It has been over twenty years since the publication of The Ragamuffin Gospel, a book many claim as the shattering of God’s grace into their lives. Since that time, Brennan Manning has been dazzingly faithful in preaching and writing variations on that singular theme –
“Yes, Abba is very fond of you!”
But today the crowds are gone and the lights are dim, the patches on his knees have … are dim, the patches on his knees have faded. If he ever was a ragamuffin, truly it is now. In this his final book, Brennan roves back his past, honoring the lives of the people closest to him, family and friends who’ve known the saint and the sinner, the boy and the man. Far from some chronological timeline, these memories are witness to the truth of life by one who has lived it – All Is Grace.

If you want to know how to live your life and have a meaning, this is the book
Very honest written from the point of view of a person who suffered a lot but is or was ( I don’t know if he has passed) a caring human being . At the end of the day like Brennan said all is given to us free by a merciful God. I recommend it and I am glad I read it just before Holy Week.
Honest sharing from a man seeking to follow God’s will for his life with all the hurdles.
This book was lovely.
Brennan Manning is absolutely amazing. I read everything by him
This is the best book I have read in years. Powerful writing yet so down to earth. I we glued to this book , waiting for what the next page would say. Absolutely a great read.
Brennan Manning does a wonderful job in sharing the love of God and his infinite grace.
This book was real life, sad, hopeful, and full of grace.
Such an amazing honest story of redemption. Nicely written.
An excellent biography of one of the most genuine Christian, teachers and exemplkars of God’s Grace.
Makes me wish I could have met the author. His strong belief that God not only loves us but actually likes us was inspirational to me.
I love ANYTHING written by Brennan Manning.
I enjoy all of Brennan Manning’s work. He has a great way of revealing spiritual truth.
I immensely enjoyed this book. Manning’s ruthless honest and powerful insights are a great blessing. Although he is physically no longer with us, his legacy lives on in books such as this. A wonderful book!
Love this book. Gods forgiveness and love is the story of Brennan’s life. Touching and tragic.
What an inspirational book! Most mainline Protestants are lacking in the themes that the author no only highlights in the book, but models too. An intentional and well-lived life is the best apologetic for all of us. And in the end, he’s right. As Christians, our lives are not our own. We are here for others. And, though we too often fail at …
He is an incredibly challenging and inspirational author, speaker, and follower of Christ. Challenging for sure!!
All is grace. You don’t have to be great to be greatly used by God. This honest portrait of his own life, failures and all, shows us that God loves us just where we are. There’s nothing we can do to make Him love us any more or any less. God can and will use us if we give our hearts and lives to Him.
I love Brennan but I was very disappointed how he minimized his alcoholism and it’s effects on his family…it is devastating and I was surprised he didn’t confess and “own” it.His Ragamuffin Gospel was a huge healing ministry I;my heart and I will always be indebted to him.
This is a clear decription of the GRACE of God, for everyone, who is searthing to know who Jesus Christ is.
