HOLY CRAP, I THINK I GOT MY READING MOJO BACK…
Ive been in a big book funk lately not wanting to read anything at all no matter the author or the book i just didnt want to read. Today i said enough is enough i need to read so i finally picked this up so glad i did. Wow is all i can say Rina has done it again. This books drags you in right from the start.
Right from the start there is mystery and suspense and it just keeps going by the end of the book you have so many unanswered questions and so many theories running through your head its not funny.
Asher is the angry and brooding and hottttttt and very cruel and a big mystery .
Reina is a mystery as she doesnt know who she is and is discovering things she doesnt like about herself, but is it as simple as her not remembering or is it something else. I loved Reina shes was fiesty and stubborn but at the same time thoughtful and kind and always wanted to right her past wrongs. Together Asher and Reina are fire , first they hate each other then they don’t then they do. The chemistry between them is off the chain hot and when they are hot for each other lets just say the pages sizzle. I cannot wait to read the conclusion i need answers and i need it now.
Rina is fast becoming one of my favourite authors, i love everyone of her books.
From the very opening scenes of this book I was immediately sucked in and just knew it was going to be an epic read that is going to take me on an emotional ride, the author did not disappoint at all. My review will probably be extremely vague because you don’t want me to spoil anything, you will want to be surprised and enjoy this crazy ride as much as I did, that being said holy wow, I was truly blown away with how good it was and now Asher Carson has replaced Aiden King as my favorite man. This author has a true talent in writing these devilish characters who at first, we can’t stand but their personalities and mysterious behavior throw us for a loop and next thing you know we are falling in love with the devil themselves, especially Asher. This story follows Reina who was found beat up and suffering from amnesia and nothing from her previous life she is told about seems right or doesn’t fit her anymore. The one person that terrifies her is the one she also finds solace in even if he hates her and treats her like she is the monster. Asher has his reasons for hating Reina we just don’t know what they are, and she is strangely drawn to him, but also so terrified of him. There are so many questions we don’t know the answers to, so many people who hate Reina and could be the one after her, so many mysteries that we have no clue about, and the end is a cliffhanger, but it leaves us wanting so much more and to find out what is truly going on. An epic read and I’m dying for book two.
All the Lies is a story full of twists and turns that had me on the edge of my seat. I thought as I continued reading this book I’d get some answers, but as each chapter passed I had more and more questions.
The worlds that Rina builds are dark, dangerous and beautifully constructed making me fall in love with each character she writes. I’m dying to know how Asher and Reina story ends and to get all my questions answered.
Rating:
Amazing from start to finish!
This was like no other amnesia romance book I have ever read. It was that and so much more. There were so many secret, mysteries and lies. The reader was clued into one thing from the beginning that the girl with amnesia (Reina, or Rei for short), didn’t know, but even that didn’t offer much in the way of help in figuring things out.
This was such a complicated amalgamation of things going on that it was thrilling and brilliant and I was left wondering who was good and who was bad. Was the Hero good or Bad? Was the Heroine good or bad? Was there one or more other people out to murder the heroine? And were they really after her or someone else? I ate up every word of this book and loved every minute.
Reina is engaged to Asher who from the first time she “meets” him when she is in the hospital after being beaten and losing her memory, is calling her a Monster and telling her he owns her and is going to make her pay. Though Reina doesn’t know for what. As the story goes on, Reina learns she, in fact was a monster and about the most horrible person she can imagine.
Reina also finds herself attracted to her fiancé and she is in danger. She has changed since she lost her memory and doesn’t want to be the awful person she used to be. She also doesn’t want Asher to see her as the monster he thinks her to be.
The romance between Asher and Reina is quite steamy. I give this a heat index of five out of five flames! Asher definitely doesn’t want to give up the hate he feels for Reina but he can’t keep his hands off her. There are some big secrets between them but Reina doesn’t remember and Asher isn’t talking.
The book ends in a huge cliffhanger and I can’t wait for the next book. Luckily Rina Kent is quick to release new books. It is almost unbelievable how terrific her books are for how quickly she turns them out! The plots are so complex, characters are well developed and world building is awesome. I have loved every single one I have read.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
What did I just finish reading?!?!?! Rina deserves all the damn stars!! EVERY SINGLR ONE!! WOW! Girl this is my 1st book by you and obviously is not my last. I need the 2nd part to this duet ASAP. Oh and I do believe my TBR just had a boatload books added to it.
Ok on with my review……. Now this is a darker read which I love, it has the whole bullying aspect to it, lets not forget the dark and broody alpha male, one hell of a mystery that needs to be solved, and a cast of characters that may or may not be huge a$$holes!
This book will leave you guessing. I’m pretty sure I have Reina figured out, but the rest of it I’m still up in the air. I dug into this book and completely ignored the other people who dwell in this place I call home. I couldn’t put it down. I got hooked by Asher’s dark and broody ways. Is he the bad guy? IS he the good guy? Is Reina really going through what she is or is she playing a huge game? These are questions that I need answered like right now. I can not stress just how twisted and demented these people are. I think the best part of this book is you just do not know who to trust.
I want to start off first by saying… WOW! This was one hell of a roller coaster I went through in just one sitting. We meet Asher at the end of Twisted Kingdom and ever since then, he’s piqued my interest and I’ve wanted to know his story. Now that I’ve got to read it… I’m just sitting here with so many questions. Questions left unanswered which I’m dying to know! I can’t wait for the next book!
**I was provided an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
This book! Oh my gosh! I don’t even know where to start for a review – I’m still trying to process!
Rina Kent absolutely killed it with All The Lies (Book 1 in the Lies & Truths Duet). I’d say I devoured this book but I feel like the book devoured me! Holy book hangover! And I absolutely NEED more!! Bring on book 2!!
*This book deals with some dark subject matter so please take that into consideration before reading.
Rina Kent never fails to amaze me.
I slept on this book for a few days after I got it because I was scared my expectations would be too high and that this book couldn’t compare to Deviant King. I was wrong. Although, Asher and Aiden can’t be compared since they are two completely different people, I did see some resemblance between the two.
Asher was cruel, powerful, scary, yet he had a softer side that we only got to see tiny glimpses of. Reina, the popular girl that lost her memory, seemed a little weak at the beginning but she grew into a character I loved. I loved both Asher and Reina.
The world of this book is realistic and it’s so easy to fall into the story. Rina never ceases to create 3D characters and an enticing plot.
The cliffhanger really hit me and twisted my stomach up. I can’t wait for All The Truths.
This is the 1st part of this duet, and my word I need #2 now!! Reina wakes up in hospital with no memory, and with a fiancée called Asher, but not is all as it seems. No spoilers: this is a definite must read, you will not be disappointed. This is a well written thrilling story, which is filled with angst, drama, mystery, danger, and twists which all lead to a memorizing and riveting tale, which had me totally captivated throughout his addictive page turner. This talented author has outdone herself with this story, and I highly recommend for all.
Rina Kent is one of my favorite authors this year, the story of Asher and Reina was full of angst, drama, twist you didn’t see coming and it’s just amazing, I am addicted to the dark romance she writes. This book has everything, I can’t wait for the next one I am dying here to find out more. This book dragged me and had me on edge all the time. Asher is the perfect character for me, curel, cold and just dark, with all the mystery you need. Give me the next please!
What did I just read?!? Seriously, I’m finding it really hard to use my words at the moment because All The Lies was just WOW! Rina Kent has quickly become one of my absolute favorite authors to read; She is also the reason my kindle gets frequently launched across the room . THAT ENDING YA’LL… I’m DEAD! So many twists & turns, secrets & lies.. SO MANY QUESTIONS! Who’s good? Who’s Bad? Who’s after who? Seriously, after finishing this absolutely brilliant book; I’ve got more questions than answers and a book hangover that I’ll be nursing until part two. SO GOOD!

I first found Rina Kent with her Royals Elite collection (if you haven’t read it you must) and fell in love with her writing style. She does a great job keeping the reader on the edge of just having enough information to speculate, but having no idea what is about to happen just a few chapters later.
All The Lies takes off out of the gate with a scene that grips the reader right in the feels. It doesn’t let go even with the cliffhanger at the end. We know this is doing to be a duet so the cliffhanger is all ready a given.
We meet Reina and Asher. This books focuses on Reina not remembering who she was, and the people who don’t believe her. Asher and Reina’s chemistry is explosive, and undeniable no matter how much he wants to think otherwise. There is a push and pull to them that tells me there is so much more to their love story then we will find out in book one. I can’t wait until book two is available to find out more of their story, and what Reina’s backstory really is.
***4,5 “Monster Or Not?” stars***
“I won’t lose you after finally finding you.”
“You won’t. We’ll always find our way back to each other. After all, we’re…”
“One.”
Wow!!! Just wow!!!
This is my first book by Rina Kent and it literally blew my mind!!!
Honestly, i don’t know how to review this story, cause I’m still speechless…
The suspense in here is killing me and i’m dying to get my hands on the second book and to finally have my answers…
I’m suspicious of everyone in here, of every single one character in the book and it’s killing me not knowing…
“Who the fuck are you?”
Well, Reina had lost her memories in a suspicious way which of course, she doesn’t remember…
By her side is her fiancée, a man that he is hating her and he is determined to make her pay, for what she doesn’t know…
And then, she is starting to learn more about herself and she doesn’t really like the old, popular, evil Reina.
“Reina Ellis.
Captain of the cheerleading squad.
Doesn’t go out without makeup.
Heir to Daddy’s fortune.
And engaged to a jerk who couldn’t care less about me.”
“I was fake. Vain. Selfish.
A shell.
The worst type of person to ever exist.”
At the same time, strange vengeful things are happening to her that are starting to scare her…
Asher is always there to help her…. and she is starting to feel affection toward her tormenter…
But her old self are hiding too many ugly things, things that are chasing her new, kind shelf…
What will happen after all???
Who is after her??? Maybe Asher??? Or someone else??? And for what reason???
And who was the girl on the fire??? Who is Rai after all???
“It’s stupid, isn’t it? I’m not supposed to feel a connection with an asshole who’s out to ruin my life.”
“Reina’s life is now mine to own.
Mine to torture.
And mine to finish.”
I loved the new Reina very much….
She was kind and she was trying so desperately to right her mistakes…
But i hated old Reina… She was evil and i totally don’t understand her behavior toward the others… Honestly, i need more infos in here…
As for Asher??? I know that he was treatinng Reina with cruelty and malice, but still i loved the guy…
I think he has his reasons and honestly, even though i’m suspecting him, i don’t truly believe that he is behind all these nasty things. But maybe I’m wrong, right???
I believe that he has a good heart, and the old Reina had stomped upon it…
But the new Reina is making him feels things that he shouldn’t feel…
“How can a look hold so many promises and threats and… something else I can’t identify?…
This is what it feels like to be caught in someone’s orbit.
It’s dangerous. It’s wrong. It’s … thrilling.”
“You think anyone can save you from me? You’re mine to screw and destroy, my ugly monster.”
Well, as you can see, i have many questions and even more, but also I’m having some theories, which i won’t say at the moment…
I’m just dying to take the second part on my hands and devour it…
I’m dying to find more about our heroine and Asher….
“He broke me in a whole different way than he initially planned. He was after my spirit, he got my heart.”
“You’re playing with fire, Reina,” he says lowly, almost apologetically.
“Then I’ll just burn.”

4.5 stars
The first time I saw the cover I knew I wanted to read it and the synopsis gives very little away, just enough to intrigue the reader. All The Lies is a story full of twists and turns, it’s fast paced and keeps the reader guessing. The story starts with a prologue that gets the heart pumping and leaves all sorts of questions unanswered. Reina has lost her memory but when she is reunited with her fiancee Asher the mystery only deepens. Lets just say they are not exactly loves young dream and then we learn more about Reina as a person who it turns out isn’t miss sweetness and light. I have a theory about one of the main mysteries of the story but I will have to wait for the next book to see if I’m right.
Yes, Yes, Yes!! Twisted, Astonishing, Unputdownable! This book will take everything you think you know about bully romance and knock you on your fanny! Nothing about this book was predictable. NOTHING! From the start I was on the edge of my seat. This book was slap full of insane, intriguing and the most mind-bendingly mysterious moments. Forget adulting or anything else from the moment you start because I assure you… You.Won’t.Stop.Until.It’s.Done!! Then you will continue to check and scream out in frustration to see if more pages will magically appear!!
Reina is unexpected, she is a contradiction to everything you expect and you can’t help but to feel every emotion she is as she is going through it. The frustration she’s enduring as she discovered who she was through the eyes of others. Wow! Just Wow! That’s all I can and will give you. It leaves you feeling as perplexed as she is, you love and hate her as much as she does herself! I happen to love complex characters like herself and love the brilliance Rina displays when writing them! Ah-May-Zing!
Asher is the hot, popular, angry playboy. But something had to contribute to that deep rooted anger right? The way he acts towards his fiancé is confusing and frustrating, but it’s also hot, and sometimes scary. I love the mystery surrounding what’s driving him. He is baffled at times by Reina’s behavior but doesn’t trust her for anything. I’m so excited to see what’s coming in book two. Like I’m dying for this conclusion y’all!
*I voluntarily reviewed an advanced complimentary copy of this book!
My Cr8zysockbookblock blog wrap up for this book!
– Rina Kent is the dark and mysterious queen. She never fails to deliver something that will leave us gasping for more. I was captivated and spent from a myriad of emotions this book ran me through, and I loved every heart dropping moment! I don’t know how I will make it until the next book. I need the conclusion, it’s like an obsession at this point. Lol
-There is nothing extremely off the chain hotter than some Hate Sex!! am I right?!?! Yup, so HOTT!Cliffhanger Warning- TOTAL Cliffhanger! This is a duet and you WILL NOT reach resolution in this book!!
All The Lies is the first book in this duet, and it was amazing!! It was suspenseful and endearing. I was completely shocked at how things were going! And I can not wait for the next part of this duet!
This book sucks you in from the very beginning not letting go. I can not wait to read the second book. This does end on a cliffhanger. I have some thoughts on what is going on but knowing Rina Kent and her beautiful mind things aren’t what they appear to be. I voluntarily read an arc of this book.
“You think anyone can save you from me? You’re mine to screw and destroy , my ugly monster . It’s time to get used to that .”
This book is a twisted suspenseful steamy masterpiece and I am left speechless after that ending! I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to try and figure out just what the hell was going on !
Reina has just woke up from a head injury not remembering ANYTHING from her life as a matter of fact she feels like she is someone else entirely when she is told stuff about her life before and she just can’t remember.
Asher is a dark brooding sexy fiancé that she definitely does not remember being engaged too and she has wronged him somehow and she just can’t remember what it is that she has done to gain so much hate from him.
The chemistry between Asher and Reina is sooo hot and toxic these two when there in a room together just ignite , there is so much emotion, hate lust and confusion between these two and the sex scenes are very hot !
The ending is left on a helluva cliffhanger and you are probably going to scream and throw your kindle like I did but hey that’s what Mrs Rina Kent is so good at these plot twists and suspense she is truly an evil genius when it comes to writing these kinds of stories! This book will definitely get my 5 stars and I definitely can’t wait for book 2 All The Truths to get here so I can find out just who is doing what and who is who in this unpredictable dark twisted suspenseful enemies to lovers romance like no other that I’ve read before!

All the Lies is a remarkable book that captures the reader right from the first page and will leave you breathless at the end. The book is original with its unique plot and characters and is full of mystery, suspense and intrigue. My advice is to go into this blind as you will not be disappointed with how the author creatively weaves this engaging story.
I adored Reina in that she is resilient, likable, and a survivor. From the blurb, you know that she wakes up from an incident with amnesia. From there, this strong heroine is on a journey of self discovery as she tries to piece together who she is and what has happened to rip the memories from her mind.
Asher is handsome and alluring, but he is also cold and cruel towards Reina. While I love Asher for all of his darkness and arrogance, he was less developed as a character when compared to Reina and I believe that is because this book was told predominantly from Reina’s POV. That being said, I think the author was brilliant in telling this story from Reina’s POV only as it fosters the spellbinding suspense and mystery. Based on the blurb, it appears that All the Truths will be from Asher’s which I am really looking forward to. I cannot wait to get into that head of his!
There is a lot of push and pull between Asher and Reina which was entertaining to read, but I also feel that there wasn’t much evolution of their relationship until the last quarter of the book. Still, I think it was fitting given the dynamics of the story and you can feel the radiating sexual tension between these two. As this book slowly reveals pieces of their past I am left with more questions than answers – which I love as a good mystery is always entertaining!
The characters in All the Lies are 21 years-old and are college students. However, the interrelationships between the characters and even the described setting at the college seem more high school related. Nonetheless, that did not detract away from my love of this compelling book. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed this gripping read in that it had a striking storyline, excellent plot progression, and fascinating characters. Note that All the Lies is book 1 of a duet so there is a cliffhanger. Thankfully, the author will put us all out of our misery soon by releasing the next installment in just 2 weeks. If you love edge of your seat, dark NA romances with doses of mystery and suspense, then you will enjoy All the Lies! 4.5 / 5 stars.
She’s awake, but it’s all so strange. She doesn’t know who she is, or even how old she is.
He doesn’t believe the words that are coming out of her mouth. She’s cunning and devious, so of course it’s all an act.
But what if.. what if it’s not an act and she truly is a stranger to this life of hers..
I’ve been eagerly awaiting this for what feels like a long time! but I can honestly say it was more than worth the wait!
Rina and her dark mind are music to my ears!
My first thought when I read the blurb was that I was going to love this, and I truly did.
The whole idea of not knowing who you are appeals to me greatly, and it’s written in such a way that you can’t help but feel for her.
I didnt want to like her for all that she had done, but how can you cast judgement on someone who has no recollection of said events.
His treatment of her, therefor was extreme, but the hot and cold, callous and tender moments all had me hooked, and each interaction left me wanting more!
Now I’m left needing answers, I have half the pieces to the puzzle please give me the rest so I can see the full picture!!
