When your annoying younger brother gets underhanded to try and get you a HEA
All That Jazz is the first book in a new series, Zaftig Dating Agency, by Jane Fox and she has started it off with a bang. This is the story of Declan and Kelly. Declan is a forty-one year old bachelor, has an architect degree and owns a contracting company which specializes in restorations. Kelly is a twenty-three years old para-legal who sings at the weekly amateur night of a jazz club. It seems Declan’s younger brother Kenyon has signed up Declan up to the Zaftig Dating Agency, without him knowing about it, and they have matched Declan and Kelly. So Kenyon drags Declan out for a rare night out at the jazz club and when Declan first sees and then hears Kelly he is smitten beyond belief. When she is finished with her time slot he strikes up a conversation with her. The next week Kenyon gets Declan out to the club again, with much less of an effort this time, and then Kenyon plays a more active role in matchmaker. This is a fun and engaging story which had me laughing and rooting for Declan and Kelly to find a HEA.

Until next time… Happy Reading!
1:Hate IT! Didn’t finish; usually only given if/when some contents truly objectionable (i.e. main characters does something awful & gets away w/it!)
2:Don’t like IT! Rating means I felt the writing was poor, editing was bad, I don’t care for characters, or book had some major flaw.
3: I like IT, BUT! There are minor issues… Rating means there’s editing issues, needs character development, is too unrealistic, or has issues– I do not consider it an overall bad rating.
4:I like IT a lot. Great, Solid Story w/ few if any inconsistencies or errors. This is a HIGH Rating, & I rarely give OUT a Higher Rating.
5: I LOVE IT! It’s Spectacular, & I’ll read IT Over & Over Again. Few books Receive this rating from me. HowEver, those that DO become Classics.
I loved this first installment of this series. The characters were wonderful. I love that they are both a little retro in their own ways. Can’t wait to read more of this series.
Declan keeps plenty busy running his own contracting company, but when he spies Kelly onstage, he knows that he needs to make her his. This is the first time I decided to take a chance on this author. So glad that I did. This was quick, sexy, steamy, and sweet. Love the concept of the Zaftig Dating Agency. Well written. Can’t wait to read the next one.
Short but sweet instalove matchmaker romance between an older man and a younger woman. I really enjoyed this book. I was a little leery because of the matchmaker element, but it was very light. Loved how Declan and Kelly met. This was a short but sweet story and it had me smiling, pretty much the whole time I was reading it. Definitely recommend giving this one a try!
