One dark secret is killing the children. Another is tearing apart the man who is determined to help them. When the gruesome death of a popular teenage girl is caught on a video that goes viral, authorities discover a cryptic link between suicides that have been plaguing local high school students. Erik Daly is a newspaper reporter with a haunted past who is determined to get to the bottom of the … the bottom of the suicide cluster — before the body count rises.
In his journey through the dark underbelly of the former coal towns of Northeastern Pennsylvania, Daly is forced to confront his personal demons as he comes face-to-face with a menacing evil. As Daly learns the disturbing truth, he makes it his mission to expose an insidious threat to his small-town community. If only he can save the dying children, he just might be able to find redemption for himself.
No cliffhangers. No sequel. Just a thrilling, suspenseful, fast-paced murder mystery that will keep you on the edge of your seat. This gripping page turner is perfect for fans of Michael Connelly and James Patterson.

I suppose this could really happen. We must be ever diligent in protecting our children. Story well written. Journalist Eric Daly an interesting character.
Recommend to fans of crime mysteries.
Interesting storyline and I liked the central character Daley, a journalist. Well-written with lots of intrigue and suspense. I don’t think the final section of the book added anything to the story. It felt like an optional add-on.
Enjoyable.
All the Dying Children is a riveting story about a rash of teen suicides. At first glance they are seemingly unconnected, but when reporter Erik Daly covers the very public suicide (online) of a popular cheerleader he begins to discover links between the deaths. He doggedly follows the leads despite death threats and attacks in an attempt to put an end to the crime spree masquarading as suicides.
In the midst of all this, Daly is battling his own inner demons surrounding the death of his wife, Jessica, and a growing drinking problem caused by recurring nightmares. His saving grace is his daughter, Lauren, who is also threatened when Daly gets too close to the truth.
This book is a well-paced, well-plotted page turner. The characters are believable and interesting. The lives and jobs of journalists, police, and lawyers all ring true. An engrossing story woven by Halpin.
I liked the premise of this book, but couldn’t overlook the PROFANITY, which is so unnecessary.
BRAVO ! What a well written book. Both the journalism and police/prosecution details are on point. The characters are excellent and it’s hard to put down to the very end! Excellent
I like the book overall. I didn’t give it 5 stars because it wasn’t a page turner for me and a little confusing. It was a realistic story and sad that it could really occur. The book was confusing sometimes going back and forth and so much going on, but I enjoyed it. It was a little so in some places. It was about a media person investigation suicides, who brought it to the attention of the public;sometimes good sometimes bad. Interesting story!
Strange, sad, expresses the power people can have over young teens.
Page turner that kept you in suspense as to who the “ bad guys” were!
Enjoyed the setting and the characters.
This book kept my interest throughout and l could hardly put it down. It seemed very real and terrifying since it is something that could really be occurring in this day and age. I really enjoyed it.
I found this book an alert founder to make parents more informed as to what children could be manipulated into doing. They are so gullible to false teachings and parents need to be aware! I am glad to have read the book.
Great characters and well plotted.
Once you get into the book it picks up. I almost put it down but the action does pick up. The story line is good, I enjoyed reading it, although it deals with teen suicide and can be disheartening in that respect. I give it four stars.
Could not put it down
It really kept your interest, you had to pay attention because it kept going back and forth. I read it in one setting!
This is one of my favorite books I’ve read the story of how much a newspaper reporter kept pushing not just to get a story but to get justice for the kids that killed themselves justice won out but when I thought the story was over it continued and was another story which made everything you did not understand about Daly’s own behavior clear to n the end everything had a good ending. Again 5 stars And I will follow this author
