see more changes between them in the next book.
I’m still in shock as to what I just read. This is the first book I read with an amnesia theme and boy do I have to say that it certainly reached my expectations.
I was on the edge of my seat with All the Lies and I have to say it certainly took me on a wild ride that I can’t seem to shake yet.
Ms. Kent has a great way to write these twisted, angsty books that will leave you certainly wanting more and always never ceases to surprise me.
I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen in All the Truths.
**This is a Duet so it has a serious cliffhanger! It is so worth it!!**
Rina Kent does it again!! All of her books do not disappoint. All the Lies takes off running from the get go. The story follows Reina and Asher’s story. Reina is navigating through memory loss and dealing with Asher’s hatred towards her. Despite Asher’s hate they are drawn to one another in an explosive way . Will Asher reveal why he hates her? Will Reina recover her memories? Will all the secrets be revealed? I need the second book today!!!
