There’s no place like home, and no love like his…Lilly Vasquez has returned home to Compass Cove after making her way in Hollywood as a hair stylist to the stars. With such a successful career, why she moved back to Long Island to open her own salon is a mystery, and Lilly’s not talking. That is until a movie shoot nearby drops the trouble she thought she left in California right into her … right into her backyard.
FBI Special Agent Jack Miller has floated in and out of Compass Cove for the last fifteen years, rarely staying in town for more than a few days because he’s so wrapped up in his work. But when a complaint about a potentially dangerous situation in town lands in his lap, Jack is gobsmacked to see the name of the woman who has occupied his thoughts for more years than he can remember, Lilly Vasquez.
With the excitement of a big family wedding, Jack has an excuse to stick close, but Lilly doesn’t appreciate the attention, especially since it stirs up a bee’s nest of long-buried feelings. Likewise, Jack is dealing with his own attraction to the fiery brunette, and it’s making him crazy. He needs to stay objective to keep Lilly safe, but his heart isn’t listening to reason. Will the long-time friends succumb to the small town magic and take the biggest risk of their lives? Or will they play it safe, and miss their happily ever after?

All of Me is the third book in Jeannie Moon’s Compass Cove series. I enjoyed watching Lily and Jack reconnect after a lengthy time apart. Both have had experiences that have altered their lives through the years. Jack was in the military and now is a member of the FBI while Lily became a hairdresser and lived amongst the royals of Hollywood.
When they reconnect, we discover that Lily has run away from an abusive relationship that has changed her. When her past comes back to haunt her, Jack steps in and protects her from her evil past.
I loved watching them grow and find themselves. It was a refreshing read that I recommend. I received an advance copy of All of Me and chose to read and review it. This is my honest review.
Return to Compass Cove and all the fun and interesting characters that inhabit the town. After a successful career in Hollywood, Lilly Vasquez returned home and opened her own salon, but she has never told anyone why she returned, so when a movie starts shooting scenes at the local college, she has to come to terms with her past. Jack Miller returns to town for his brother’s wedding and attaches himself to Lilly’s side to “help” with the wedding plans. He has an ulterior motive: Lilly’s complaint has caught the FBI’s attention and Jack knows there is more to the story than is in the reports. Lilly can’t believe that her first love is back, and just won’t leave her be.
Moon weaves a tale of first love turning into adult love with the realities of recovering from physical and emotional abuse. Moon writes with a deft hand to balance humor and the seriousness of abuse. I absolutely love the “Grannies” and their antics. This was a quick, enjoyable read that had me alternating between laughter and a few tears.

Old friends, Lilly Vasquez and Jack Miller, are reunited when Lilly returns to her hometown of Compass Cove and Jack takes on the job of protecting Lilly from her abusive ex.
Eighteen years ago, Lilly confessed her love for Jack, but Jack turned her away. Lilly never got over the rejection. She moved to LA where she became a stylist to the stars and eventually ended up in a relationship with a well-known actor. When the relationship turned abusive and Lilly couldn’t take it anymore, she went back home.
FBI agent, Jack didn’t plan on settling down. With a job that had him traveling all the time, a wife and family didn’t fit that lifestyle. But when he takes on the job of protecting Lilly, everything changes. He has finally fallen in love and will do anything to keep Lilly safe and start a new life with her.
I really liked the previous Compass Cove books, so I couldn’t wait to read this book. Lilly is a character that I could easily relate to. She got taken advantage of and in a situation that got out of control. She found the strength to leave and take her life back. With the help of her friends and family, Lilly was able to feel safe again and start her life over. It was fun seeing her and Jack finally get together. The story flowed easily. The plot was well written and all of the characters fit well within the story.
This is a serious look at the after effects of physical and mental abuse that tempers the life of Lilly Vasquez. She was a well sought after movie stylist who abruptly left that life after an ugly break up with star Gio Graham. She returned to her home in Compass Cove to start over but the trauma lingers on. Unfortunately, her abusive ex is in town filming and Lilly is terrified to see him. Jack Miller, FBI agent is also in town for a family wedding. He and Lilly always connected when they were teens and he is there to watch over her and protect her from Gio. Jack is gentle, non-demanding and falling for Lilly. He begins to crack her defenses and the wall around her.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
Wonderful second chance romance. Lily is back in Compass Cove to escape an abusive ex and to try to heal in the process. When she finds out her ex is back in town and her former high school crush, Jack is assigned to protect her, old feelings awaken for both of them. Lily must come to terms with her past before moving on to a future with Jack. All of Me is sweet and sexy and the characters and plot realistic and empowering.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC from NetGalley.
I discovered and fell in love with this author’s work when I read book one in the series. Each story has been wonderful and this one was no exception.
We are back in Compass Cove, where the legend promises that the Jenning’s compass will stop spinning when it points to your true love.
This story belongs to another Miller sibling, FBI agent Jack Miller and Lilly Vazquez.
No one knows why Lilly returned home and opened a hair salon, when she was doing so well in LA as a hair stylist for the stars. She’s kept a secret that changed her forever and it’s effect might never be overcome.
Jack is back in town for his brother’s wedding and he still has feelings for the young girl he turned away fourteen years ago.
As secrets are revealed and feelings between the two develop, Lilly’s world is once again shaken up. Will she be able to deal with her “enemy” and fears? Will Jack and Lilly miss their chance of love because of words spoken in anger?
At times heartbreaking and at others heartwarming , it’s also a story about domestic abuse and the long term effects it has on the victim. Feelings of worthlessness , terror and shame are hard to overcome, especially when dealing with them alone. But family, friends and that special person that loves and support you, can conquer all.
Another wonderful book in the series. Hoping that future stories revolve around Natalie, Doug and Luca.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Tule Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
