USA Today BestsellerIn Kristen Proby’s second novel in her Romancing Manhattan series, a playboy vows never to commit—until he meets the one woman he’s tempted to break his promise for.Quinn Cavanaugh doesn’t do anything halfway. He drives fast, works hard, and plays even harder. And the word “commitment” doesn’t exist in his dictionary. He has no plans of settling down with one woman for he … of settling down with one woman for he needs to be free to move on to the next big thing—whatever or whoever that may be. Each party knows the score going into it, and it’s all been working out fine. That is, until a sexy new colleague enters the scene.
Sienna Hendricks doesn’t give much thought to Quinn and the revolving door leading to his bedroom. She’s way too picky about who she shares her time or her body with and screwing around with a colleague isn’t part of her plan either. Quinn doesn’t intimidate her. And unlike most other members of her sex, she doesn’t melt into a puddle at his feet whenever he’s near. Most importantly, she has no issues telling him no.
But for a man who has the world at his feet, Quinn isn’t accustomed to being rejected. And he’s not about to let that change—no matter how persistent Sienna is. To his surprise, Sienna is everything he thought he’d never find. Pursuing her, and convincing her he’s changed, is going to be the biggest challenge of his life. One he’s completely up for….

Quinn Cavanaugh is hot and falling hard! Ashley @ Carolina Chic’s Read!
Sienna the rule follower is trying to protect her family name and the wishes of her grandfather. Quinn the adrenaline junkie is representing his client. When the judge tells these two they have to work together on this 100 year old case to find the truth will these two find more than just the evidence. The chemistry between these two is off the charts but will they act on it and find everything they are looking for? I am loving this series and cannot wait for the next one!
This was such a sweet, and intriguing, enemies to lovers romance. Sienna Hendricks and Quinn Cavanaugh are opposites in many ways. Altho they are both attorneys, Quinn is a thrill seeker while Sienna overthinks and plans everything. They first meet when Quinn has a surprise client who threatens to take something very personal from Sienna’s family. Sienna is beside herself and determined to prove them wrong. When Sienna and Quinn are forced to work together on the case, they soon learn more than they expected. They help each other get out of their comfort zones, take chances, and choose love. I thought Sienna and Quinn were so perfect together, and their chemistry was off the charts. This is a sweet, and heartwarming story with a plot twist that keeps you totally engaged. I haven’t read the first book in this series but will definitely check it out.
This is book 2 in the Romancing Manhattan Series, with Quinn and Sienna. Although I think you could read this book as a standalone without being too lost, I think it is best to read book one and get the back story behind the secondary characters.
Quinn is quite happy with his life, with a strong focus on work he has little time for anything else. Family is his second focus, he sees his brothers daily as they all work together at the firm. He is constantly in touch with his mother as well as he worries about her since their dad passed away. He finds himself having to spread his time even further when forced into working in collaboration with the opposing council looking for answers on a case that is based over 100 years ago.
Sienna is content working for the city, which gives her time to express herself with her painting and spending time with family. She quite likes the 9-5 scene and the time it leaves her to do other things. Stricken by the grief over the loss of her grandfather, and an added pressure when they find out there is supposedly some issues with land they think he owned. Being an active lawyer she jumps in to try and look after the problem. She certainly wasn’t prepared to be told to work together with Quinn Cavanaugh.
In the beginning the work and time spent between Quinn and Sienna was strictly business. Sure it was clear they were both attracted to each other but trying had to keep the lines drawn. The more time spent together the more they realize they like being in each others company. It is a slow burn relationship with a strong current that is just too hard to resist.
Another wonderful romance by Kristen Proby. Nice fun and easy ready. Looking forward to Carter getting his story.

All It Takes is the second book in the Romancing Manhattan series by one of my favorite authors, Kristen Proby! I know once I open one of her books I will want to devour it and I did just that. You can it as a standalone but if you read All the Way then you have already met Quinn, Finn’s brother.
Two lawyers. Two opposing sides. One truth. They both might be working for the other side but they both want the truth. Which means that they will need to work together to find it. Within thirty days. Sienna has thirty days to save a community park. One that has been in her family for generations. Quinn wants the truth even if that means he loses this case. He might be a badass lawyer but he isn’t an asshole.
Quinn wanted her from the moment he saw her. She was sassy, witty, and sexy even in her sensible shoes. And Sienna knew she was in trouble. Especially after finding out this wasn’t an open and closed case. They would have to work together. Nightly. Plus, the attraction was there. Sexual tension thick. With this much tension between them, can they keep it professional?
Of course not! And I am damn happy about that. It’s makes the story fucking swoony, sexy, and witty all at the same time. I loved the way they made each other feel. The way they looked at each other. They gave me all the feels.
Overall…The wait for Quinn’s story was so worth it. I liked him in Finn’s story and totally fell for him in his. I also might have a girl crush of Sienna. She is amazing. Smart, sassy, and knows what she wants. I hope there will be more books in the series. I have a feeling who is up next.
Quotes:
“You’re damn challenging.”
A slow smile slides over her face.
“Damn right I am.”
“I like your confidence. Your honesty. And your legs are fucking gold.”
“I’ll never get tired of exploring you,” I murmur, letting my brush trail over her shoulder to her back as I walk around her. “You’re stunning, Sienna.”
I Love New York
This is the second part of this series, both standalone books, but helpful to read the first one So you know who is Finn and London are. I loved the relationship that came out while having to work with each other, or against each other. Quinn and Sienna are a great couple and the relationship that they built is so good and is realistic. I was completely shocked near the end when you see how Sienna and Quinn got the case they are workng on and how everything ends. Kristen Proby did not disappoint and am awaiting any more books from her.
Second book in Romancing Manhattan series.
Quinn and Sienna meet in court, where they represent opposite sides. They have to work together to resolve issue.
From the moment Quinn saw Sienna, he can’t stop thinking about her. She doesn’t want to do anything with player like Quinn. Finally she gives him a chance…..Then, she finds out that three people she trusted most, lied to her.
Will she be able to forgive them?
Loved the book, characters, storyline.
3.75 stars–ALL IT TAKES is the second instalment in Kristen Proby’s contemporary, adult ROMANCING MANHATTAN erotic, romance series focusing on threes brothers and attorneys: Finn, Carter and Quinn Cavanaugh. This is attorney Quinn Cavanagh, and attorney Sienna Hendricks’ story line. ALL IT TAKES can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary.
Told from dual first person perspectives (Quinn and Sienna) ALL IT TAKES follows the building relationship between opposing attorneys Quinn Cavanagh, and Sienna Hendricks. Sienna Hendricks’ grandfather recently died bequeathing an expensive piece of property, designated as park land, to the Bronx but there is an immediate objection when attorney Quinn Cavanaugh claims to have documentation that the land in question does not belong to the Hendricks’ family. A court order forces our couple to work toward a common goal, a goal to research and uncover the truth. What ensues is the building relationship and romance between Quinn and Sienna, and the potential fall-out when secrets and lies converge to destroy our heroine’s heart.
Sienna Hendricks knows working with Quinn Cavanaugh on her grandfather’s case may be all kinds of wrong but when a judge forces our couple to work together, the sparks begin to fly, and the heart falls in love. Quinn Cavanaugh isn’t opposed to working with our story line heroine but convincing Sienna they should work together behind the scenes is a potential conflict of interest when Quinn is presented with information that could destroy the woman with whom he is falling in love.
The relationship between Quinn and Sienna is one of immediate attraction but Sienna struggles working with a man who is determined to take away her grandfather’s legacy. Quinn is determined to make Sienna his own but secrets revealed will pull Sienna out of his life. The $ex scenes are intimate and passionate without the use of over the top, sexually graphic language and text.
There is a large ensemble cast of secondary and supporting characters including Quinn’s brothers: Finn and London (All the Way #1), Carter Cavanagh and his daughter Gabby, and their mother Margaret; as well as the introduction of Sienna’s sister Lou; their parents, uncle Patrick; and real estate developer Bruce House.
ALL IT TAKES is a story of family, secrets, betrayal and lies. The premise is engaging and captivating; the romance is seductive; the characters are sassy and sexy. ALL IT TAKES is a wonderful addition to Kristen Proby’s ROMANCING MANHATTEN series.
I voluntarily offered to review this book with no obligations and my opinions are honest!
This was a great book !
Sierra was trying to help her family.
If working with the enemy would do that, then so be it.
Quinn is trying to win a case, but falling for the his adversary was not part of the plan.
As Sierra + Quinn are forced to work together to solve this case, they learn that there is more than meets the eye.
Loved the characters + the storytelling !
It has all the ingredients that you need for a great book!
I can’t wait for the next book in this series.

What happens when you get two attorneys who are working on the opposite sides of the fence, one who loves being an adrenaline chaser and one who follows the rules to a T?? You get the story of Quinn and Sienna, who show opposites do attract and can have some scorching chemistry.
All It Takes is another great story in Kristen Proby’s Romancing Manhattan series. I actually liked this one even more than book 1…..All the Way. I found the couple intriguing and entertaining and I loved the storyline. I even loved the little element of suspense she added to the storyline. This is a pretty easy read without a lot of excess drama. It will definitely have you swooning and maybe even melting you kindle while you read it.
This is the second book in this series but can be read as a standalone. It is told in Dual POV. It does revolve around the Cavanaugh brothers and their law firm, so you will see previous characters in this story, but I don’t feel you have to read the first book to really enjoy this book. I thought the flow and pace of this story was spot on. If you are a fan of Kristen Proby’s books then you know what to expect when reading a story she writes. And this book doesn’t disappoint!!!
We follow Quinn and Sienna’s story in All It Takes. Quinn is the brother of Finn (All the Way) and an attorney. They own their own firm. Sienna has just lost her grandfather and was just told that the land their family has owned for many generations was sold to someone else. Sienna doesn’t believe that, so since she is also an attorney she has taken on the case to prove that this land still belongs in her family. This is where she meets Quinn, because he is opposing counsel in this case. Can these two work together without crossing the line?? What happens when attraction is too strong to ignore?? Will they get their HEA once the case is closed?? Read this book to find out.
I was happy to see more of Finn and London in this book. One of the negatives I had for their book was that I wanted an epilogue and now I see why we didn’t have one. Finn and London’s story continues into this story as a secondary storyline. I also like seeing more of Carter and I hope his book is next!!!
I would recommend this book to all romance readers who like a story with very little drama but some suspense to keep you turning the pages. If you know or have read other Kristen Proby books, then you know when you pick this book up, you’re in for a treat!!
This is the second book in the Romancing Manhattan Series and can be read as a standalone. I haven’t read the first book and although the characters from the first book do make appearances, I was able to enjoy it without feeling lost. That being said, I do want to read All the Way because I found All it Takes to be a fun, flirty, sexy quick read and perfect if you’re looking for light contemporary romance. I loved Quinn and I always enjoy a female lead who is strong-willed and smart and Sienna is quite feisty! Looking forward to Carter’s book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.
I’ve read a few of this authors books, and have enjoyed them overall, so I was excited to read her new book that was up for review. All it Takes is about two attorneys that are on opposite sides of the bench, both high powered attorneys, Quinn has his own law firm, Sienna works for the city attorneys office. When Sienna’s grandfather passes away, Quinn is sent to represent a client who says he owns a piece of property that the grandfather has willed to the city, a fact that the family strongly denies, so it’s taken to court where Sienna represents her family, and Quinn represents the man who has brought the allegation front and center, the judge strongly suggests that the two attorneys work together since the files go back over 100 years, and they don’t have a lot of time to get the information needed to decide the case. This story develops very quickly between Quinn and Sienna, might be the first issue I have with it. The story just doesn’t flow well, something that surprised me with this author, I found myself skipping over sections because it was just boring and repetitive, again not something I usually do with any author I read let alone this one. The story was rather predictable, although there was one surprise at the end, but overall it was just okay for me. Loved the premise of the book, but would have liked to had a bit more development in the overall storyline to give it more interesting depth. Would love to find out what happens with Carter and Nora.
I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.
Such a sweet, addicting book.
This is a standalone that is also part of Romancing Manhattan series, and this time we get Quinn (Finn’s brother) and Sienna’s story.
One thing that I love is that, as usual with this author, it’s sweet, sexy and oh so full of love. But somehow this series has all that but it’s also different. I think it has a sobriety about it that we don’t find in her other books, it’s new, it’s maybe more mature even, and I loved it so much.
Don’t get me wrong, I love all of her books and I love the lightness in them, but I love to see this new picture in this series, this sensitivity.
Both of them are attorneys and, after her granfather’s passing, she is faced with an unexpected issue on his will. And the issue is brought up by a big client Quinn represents.
But the case is so peculiar that not only they are on opposing counsels, but they are induced into working together. And that brings so many feelings that maybe they should withhold.
“‘Sienna, can you honestly say that you don’t feel anything when we’re together?’
‘I feel it. And I’m fighting it'”
But keeping their feelings in check is easier said than done. And soon enough, those feelings become bigger than themselves.
They have both great work ethic and they are trying to find the truth in their case, no matter who wins.
And as they spend more time together, they become closer and closer, and they start to see that living without each other might not be an option.
“The only way I can describe it is, I saw you for the first time, and I knew my life would never be the same. You are seated squarely in the heart of my being, Sienna”
But the problem is that there are so many things they still don’t know, and other things that only Quinn knows partly, and that might all it takes to break them apart.
Unless they have all it takes to get through all that and still nurture their love.
I think I found my new favorite Manhattan couple! I loved Quinn and Sienna!!
This book is face paced and gets going immediately. It’s enemies to lovers with a twist.
Quinn represents a client with interest in a property of Sienna’s late grandfather. Lawyers… both lawyers with complications, but I totally fell for their story. I love how the author threw in the law aspect of it, but had validity too! It wasn’t just what one would see on TV. It had truth and that means the world to me!!
I am a fan of this Manhattan series and look forward to more.
This is the second installment in this series, I didn’t know that but I was not lost I just wished that I had started from the beginning and maybe I would have enjoyed more, please do not think that I didnt I did I just felt thaaaat something was missing so I do plan to go to read the first book and see if I am missing something so that goes to show you that had I not enjoyed it somewhat I wouldn’t have even bothered. So we meet Sienna whose grandfather past away and left her a family park. The judge orders her to work with the opposing counsel which she did expect nor wanted since she wasn’t sure how she felt about Quinn. There is history with their families and now there is going to be more since they are about to find out more history between them they were not aware of..What happens? Grab a copy
Rcvd an ARC at no cost to author..(netgalley) voluntarily reviewed with my own thoughts and opinions
3.5 stars
This is the second book in the Romancing Manhattan series, I did not read book one prior and was totally fine.
Quinn is an attorney who is representing a client who is trying to prove ownership of a park and comes in contact with Sienna. Sienna is also an attorney and she is out to prove the park belongs to her family fair and square. The case is a hundred years old and the judge tell them to work together to get to the bottom of things. The chemistry between the two are undeniable. I loved how was Sienna was strong independent and determine to e respected and make her own way. I loved how Finn was a workaholic because he loved his worked. I thought that the story dove right and kept that pass throughout. Quick easy read just in time for summer!
BRILLIANT!!!
I couldn’t put this book down. From the start to the end it was so good. The story just kept getting better and better and hotter. Quinn and Sienna are brilliant characters I really liked them from the start. Sienna is a strong independent attorney from the Bronx. She sassy and knows what she want. Being in a job that is mainly ran by men she has to be this way. Also growning up with most the men in her family doing the same job she knew what she wany to be. The man in her life her father and grandfather meant everything to her. So when her grandfather past away it was hard to deal with. But with all her family being close they stuck together to help each other. But things took a lil turn when they found out that property her grandfather owned might not be his. This is where the gorgeous Quinn Cavanagh came in.
Quinn is a great guy I liked him from the very start. He is an attorney in Manhattan with his brother and brother in law. They have worked there back sides off to get where they are now work long long hours but it been worth it. They havnt had it easy over the last few year with there father and sister pass away. But they are a close family so they have stuck together. Quinn is so caring looking after his mum and he luvs his niece so much she means the world to him. I really liked this side to him. When he caught a site of Sienna he knew there was something between them. It wasnt goin to be easy to keep his hands to himself when it came to the gorgeous red head.
This story was so good its flowed so well throughout the whole book. Image big fan if this author so I alway know that I’m goin to enjoy her books. But I have to say I think this book is one if her best so far. I luvd the connection Sienna and Quinn had together. They were so alike with there luv of there family and work. They just brought out the best in each other. The twist in the book was great even though you sort if knew what was goin to happen there was a bigger twist that had me shocked. I really luvd that. I highly recommend this book. There isn’t a thing that I didnt like. Its was so easy to read with great characters and story. I’m really looking forward to more of this series the secondary characters in this series are so good to even though we just got a bit if them I know there books are goin to be good. So excited!!
Kristen Proby is one of my go-to authors. If I’m in a slump? I just pull up any one of her books, and it will fill the gap. So I’m always on the lookout for more new material from her. All It Takes, the second book in her Romancing Manhattan series, was just what I was looking for!
Lawyer Sienna Hendricks’ grandfather has just passed away and left a chunk of money to each of his children and grandchildren. The rest was left to a church and a plot of land left to the city to remain as a park. The land becomes controversial when a man comes forward claiming that his family is the rightful owner. This brings lawyer Quinn Cavanaugh into the picture. Sienna and Quinn are on opposites sides, but must work together to find the truth about the land. But right from the beginning, their chemistry is put to the test.
The Romancing Manhattan series is a bit different than many other books by Kristen Proby. There’s more of an element of deceit and mystery surrounding these characters. I really like that! As usual, the writing is done very well, and the characters are lovable. I will say that I wish there had been just a little more at the end. Everything seemed to come together a little quickly- maybe if there had been an epilogue later in the future, that would have sufficed. I do, however, know that there is more to come in this series, therefore, there will be more of Quinn and Sienna.
I look forward to Carter’s story!!
From the moment I opened this book, I had this feeling that I was going to fall in love with the characters, the ambiance, the story as whole.
I was right.
Kristen Proby delivers stories that give you the escape you crave. Your heart and mind transport to the story as it unfolds.
I loved All It Takes. I loved how the chemistry between Quinn and Sienna wasn’t just physical, but intellectual as well. Two lawyers working on the same case in which love and history brings them closer together. In addition to the story being sexy and swoony like only Kristen Proby can do, it had a nice unexpected twist. It was so welcomed, that seeing the end was truly bittersweet.
If you’ve never read a Kristen Proby, this is a great story to introduce you to her books. This is a must read.
