Wow! I absolutely loved Harper and Aidan’s story. I was hooked from the first few pages. Flawlessly written and heartfelt. I loved the Captain! This was such heartwarming story. I was sad when i finished. Great summer read.
I have loved this series from the first book. This is Harper’s book and I think she found her perfect match in Aiden. It takes them awhile to give a go but they find it in the end. This book has a lot of information about horses and racing. Which is not my normal type of reading but with Jennifer’s type of writing that part of the story isn’t a hindrance to the story. I do fall more in love with Phoenix in this story and wait until you meet Captain Hoof. This book has all the feels you are looking for. You will fall in love all over again with the inn and animals. You will root on Phoenix. You will also root for Harper and Aiden to get it right. It is wonderful to see all the siblings get this happily ever after.
*I received a free copy of this book via NetGalley and am voluntarily leaving a review.*
All Roads Lead to You is the perfect example of why I read romance! We have Harper Bishop living a good life as the horse rescue coordinator on the farm of her family’s B&B. She lives a very good if not a tad lonely life. She loves her family, animals and the land fiercely. One day a new guest arrives at the B&B. Aidan O’Connor is on a journey. He is searching for the next great racehorse to help bring him purpose as a trainer. The road leads him to Harper and her rescue Phoenix. These two are such great characters. They have both been wounded by what life has handed them along the way but their spirit hasn’t been broken. And the supporting characters…fantastic! Harper’s family, townsfolk, the farm animals will all make you smile. Even though this is the 3rd book in the series it stands completely alone but I do recommend reading those books so that you can read about Harper’s siblings stories. All Roads Lead to You is told from dual POV and is a great mixture of humor, angst, love and hope. I recommend it fully!
OMG this book will rip your heart out and put it all back together again in the best possible way. With lovable and relatable characters (human and fur-baby) and a plot that twists and turns I had a hard time putting this story down. Sleep became irrelevant. Harper and Aidan are insanely adorable together and are a beautiful story of overcoming challenges. Then there is the baby goat. Hands down the Captain is my favorite animal character!
In a world that can sometimes be so challenging Jennifer Probst gives us stories of perseverance, hope, happiness and humanity.
This is the first book I have read from Jennifer Probst and it certainly won’t be my last. After meeting Jennifer and her lovely husband at some signings in this last year I was looking forward to reading one of her books.
This is the last instalment in the Stay Series and Harper’s story. It can be read as a standalone but like me, once you have read this one you will want to go back and read the other two books.
I loved Harper and Aiden. The chemistry between them was electric and I simply loved the slow burn between them. They took their time being together after denying their chemistry at first, they knew once they had one taste it would it could possible break them as one touch would never be enough. They both have so much fear which is getting in the way.
Once I started this book I was hooked. Jennifer made me laugh with the wit in this book. The animals honestly had me in fits, especially Hei Hei and the Captain. Aiden made me swoon lots.
I finished this book with a huge smile on my face. It was a nice sweet romance.
Harper’s story was beautifully written, and the rescue animals are the absolute best! The goat, Captain Hoof, is so adorable and I love every time Hei Hei makes an appearance. The scenes with Aidan and the chicken costume were hilarious! This is one of my favorite series by Jennifer Probst.
Author Jennifer Probst Fan Page adds another touching and sexy romance to her Stay series. With a small town backdrop, All Roads Lead To You is tale about rescue farm owner Harper Bishop and sexy horse trainer Aidan O’Conner.
Harper Bishop’s passion is her rescue farm, but her dream is to help her rescued thoroughbred win the Triple Crown although she has no idea how to go about it. But the new guest at her sister’s B&B has more than a panty melting brogue and smile, he’s got the knowhow.
Aidan O’Connor left Ireland to start fresh after his best friend’s duplicity. He can’t help but hope when he sees the horse’s fiery spirit. Offering his expertise comes with a complications though. He’s not only attracted to the sexy and alluring Harper but has unexpected feelings for her. Can he stick to the professional boundaries Harper established or will they risk their hearts knowing their time together has an expiration date?
Having two goofy and loveable rescue dogs myself, I first fell in love with this book’s starting quote that bears repeating.
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.” – Mahatma Gandhi.
Then I fell in love with animal lovers Aidan and Harper whose romance was deliciously sexy (Aidan’s brogue might have contributed greatly to that). The horse training aspect gave the story an interesting and original layer, and getting to see what the characters from past books in the series was an added bonus.
Jennifer Probst expertly blends humor, sexiness and emotion keeping the reader delightfully addicted. She entwines these elements evoking a hope that fate will align and bring love and happiness between two characters that seem to be at once perfect yet ill fitted for one another. I enjoyed this story, its plot, backdrop, characters and romance giving me the warm fuzzies.
All Roads Lead To You is book #3 of the Stay series by Jennifer Probst. It is a standalone contemporary romance told from both points of view with a happy ending.
Harper Bishop has never been big on premonitions but she feels something big is coming. She runs a horse rescue farm in Gardiner with her brother Ethan and sister Ophelia. She rarely turns down an animal but lately is extra busy with one of her staff injured and Ophelia running the bed & breakfast at the farm. She knows one of her latest horses, Phoenix, has the potential to be an amazing race horse but neither she nor Ethan has the time to properly put into training him.
Aidan O’Connor is from Ireland where he had great success training a horse named Kincaid Crown until a betrayal left him heading for the US looking for the perfect horse to train. He is frustrated at his lack of progress until he stays at Ophelia’s bed & breakfast and when he helps out at the barn he sees Phoenix and recognizes the potential in him.
Harper and Aidan are both very attracted to each other but Harper is not willing to cross the line once her and Ethan agree to take Aidan on to work with Phoenix. Can Aidan turn Phoenix into a winning horse and will Aidan’s past catch up with him before he has a chance to tell Harper?
This was a really interesting book about finding love, pushing the boundaries and finding success above all the odds.
I loved Harper and everything that she did for the farm. It broke my heart to see what she went through in high school and I loved that she found her safe place at the farm and in the barn. I could understand why she was apprehensive with hiring Aidan as she worked so hard to get the farm the way she wanted it and didn’t want someone else destroying what they had worked so hard for.
Aidan was super interesting in that he had a past that he was definitely on the run from but we were never privy until the end on what all happened to make him leave. He really needed to make something of himself and get his name out there so I was worried about how much he was willing to do or sacrifice to get publicity. I knew he had feelings for Harper but I crossed my fingers that it would be enough to keep everything in check.
The farm was so awesome and being a Disney lover it made me so happy to learn all of the names of the animals. Hei Hei was just so funny, especially when comparing him to his counterpart in the movie. Captain Hoof was also just a great animal and the “suit” just made me laugh so many times and I loved the bond he had with Phoenix.
I really liked the jockey Elmo and how they all worked together to get Phoenix trained and figure out all of the weaknesses. I was super happy with how things progressed. I don’t know much about horse racing so I have no idea how realistic everything was but I was still happy for everything.
It was interesting when Colin Flynn approached Aidan and then Harper and I was glad that Harper was able to figure out the real truth before it was too late.
The end was good with Harper making the decision for Aidan which had to happen but then it ended perfectly! By Rebecca
Aidan and Harper are one of the most adorable and endearing couples that I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. All Roads Lead To You is a heart fulfilling, emotional and slow burn romance that I just couldn’t get enough of. It has the perfect blend of comic relief, witty banter and romance. This book can definitely be read as a stand-alone and while I loved The Start Of Something Good and A Brand New Ending (Book One and Two in this series), All Roads Lead To You is definitely my favorite.
Everything about Aidan and Harper was absolutely wonderful. I found it to be very sweet that both were huge animal lovers and cared for them deeply (Harper rescues abused animals and Aidan is a horse trainer) which was a great addition to the storyline. Both of them struggled due to past events in their lives and they needed each other more than they knew in order to move forward. They tried so hard to fight their feelings for each other but it was undeniable that they should be together. All Roads Lead To You is an enjoyable read that I highly recommend reading along with the other two books in the series.
“You’re my heart. And every … road I ever took had one purpose. It led me to you.”
THIS is the story I’ve been waiting for! Kindred souls call to one another and there’s no pair more perfect for each other than Harper and Aidan, even when they stubbornly refuse to listen to their hearts. Great slow-burn romance, filled with heart, humor and anticipation. All Roads Lead to You is the perfect read if you like your romance filled with adorable, hilarious and stubborn animal side-kicks. The most unlikely friendships bloom on the Bishop farm – I mean come on, who isn’t going to fall in love with a baby goat in a chicken costume!? – and I hope that we get to see more from the Stay series in the future.
All Roads Lead to you is the third chapter of Jennifer Probst’s Stay series. It’s easily read as a stand-alone, but so fulfilling as a part of the series.
Harper’s mission is to rescue as many broken and neglected animals as she can fit into her barn or apartment, fulfilling a part of herself that feels much the same but is never shared with family or friends.
Her rescued Thoroughbred, Phoenix, shows great potential for the track if he can only be rehabilitated safely. Trainer Aiden appears at just the right time to help out, but it’s a long road for Harper to give Aiden her trust and for Aiden to give Harper his truth, a test for both of them. Their attraction is undeniable, but they mutually decide to keep the relationship strictly business until it becomes impossible to do so.
With some hilarity from characters already known, and the introduction of some new, Probst balances the struggle and heartache Harper & Aiden experience to discover whether, indeed, All Roads Lead to You.
I did receive an ARC in exchange for my honest review, but to be fair, this was already an auto-buy for me!
I’ve fallen in love with these siblings, and I’m so happy to have read Harper’s story. It takes a special man to crack open her heart, one who loves animals like she does. Aidan came in like a tornado, unexpected, and with plans to eventually blow back outta town. I like how they both had gut feelings, about each other and the animals. I like how they settled into comfort and routine, but with passion. I like how he fit with everyone. I did get frustrated when he was keeping secrets.
Each of these stories is a way different kind of love story, centered around one family, one location. Lots of love to go around. Very enjoyable series.
What a wonderful love story, written by an amazing author! All Roads Lead to You is the 3rd book in the Stay series by author Jennifer Probst. This whole series has been so enjoyable!
“Something was coming”
This love story between Harper, an animal rescuer, and Aiden, a horse trainer, is a slow-burning love story centered on Phoenix, a rescued horse destined to race that has bonded with Harper. The setting of this story is continued from the previous stories in the series at the family-run bed and breakfast. This is a story of broken souls, finding “the one”, overcoming secrets, and healing.
Jennifer Probst writes fantastic characters and storylines! This one can be read as a standalone, but the characters are continued from books 1 & 2 and I personally would recommend reading them in order! I really loved this book, and am looking forward to the next book in the series, Something Just Like This!
5 racing stars!
What a fun and emotional story about the beauty and strength of flawed and wounded souls. Harper and Aidan’s story is another sweet, heartfelt and steamy romance in this series that always makes me laugh, cry, and swoon. Harper has her secret heartbreaks that have made her stronger and determined to rescue those other deem unlovable. She keeps everyone at a distance except her family. When a sexy stranger comes to stay, he dares her to open her heart. Aiden has been betrayed before and he is looking for his redemption. When Harper and her animals offer him a chance, he learns that peace and love can be found in the most unexpected places. There was so much to love about this story. Not only was I totally invested in Harper and Aiden and how they helped each other open their hearts to love and trust, but the secondary characters and quirky animals added so much fun and beauty. I loved catching up with the rest of the family and the banter and unconditional love and support they provided. I am really enjoying this family saga series and can’t get enough of this heartwarming, emotional, and steamy romance!
If life’s a dance, than love is a leap. Somehow, Probst fits them together seamlessly. All Roads Lead to You brings emotions full circle. Three lonely souls come together to create something great. The journey of Harper, Phoenix and Aidan begins with a far off dream. Harper has the ambition, Phoenix has the heart and Aidan has the knowledge to turn the dream into a reality with lasting repercussions both personally and professionally. Probst crafts a spirited tale that grabs you by the heart and sticks itself deeply within your soul.
WOW. All Roads Lead To You started out slow. A lot of internal dialogue from the Harper’s (the heroine) point of view. I didn’t think it was going to work and I thought maybe this one wasn’t going to be a book I’d enjoy. At first, I thought Harper was a little too rough, but soon I was introduced to Aidan and I was charmed by his deep yet easy personality. The cast of characters for this story was amazing. I loved all the rescue animals at the farm. My favorites were Hei Hei and Captain Hoof. The story was reminiscent of Seabiscuit and Secretariat starring the wild and regal Phoenix. If you love stories about animals mixed in with hot romance, this is the story for you. Plus, as an added bonus, Probst uses some props from another one of her stories. This story was well told, and the characters leaped off the page for me. I didn’t want it to end. Now I have to go back and read the stories of Ophelia and Kyle and Ethan and Mia. I can see myself rereading this story many times and for me that show how much this book meant to me. I will not spoil the story by telling you what l happens as I like not to give anything away. Bottom line: Give it a shot, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed! I was given an ARC for an honest review.
Jennifer Probst has another hit! Harper and Aiden are two wounded souls looking for a safe harbor. If you love animals, this story will be delightful. The animals are an integral part of the story in the process of healing the humans. You will enjoy the laughter and delight in their antics. The story is filled with witty remarks and sweet moments that will make you sigh. As the couple journeys to make a racehorse out of Phoenix, they grow closer together. The journey is a marked by tough decisions and beautiful victories.
Harper is single and happy, she is doing what she loves, rescuing and rehabilitating abused animals. Her dream is to train her rescue horse Phoenix to Triple Crown. Aidan thought he had everything in Ireland but lost everything due to betrayal. He comes to US to relax and start over, to find a perfect horse to train. What he didn’t except, was horse and a woman, both are awesome. Harper’s and Aidan relationship progress, but what would happen, when he get an offer he cannot refuse. Would love they share will be enough?
Jennifer Probst is back with Harper and all the gang. This time we see more of Harper and her riot of animal friends. I laughed all the way in the book and jumped with excitement when it came with the races. Have to say Phoenix just made me gallop with his fight to be well feeling free. Harper does so much and Aidan is patient when it comes to these two. We see everybody back even Hei Hei and his well take no prisoners feisty attitude. This was a beautiful series by Jennifer Probst showing how never give up in hope and loved it from the animals to just the magic around this area.
“I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.”
