Okay well FML!!!
This book literally just knocked me off my feet. Dark and twisty with all the feels.
The suspense of this story had me up till 2 in the morning, & made me stay in bed for an extra half hour before work so I can finish. && then that ending, I mean jaw hitting the floor, heart racing, I need more this minute type of ending!!!
The mystery of Reina is what really sold me on this story. It completely intrigued me and I can’t wait to see what happens next!!
5 stars!! This book is going to straight to my favorites. Another fantastic book!!
This is book one in the “Lies And Truths” Duet. This book can not be read as a stand alone seeing as ends in a cliffy!! But don’t fret it’s sooo good and the next drops by the end of the month!!
This book has my mind reeling. I still have no clue what is happening. The author captures into this love/hate shit and then traps you. Literally you have no way to get back out. I tried to slow it down so I could savor it but failed. This is a mind fuck in the best possible way.
These characters are all so vivid and lines end up blurring. Nobody knows who is the villain. We think we know but we have no clue. I enjoy these friendships and the new take to everything.
The words jump off the page effortlessly. Also, I didn’t feel like at any point in the book did it fall stagnant, or confusing. I didn’t have to go back re-read. This book was just so damn easy to read.
I have so many questions. We need book two now!!!
If you are looking for crazy, mysterious, sexy, funny, alpha (female and male), vengeful and so much more then this is the book for you!
**I received this book as an ARC and in return gave my honest review**
Forgetting your past or playing your future?
Reina and Asher what can you say there is a missing piece to the puzzle and I cannot wait to see if when the big picture is revealed if my theories are correct.
This one is all from “Reina” POV. Does Reina have amnesia or is she playing a prank? What happened to make Asher dislike her so much? Who is Ria?
Like all of Rina’s books this one leaves you wanting more. Thank goodness the second part of this one isn’t too far away.
Rina has the ability to give you just enough to pull you under and not let you go. Can’t wait for book 2.
Wow! This was my first Rina Kent book, and it definitely won’t be my last! I loved the banter between the characters, and the mystery behind the plot. I have so many theories and I can’t wait to find out the answers with book 2!
Total Rating:
Another amazing work by Rina kent!!!!!
Ever since I read the blurb of this duet at the end of twisted kingdom, I had been waiting for it!!
And this one ,sure did not disappoint me. Arsher was everything you could ask for in your boyfriend and the ending of this book!!! woaahhh!! that was really unexpected for me, i mean i should have seen that coming but it really surprised me.
But none the less i really enjoyed this book and i am going to keep this review short and just dive into the second part of the duet because I cant wait!!!
This on is recommended for all the bully romance lovers who love kick-ass heroine and a complete Psycho Hero , who is hell bent on revenge!!
After reading this duet and the royal elite trilogy, Rina kent surely made it to the top of my “favorite authors list”
OMG…THAT WAS AMAZING!!!!
I WAS NOT EXPECTING THAT AT ALL…i-
It’s twisted, corrupt and dirty all in one.
Rina is by far my favourite author and she’s never let me down – and hopefully, she never will. Her books are twisted and f****d up. She creates these sick, sadistic monsters and then creates beautiful women to fall in love with them.
I really enjoyed, the first part of, Reina and Asher’s story. It was full of a bunch of interesting plot twists and amazing characters. The only thing that really got to me was the lack of emotional development and connection between the two characters. Don’t get me wrong, the connection was there but it just wasn’t strong enough for me. All in all, I think it’s a great book and will be one of my favourites – as are all of Rina’s books 🙂
Stars ~ 4
I voluntarily reviewed an advance complimentary copy of this book.
All The Lies is the first book in the Lies and Truth Duet written by Rina Kent. Before I talk about the characters itself and the plot of this book I would like to shed some light on how incredible Rina’s writing is. Just the way this whole story is written is just absolutely beautiful. Each plot twist and scene was well thought of and I have to give credit where it is due.
The minute I started reading the book I was intrigued and invested in the main character Reina. Her story begins with her in the hospital having amnesia and not know who she is or who her friends are. She is forced into her previous lifestyle and she is lost on how to behave and act due to her memory loss. In the midst of all of this, she has to deal with her fiancé who not only hates her but she also does not remember. Reina’s character is so inspiring and pure, I couldn’t help be sympathize with her seeing her character so lost and only wanting to be loved. Can’t wait to see her character growth in All the Truths.
Here comes in Asher’s character. Since this book is written in Reina’s point of view, I couldn’t figure out what was going on in Asher’s twisted mind. It is no secret that he holds a grudge against Reina, however, the reason for his hatred is not revealed until the very end of the book. His behavior towards Reina often left me confused and conflicted but nonetheless I still loved his character.
Just way the Rina writes about her couples is mind-blowing. The chemistry between Asher and Reina is undeniable and sifting through all of the hatred, I could see the love and the adoration. Something in the way Rina writes makes me love her characters so much. She has written this book with so much detail and focus that as I was reading the book I could picture the scenes in my head.
One thing which is common is Rina’s writing are the cliffhangers and the story’s point of view. All of the Lies is heavily written in Reina’s point of view which is why we only get to see her side of the story first and then in the second book we get to see Asher’s point of view. In my opinion, this builds up suspense and enhances the storyline.
I have been a fan of Rina’s since Deviant King and this is my 7th book of hers and let me tell you she does not disappoint. If you have loved her previous work then trusts me without a doubt you will love this one as well. With the being said, if you are a fan of dark, mysterious, twisted love stories then I highly recommend you give this duet a shot.
Romance? Suspense? Thriller? encompasses them all!
All The Lies by Rina Kent is the first book of the Lies & Truths Duet. The book starts with a big-bang suspense prologue that draws you right into the story.
I am familiar with Rina and as usual, her writing does not disappoint! Set in the States, Reina(?) the Heroine lost her memory due to a head trauma incident and is quickly confronted by Asher the Hero (and Aiden King’s friend – if you don’t know Aiden from the Royal Elite series, then you have not read at all! LOL) and his profound hatred for her. Why the hatred, you ask? I kept asking myself that question too as I flipped through pages after pages trying to find out the million-dollar question. It is THAT addictive!!
The romance between the hero and heroine doesn’t build up gradually in this book, but I sense there will be more revelations about their relation with one another in the final book of the duet.
There are a few side characters briefly mentioned in this book (Owen, Sebastian, Naomi, Lucy) and I definitely see the potential for Rina to consider developing those characters with their own stories!
As book one of a duet series, All The Lies ends in a cliffhanger that totally shocks the life out of me and left me wanting the next book RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW! 🙁
In fact, I am left with a zillion questions rummaging through my brains now and conjuring a dozen theories on the why, who, what, where, when, how!!! This book was exceptional. It left me speechless and the wheels turning in my head. I was completely captivated from page one as I was immersed into this dark and twisted world that had me second guessing myself throughout. I can’t wait to see how this Duet ends. Another 5 star must read by this talented author.
My first thoughts after reading All the Lies, this 1st book in Rina Kent’s Lies and Truths Duet is this- She is the queen of darkness for good reason and I am totally in deep on this one!
The suspenseful beginning chapter drops you directly into a veiled glimpse of what seems like a frightening scene out of a scary movie. What really happened on that dark night in the cottage by the woods? I know what I read but….
Reina, or so she’s told, wakes up with machines beeping, bruised, broken and in the kind of pain that defies what your mind can imagine. Who brutalized her so badly to land her unconcious and in the hospital? She doesn’t remember anything and her past is one big blank. The beautiful man by her side, looking at her with such hate in his eyes..is her fiance??? How can this possibly be her life?
As Reina returns with careful steps back into the life she has no memories of and sees the havoc she’s wrecked in that world, she wonders- who the hell am I and why does Asher, the man I’m supposed to marry, look like he’d love to see me dead?
Well, that’s the question isn’t it. There are so many that came to mind as I ripped through the pages of this dark, mind bending story. Strange, mysterious and frightening, like a bad dream where nothing makes sense, like falling down the rabbit hole.
Now, I’ve delved into the story, heard some of the lies but I’m sure there’s many more yet to be revealed. Asher is sexy and dangerous, Reina is starting to want more from their relationship, and then that huge bomb of a cliffhanger..oh Rina Kent, I love that dark mind of yours so much!!!
What I want more than anything after reading these bits and pieces of Reina and Ashers story so far is please- give me All the Truths before I lose sleep waiting! The conclusion is going to blow my mind, I just know it. Bring on that next book!
I received an early, complimentary version of this upcoming release and this is my honest review of it.
Talk about an asshole well actually both of them were at times. That cliffy though
I enjoyed this one a lot, it’s the first book in a duet and has such a mysterious vibe that it instantly captured my attention.
Reina Ellis awakens in the hospital with amnesia, attacked under suspicious circumstances she has no memories of her past.
Her apparent fiancé Asher Carson hates her claiming she ruined his life and calls her monster, he takes every opportunity to express his sheer contempt and disgust and revels in Reina’s pain suffering and bewilderment.
As Reina settles back into her old life attending college and throwing herself back into cheerleading she finds the person she once was abhorrent.
A shallow superficial cruel individual that delighted in others pain and humiliation.
She hates her best friend and everyone seems scared of her the ultimate mean girl she is, the police also want to question her about the suspicious circumstances in which she was found.
There’s also someone after Reina wanting to destroy her and I had my suspicions straight off about just who Reina really is and just who was tormenting her.
Asher is also struggling with his attraction to the new Reina and he can’t work it what game she is now playing.
He hates her, but craves her at the same time, but just what exactly is his end game in regards to her.
Secrets and lies abound with this one, it was definitely unusual and very interesting and easily kept my attention.

All The Lies has been on my TBR for quite a while, and I was extremely excited to have a chance to dive into this after meeting the characters in the Throne Duet.
With that being said this is going to be short because I need to read book 2 ASAP.
Rina Kent is a master of pulling you into a story in the first few pages, and that’s exactly what happened when I started the prologue.
I spent hours engulfed in this world of lies, secrets, and miscommunication. Dark, twisty, an alphahole anti-hero, and sassy heroine, suspense, and steam.
Jesus Freaking Christ!
This book and the complete duet is flat out wicked!
The climax and the final revelations are like a goddamn wrecking ball rocking you to your very core; like a freight train – you wouldn’t know what hit you.
The truth, when it comes out, you wouldn’t even have imagined it would be this way in your wildest dreams, that it’s not just Reina, but that she’s got a freaking twin.
Rina Kent so flawlessly and stunningly explains all the mysteries and clues and hints dropped throughout the duet with one simple fact, one simple twist.
It’s like she just pulls one very small thread we deemed insignificant and unravels and straightens out the entire tangled mess that’s our minds and the plot put together.
The plot is mind blowing and the characters, as always are intriguing and sexy as hell.
The story line is amazing, and paves way for other upcoming novels as well.
All in all, you have to read this book and the duet mate.
If you are a fan of mafia romance and enemies to lovers than this book is perfect for you!
Reina wakes up in the hospital and Asher is there claiming to be her fiancé. Asher is cruel and wants to destroy Reina. He does not want give her a happily ever after. Reina is now living the life of her sister. Her sister left a mess behind and she is working hard to fix her sisters mistakes. This is the kind of book you need to pay attention to, not everything is as it seems. Great start to the duet!
This is a 2 part contemporary romance that takes place in college. It’s considered dark, but it’s a ‘light’ dark, IMO. Ash is an anti-hero & there’s a hate element that makes for . Reina suffers from temporary memory loss & wakes up to a fiancé who hates her. The books consist of her recovering her memories and trying to right her wrongs. It was a quick, easy read.
No lie here – loved this book! 4 stars
I was captivated by the first chapter and that continued throughout the whole book. Reina woke up from an incident with amnesia, and this author’s writing was so good that I felt like I was on this journey with her. I felt for her so many times too. The mysteries surrounding Reina had me riveted to the pages reading as fast as I could. Asher was cold and hateful towards Reina, but when he warmed up to her they were fire! I could “feel their chemistry in the air,” and it was dark and delicious! What was not delicious was that cliffhanger, so I will be starting book two of the duet (All the Truths) later today! I definitely recommend this book, because I loved it!
I don’t normally read YA but I loved this book. The characters are so well written. I kept reading just to find out what all their secrets were. There’s a mafia and psychological twists. You’ll have to read it to find out.
ALL THE LIES – RINA KENT
This book was one of those rare ones which gets you hooked from the very first chapter. This doesn’t happen to me a lot. It usually takes quite a few chapters to capture my interest but as soon as i completed the first chapter of this one I couldn’t keep it down.
Now, this is an amnesia story. The Heroine wakes up in the hospital and she has no recollection of anything about her life. She is badly injured and to add to her worries there is a handsome guy by her side claiming to be her fiance. But that guy hates her and Reina has no idea what she has done to deserve that hate.
”You awe me a life, and I will ruin yours as payback.”
“Monster” is what Asher calls her.
This book and many twists and turns along the way. Rina has kept the pace of the book fairly interesting. At no point of time you’ll feel confused in any way.
The chemistry between Asher & Reina is on fire. There is a constant push and pull going on. And Asher is one possessive asshole. But let’s be honest we all want our heroes to be like that.
“Who knew behind such a beautiful face lurked a nightmare?”
There is an undeniable connection, but a lot of hate between them. It’s so interesting to read our main characters navigate through all the hate with the added bonus of sexual tension.
Fair warning, this book ends at a cliffhanger but there is a sequel published.
I received an ARC of this on behalf of Rina Kent and Wildfire Marketing. So thanks to them for allowing me to give my honest and unbiased review.
I just finished this and I just…stunned. It’s what I am.
It’s a thing now.
This is me officially now in love with Rina Kent and I need all of the words. From her.
Chief of which being All the Truths. That baby I need RIGHT NOW.
This instant.
Guys, you need to go into this a blind as possible. You won’t be getting in depth plot and character descriptions from me here.
What you will get is this;
If you like dark romance
If you like unhinged characters
If you like feisty and sassy heroines
If you like intrigue and duets that hook you in and make you beg for the conclusion
THEN YOU WILL LOVE THIS LIKE I DID.
If you don’t like those things, or you hate cliffhangers, or you hate great writing and ambiguous endings and also ambiguous. Well, lots of things then stay away from this.
Now I count the days until I can read All The Truths.
