sometimes we all make mistakes This is a wonderful way to help a child understand that’s ok and learn from it. With help from mom/dad a child can understand that they are loved even if they aren’t perfect , knowing that mom/dad aren’t perfect either

Even as an adult I struggle with the fact that I’m not perfect and make mistakes. I want to be able to teach my son that it’s okay to make mistakes its a part of personal growth and we can learn from them. We dont always plan for negative things to happen when we are trying to do something positive it’s just a part of life. I can’t wait until he is old enough for this book and I can use it to teach him this concept. Once again such a wonderful book/teaching tool.

Another amazing book that helps children without them really knowing that they are learning from it. I can easily cuddle up on the couch with my kids and read this to them and they enjoy it as well as learn how to handle themselves better day to day. I highly recommend this book.

Super cute book about when you make mistakes it doesnt make you a bad person. Mistakes are learning tools. Definitely a cute book for kids to learn valuable lessons about themselves and life and that no matter what their parents love them.

No matter what happens, whether you break something or make a mess, your parents love you. People make mistakes. We’re human. Just remember that it doesn’t mean you’re a bad person.

This colorful story tells a child how their parents still love them if they make a mistake and that’s an important lesson for the kids to learn. There are a lot of big words in this book that might need to be explained or read differently. But I like the phrase if you do that, it means you just haven’t learned that yet. And your heart might Mean well, even though your body can’t do it. And that’s an important lesson for children to learn. I could see this being read in maybe a second or third grade classroom. With its colorful pictures. I really enjoyed the story.

I had my daughter read this story with me, as I have with other Madeleine Matthews books.
With her being 6 and just starting to read I was impressed that she was able to read through and understand the moral of this story.
She gets excited when she sees different books like these that help her kind of understand her thought processes and understand a bit more about herself.

Sweet bedtime story.
Very kind and conventional story. Finding one’s guiding light is so important. Drive without purpose isn’t going to ever bring true fulfillment. May each of us guide by that light. Without to many mistakes along the way is easier.
