I Give this Book a 4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.
Update: Received Audible Book for Review.
Audible: 4.5/5, List as 4.
The Audio is Pretty Good.
Tad Issue: Is that the voice for Reina does feel a bit..older? So (For Me) it was a tiny bit distracting but the longer you listen it’s become easier to ‘visualize’ that it’s her voice.
And the Narrator for G…He has such a drool worthy Voice!!!
Cliffhanger(?): Heck Yes!
Dark(?): 3/5
Psychological(?): 4/5
Mystery(?): Yes!! 4/5
Romance: Ummm…No Rating? Lol
Drama: 5/5
Suspense: 5/5

Absolutely Refusing to Add Spoilers! XD
After reading this book, the sheer brilliance in the writing is why I love Rina Kent so much.
Honestly, when you think you know what’s going to happen, suddenly every evidence goes in another direction. Nothing is ever as it seems.
I love her books cause your continuously on your toes, they’re never predictable.
I cannot wait for book 2, I need answers! 😀
Completely recommend this book & universe!
I have to say, first off, when I started this book, I was unimpressed, the first few chapters left me indifferent but the third and all these after really took me for a ride! I was a bit blown away at how many twists and turns the author manged to accomplish (without them feeling like plot devices or wasted words) and have me whisper to myself about what what happening really made this book a great reading adventure.
The setting was dark and well fleshed out and the characters… oh my I could not begin to describe my feelings about them. There were times I fell head over heals and other times I was screaming at them. I wanted them to make difference choices but then another twist would happen and I was glad for their previous actions. Man, oh, man. I just really loved this story and it ends in a cliffhanger so I am already drooling waiting for more! 4.25 stars. I received an ARC and am leaving an honest review.
My review-
-this read was a wild ride
-the plot kept me on my toes
-Asher was the perfect anti-hero
-the mystery surrounding Reina was intriguing
-I am dying to find out what happens next
Wow, absolutely fantastic, addictive writing that keeps you on the edge of your seat. With a intriguing and emotive storyline that is definitely unique filled with mystery and suspense that will stay with you, captivate you and break your heart.
Can’t wait for the second book.
I don’t even really know what to say but every time I read something by Rina Kent I find myself flipping the pages faster and faster because I need all the DAMN answers.
Her anti-heroes are the best and oh boy yes Asher lives up to Rina’s standard. I need book 2 like right flipping now so I can see if the bajillion theories I have are correct.
Wow! I thought this was a really gripping read and an excellent way to kick-off this duet. Complex and compelling this is a story that quickly pulls you into a murky world filled with intensity and so many questions that you will often find yourself feeling a bit like Wonderland’s Alice. The tension is nail-biting and the chemistry sparks and sizzles as Asher and Reina’s starts to unfold. Mystery, raw emotions, drama, suspense, secrets, twists and building heat make for an intriguing and addictive read that will have you not only craving but needing book two as soon as possible!
Title: All The Lies
Series: Lies & Truths Duet
Author: Rina Kent
Release Date: March 12th, 2020
Rating: 4 stars
How do you know when you have read a good. book? Well, if your mouth hung open for like 5 minutes while staring at the last line.
Let’s start by saying that this book was not at all what I expected it to be. I love romances and I love thrillers and the fact that this one had both… oh my God, I freaking loved it! I was not into it when I read the blurb, but I once I had it in my hands I finished it in one sitting – and by ‘one-sitting’ I mean 5 hours. The plot is so intriguing. I really want you all to walk into this book blindingly so you can really appreciate what Rina Kent has done with this story, which is why I can’t talk much about anything. Therefore, I decided my review will focus on my two favorite things: Reina and Asher.
Reina is everything you could possibly wish for in a main character and so much more. She is strong, compassionate, kind and fearless. Everyone thought they could just throw a bag full of crap at her without consequences, but she. took none of it. This girl is dealing with a lot – like, a lot- and still, she tries her hardest to get her life back with or without help. I have absolutely loved her fierceness, something you (unfortunately) don’t find a lot nowadays. This character is the very best thing about this book.
Now, Asher. Rina Kent is a mastermind in creating psychotic, yet charming characters that make you question your life choices. Besides his being so hot, the real intriguing thing about Archer is that you have no idea if he’s telling the truth or not. I mean, usually in romances (even dark ones) you can tell at the very beginning if the MH is just acting like an asshole because there are feelings he is not ready to deal with. Well, not the case with this fella. Honestly, the second amazing thing about this book is that you (as a reader) are always wary of Asher too, just like Reina. Until the very end, you will have no idea whether he is the hero or the villain. It’s completely different than any other heroes in other books.
I can’t and won’t tell you much more… just read this, beware of the HUGE cliffhanger at the end and enjoy it!
I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book
This left me say WTF? I remember Asher from the little bit of him and Aiden having a little intellect spat at the end of Twisted Kingdom. Now he is back in the states to be by his fiancee’s side after an attack that has her struggling to remember who she is and why her fiance hates her. But as it turns out just because you can’t remember doesn’t mean everybody else forgets. I don’t want to give much away but this story has so many twist and secrets and deceptions that as I said in the beginning it left me say WTF. The story sucks you in right away and I just couldn’t put it down. I’m just glad I won’t have to wait too long to read the rest of Asher and Reina’s story.
I received an ARC and volunteered to leave a review.
One word to sum me up with this book is confused, and I mean that in the very best way.
This is one of my top go to authors and this book proved why.
Every time I thought I had a handle on what was going on another spanner was thrown in the works.
Can’t say much more without ruining anything for others, but definitely a must read.
Cannot wait to get answers in book 2.
What a roller-coaster ride! The ups. The downs. The sharp curves. The intense drops.
Reina and Asher’s characters have been drawn with amazing clarity! I am drawn to each of them!
The “lies” have enticed me! It will be hard to wait even days for the truths.
What a cliff-hanger! What an amazing trip to the cliff! I’m ready to make the jump to see how the story will continue to FLY!
I received an advanced reader copy, and this is my honest and voluntary review.
“Never look back. If you don’t look back, you run faster. If you don’t look back, no one will catch you.”
Only Rina! Only she knocks you off your feet with the first few sentences. Only she sets your mind reeling and shocks you into oblivion! And through the whole story she holds your attention almost brutaly, because – let’s face it – you can’t help yourself. And when you’re feeling almost pleased, because she charmed you right there, she does the outstanding and crushes everything you though you knew!
Without giving away too much, Reina Ellis wakes up with amnesia, after she was brutaly beaten. She has no idea who she is, what her life was like, she even doesn’t remember any of her friends, nor does she remember her fiancé Asher Carson. And he… he hates her!
I think I know something, but I could be so wrong. I need answers, I need more and I need it asap!
*clapping*
Rina Kent’s All The Lies, book one in her Lies and Truths Duet, brings readers to a place where nothing is what it seems to be.
Asher wore the antihero hat well. Just as he reeled you in he snapped and did something so atrocious that you questioned his appeal. Reina struggled in a world where she had no frame of reference and was held accountable for actions she did not remember because of a amnesia. Full of contradictions the attraction of this couple was steamy even as it was at times brutal to watch play out. This author did an admirable job of leaving readers on the fence with this pair based on the past actions of the heroine and the present actions of the hero.
Rina Kent does plot twist like a champ. Nothing was obvious in her story. One thing readers can be assured of is if they think they are going in the right direction with their assumptions they are most likely going to be proven wrong. There was a well-maintained tension throughout this work that kept the pages turning at a rapid pace. Ms. Kent manipulated her work like a spider building a complex web captivating her audience and creating lots of unexpected spins. All the Lies will be guaranteed to keep readers guessing and eager for the conclusion of this edge of your seat duet!
*I was given an advanced copy. All opinions expressed are my own. *
*This work is part of a duet and ends on a cliffhanger.*
*Book two of this duet, All The Truths, releases on March 26, 2020.*
Omfg! I devoured this book in a couple of hours. I was glued to my seat, it was like watching a movie. A very dark, twisted and intense movie. I enjoyed every minute of it.
Something horrible happens and I’m like omg it’s going down at 1%. I was completely hooked. Reina lost her memory and she’s trying to piece it all together. There’s Asher who hates her but there’s this pull between them as well.
Trying to figure out who she was and who she is now is not easy at all. I was turning the pages with excitement trying to put the puzzle together again. The Angst, the secrets, the hate, the not knowing is so crazy but so very addicting and interesting.
I was so wrapped up in this book I looked down and my kindle said 91%, I didn’t realize I was that far… That was depressing because I definitely did not want it to end. It was amazing from the very beginning, imagine how freaking good it was at ninety something perfect! Ugh. I can’t wait for the next book. I dying for it, I’m addicted to it, I need it so bad.
Five Freaking Stars for me.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Reina has no memory beyond waking up in the hospital bed. The man they are saying is her fiancee scares her and she isn’t getting the warm and fuzzies when she looks at him. Her name doesn’t even sound like it belongs to her. After going to the place they say is her home, the only thing Reina is sure of is that the relationship with Asher, her fiancee, is not all hearts and roses. Adding to that, Reina learns that the person she was before her memory loss was someone she really doesn’t recognize. The more she learns the more unsure of her previous self she is. Now she is determined to make up for her wrong doings, even if she can’t remember doing them, but is it already too late? Is the damage already done?
I am loving some Rina Kent! Bossy OTT alpha male, loads of drama, some danger, with a side of spicy moments. I do find this a bit similar to the last series, not completely just a few things. I am ready for the next book… I need my questions answered! I give this 4.5 stars.
What a twisted tale this is!!!
This is the first book in the Lies & Truths duet, so be prepared for one heck of a cliffhanger!!!
Reina wakes up to find herself in a hospital with no memory of how she got there and a fiancé, Asher, who seems to hate her and want to break her. This is quite an intriguing twisted tale and the characters are dark, cruel and completely without mercy. Reina finds herself in the crosshairs of quite a few people, because apparently she was a total b@#ch and a total unfeeling monster to just about everyone. This book drew me in from the beginning and I’m dying to see how Asher and Reina’s story will end. I’m looking forward to book two, All the Truths and the conclusion of this dark twisted tale!!
All the lies had reeled me in. It confused the fuck out of me, but damn, it was perfect!!! At first I didn’t know what was really happening but it just made me want to read it even more!!! I fell in love with Asher but damn is he one major asshole!!! The mystery involved was just on another level. To have the mixture of romance and mystery was the best !!! So many theories are forming in my head and I can’t wait for book 2 now !!!!
This is THE PERFECT read for you if you love romance mixed with a lot of mystery!!!
To everyone on campus she is known as the Reina Ellis the queen, the captain of the cheer team, the woman everyone wants to be, and the fiance of the very sexy Asher Carson.
But none of those things make any sense to her, her mind is completely blank, and she can’t fathom how she could of been the heartless woman everyone on campus knows… but someone is dead set on reminding her!
All The Lies is an edgy, dark, and intense little page-turner that grip you from the very first page and hold you hostage until the last. I cannot wait to see what the second installment holds for dear Reina, if the first is any indication I imagine she has more trouble lying ahead. You couldn’t help but feel for former villain Reina, waking up knowing nothing of her past, and the difficulty she faced trying to find her place in the world again. Everyone thinks she is faking her amnesia, constantly waiting for her to let her true colors show, all the while being horrified by the woman they claim she was before. I am dying to see what the future holds for her and Asher!! There is no way you can read this one without becoming completely absorbed by it, the words are so dang addictive!! Highly recommend!!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from the publisher, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.
WHAT DID I JUST READ?!?!?!?!? I AM COMPLETELY TWISTED UP RIGHT NOW! Every theory I had went right out the window in the last few pages. My mind is blown and I’m over here fiending for All The Truths like it’s nobody’s business.
So, we first meet Asher in the epilogue to the Royal Elite Series, which, seriously, if you haven’t read it yet, you’re missing out, and I was so intrigued by him. He’s no Aiden King (yet) but he certainly has the potential. I am so fascinated by him and the driving force behind his actions and responses. He’s cruel and cocky and 100% alpha. He’s also a mystery in the sense that I can’t figure out his end game when it comes to Reina, but I sure enjoyed trying to. He doesn’t hide his feeling of hatred towards her and that hatred makes the intense attraction between them so much hotter. I love those moments of confusion when Reina does something to knock him off his game, showing that maybe she did change. Or maybe…… she’s not Reina at all. #Theory
Reina wakes up in the hospital with no recollection of her life. No idea what happened to put her in this situation. She’s got a gorgeous but cruel guy by the name of Asher at her bedside claiming to be her fiance and no family left to speak of. She’s running purely on instincts. In an attempt regain some normalcy to her life and maybe remember her past, she returns to school. It is here she learns what a terrible person she was prior to her accident and how many frenemies she has. She quickly realizes redemption isn’t an easy feat when someone is out to kill her. #PlotTwist
You guys, from page one I was obsessed. The mystery and suspense. The secrets and lies. The darkness and intensity. I tried to slow down and savor each page but i Couldn’t. Stop. Reading. Each chapter left me with more questions than answers, and lord do I have a lot of questions still. The chemistry between Reina and Asher is intense and i’m hoping that is explored more in book 2. I have so many theories and I need All The Truths like, yesterday!

Rina Kent has done it again! This new story will have you guessing and reading constantly to find the truth. I loved how from the first page, you’re thrown into the story and just can’t look away. Reina is a character that allow she loses her memories, gives you hope and has you hoping that she’ll gather strength to be a better person (compared to what we find out about the past). Asher is one of those bullies that you love to hate and hate to love. He’s like a walking contradiction that is oh so juicy. I have so many questions about the plot and characters, that I hope book 2 will help answer them all. I absolutely adored the feelings this book invoked. The darkness of the story has you trying to read between the lines and to solve all the questions. It was raw, intriguing and so beautifully written. I need book 2 so badly after reading this… I need answers! I literally read this book in one sitting, knowing after reading a few pages that there was no way to put this down. Rina Kent has the dark romance genre down pat! Fantastic read and for any fan of dark romances, this is the book series and author for you!
OMG! This story was awesome! I cannot wait for the conclusion! Reina and Asher are fire and oil. The sparks turn to flames very quickly. Very Steamy and oh so fantastic!
The suspense of who is threatening Reina keeps you on the edge of your seat. Whoever it is, it’s big trouble. Will Asher and Reina have a future?
I’m loving the bad guy image that is Asher!
